Question - are Mints ever supposed to turn upside down?

The only upside down mints are the ones that were "won" from the April Fool's event. Otherwise, no. You'll know because of their cave status and from clicking on them to double-check. Otherwise, no. This is one of mine: https://dragcave.net/lineage/JJM2w

Edit: Whoa, super ninja. IDK why this was showing me stuff from 18 hours ago as if it was new.

What is "mass breeding?"

I've seen some screenshots with 5 eggs per pairing.

Mass breeding is when a player breeds multiple dragon pairings at once, usually when locked so their eggs go straight to the AP.

You probably saw screenshots of a eggs bred from a Celestial parent. Celestials produce multiclutches. That means you can get anywhere from 1 to 4 eggs at a time from one breeding. Holidays do this too, but only during their special breeding seasons.

I doubt it. First of all, several eggs per pairing (for one breeding) are called multi-clutches, only happen to holiday dragons during their season or if one of the parents is a Celestial Dragon. Second, these multi-clutches don't get bigger than 4 eggs apiece. (Unless you manage to accidentally hit lag while breeding and try to hit breed again while the site is still progressing. I think it was my daughter who once managed to breed 7 eggs from one pairing in one day that way. But that is quite obviously a glitch.)

Second, actuall mass-breeding is when one player or a group of them decide to go on a breeding spree with lots of dragons. Most often, this included only one breed or only a very limited amount of breeds that fit a certain theme. This quite often results in so-called AP walls, where the AP is full of eggs of the same breed (like full of purple dorsals).

Holiday dragons will only breed true on their own holiday. At other times they will refuse if bred with another holiday dragon, or give only the mate's breed if bred with something else. So, no, you really can only trade them at holiday times, because that is the only time that you can get eggs to trade.

Unfrozen hatchlings only. Anything frozen or adult cannot move to another scroll anymore.

I could be crazy, but does anyone remember a thread dedicated to discussing the optimal number of reds to have based on your trophy level? I've been looking and can't seem to find it - not sure if my memory is flawed.

DC Math. There was an older thread under the same-ish name as well. But that thread has all the math behind how many of the BSAs you need to never run out.

Not on the site, no. But on the forum, you can keep an eye on this thread:

When looking at the "Who's online" list I saw some accounts that are probably spammers (no activity except from links to external sites in their profiles, one even linking an escort service). To which moderator do I report them?

Have they posted ? You have to, to start being here - and mods check "first posts" - I imagine they will all be picked up before they are actual MEMBERS. I can only see one - and they don't have such a link.

So far I found four of those. And no, they did not post. Most of them have been around for some time now (as in months). The one with the escort link:  JOINED November 3, 2016

Ah. Well, I suppose tell any mod. But if they don't post - well, to be honest - who's going to look at random profiles ? (OK, you did, but...)

interesting. "Search members" who joined on that date doesn't  bring up anyone with such a link in their profile... I suspect a mod has blocked them and they are not an actual member, but their name still comes up.

Which brings up another question to me. Where is the list of mods? There used to be a link at the bottom of the forum, but unless I am blind that is gone.

@fuzzbucket I guess I'll go ahead and PM _Z_ then. Thanks for your help!

@purplehaze - You're not blind! It's here now: https://forums.dragcave.net/staff

I believe _Z_ is temporarily inactive.

And where did you find the link to that list?
