So Your Dragons Refuse To Go Near Each Other

Recommended Posts

So far, all my new mates had accepted their partners, until this arranged marriage went suddenly sour. I had even picked the lineage so their names would complement.... sad.gif

I could breed you a sibling of my checker (my dragons offspring, a very small one so it seems) if you want ^^

Pairing That Refused:link x link

Dragon Breeds: Aegis X Fever Wyvern

Extra Info: The FW is easily replaced, just irritating. I don't breed very often, so a refusal is disappointing.

Dragon Breeds: Whiptail x Grave 2gs

Extra Info: My scroll is littered with holiday common mates that refused the holiday. Yes, I can breed a new one, but sheesh! Oh, and fertility used on the whiptail.

I caught a CB Pink as soon as I started looking for one. Too good to be true. dry.gif

On the hunt again. Sigh.

EDIT: And another. Heartseeker x Pink. What do Pinks have today? dry.gifdry.gif

I waited a whole year to breed a perfect mate for a wonderful Thunder I got as a gift. Of course they had to refuse... *sigh*

I really wish something would be done about refusals already, but I'm not holding my breath... another holiday-only pair I guess. Too bad, this line would have been nice for gifting...

Posing a question for everyone: Have you seen an increase in refusals after using fertility? It seems whenever I use fertility, at least one pairing is more likely to refuse.

Bred 4 pairs of male Hellfire and female Pyro. 1 refusal, and the same Hellfire had already refused another Pyro. His threshold for refusals seems rather low ...

I didn't notice this, although I felt that fertility had a positive impact on 'no interests' - perhaps I got lucky, but a majority of my pairing after the BSA did not display a non-interest line, even if they did not always produce an egg. Now it's almost without effect and I've mostly stopped using it.

I have a question too: are some dragons more picky/stubborn than others? A lot of mine refuse their second mate after already refusing the first. Even had one dragon refuse FOUR mates in a row (she's *still* unpaired - trying again next week).

I believe it's just luck. The only dragons that apparently have a higher refusal rate are turpentines.

I don't have patience for the form tonight.

Both my CB Arsani dragons just refused CB Golden Wyverns at about 1:15 a.m. I didn't use fertilize.

When I started playing this game, I never had this many refusals. Especially not two in a row like that.

Second mate refused. I chose not to use fertility.

I had my Bronze Shimmer x Arsani shimmer refuse BOTH of my CB Arsanis. That was REALLY irritating. Now I have to breed it with either pinks or another V-day dragon. I mean, what the heck? Why would the idiot refuse BOTH Arsanis? Arsanis are pretty girls. He's dumb. dry.gif
