Posted February 16, 2018 I have kind of a stupid question... So, I've been trying to breed my Krais and my Crownes ever since Krais came out. I mean, my oldest 2nd gen is from May of 2017. Granted, I haven't been as dedicated as I could have been, but I've also heard that letting dragons go longer can let them breed more reliably? idk, that's not the question. Between ALL my pairs I can't get a Fleshcrowne. It's been over a year of trying on and off. Is it ever going to happen? Is it even worth trying to continue at this point? Sinii Krais are much, much newer then Imperial Fleshcrownes, and newer dragons have a tendency to completely dominate breeding results even when the mate is common. Posted February 16, 2018 (edited) I saw some people thanking others for sending them the flowers they are missing, but so far none of the flowers I received on cards were saved to my flower list. If someone could enlighten me and let me know if I've been experiencing a bug throughout the whole event without realizing, I'd appreciate it ): Would be pretty sad to find out I've been missing out on a big part of the event now that's so close to the end. Posted February 16, 2018 The point of cards is to send kind/funny messages to each other... There is no material gain from doing it, it's just nice. I think what you are referring to is people wanting to receive one card with each flower, because the only thing we are sure to keep when the event is over is the cards we received. (As far as I'm aware, the flower collection will go, and as for the cards sent there has been no indication of whether we will get to keep them or not). Share this post Link to post

I wouldn't say never, but breeding dominance is a real thing and can be very discouraging. I have experienced it with breeds that are not even that far apart in release dates. And currently I am trying to get a Sunstone from Sunstone x Tetra. I have been trying 6 pairs for months with nothing but Tetras resulting. Share this post Link to post

Am I just out of dragon luck? I got really lucky with that pairing when breeding this Lovely Common, and it still took several tries from both pairs to get just one Fleshcrowne. I'd be happy to breed you a 2nd or 3rd gen from that line after the holiday eggs are gone, if you're interested. I've been struggling to get Dark Mysts from Kyanites and Ridgewings from Monarchs (and I need them to alt, ugh), so I feel your pain. And I haven't tried half as many times as Fuzz. I have given up on cassares. I just don't care that much. As you see with my lot - I have a lot of breeding pairs of everything - though hesitate to use some who have already fit into the linage. Posted February 16, 2018 (edited) What Ruby Eyes said. The best thing to do is just keep breeding, honestly. The ratio system thinks certain breeds are underpopulated so it tries to (sometimes constantly) produce more of them. Most of the Krais you toss will be hatched and raised to adulthood, and that will slowly cause the ratios to relax more and balance itself a bit better. Eventually you'll get the Fleshcrowne you desire. Hopefully sooner rather than later! edit: Just to add onto what GhostMouse posted, if you're open to assistance with breeding a Fleshcrowne from that combo many of us will be happy to give it a shot. Posted February 16, 2018 Nothing that isn't already outdated a month later Generally, look at the http://dragcave.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon_Release_Timeline and you get an idea of which common beats which other common, solely based on their novelty status. The closer together the release date of both breeds, the more likely you can get an egg of the older breed. Share this post Link to post
Posted February 16, 2018 (edited) So this isn’t a question about the site per se, but I have this app called Sandbox that’s a paint-by-number pixel art thing. So I picked a little dragon and the more of it I colored in, the more I recognized it. I was like “hey that looks pretty familiar. Is that a... royal blue hatchling?” And sort of disregarded it because the coloring was different but I looked it up today and it is almost an EXACT replica of the royal blue s2 hatchling, just flipped and recolored. is this even legal? Posted February 16, 2018 Yep, the Royal Blues are mine. And I had no idea that the artwork was being used elsewhere, so it's certainly not done with permission or, apparently, credit. Holy . I legit have no other words to describe what i"m seeing. On a seperate note, we're not the only victims. Bottom right hand corner image was on the game as well.
