All four of my solstices grew up with the correct wing color to follow pattern. Even the one that was a complete unknown since it was found in the AP

Both my new holiday eggs hatched by about a minute after midnight I then went to the AP and caught two hollies - a nice EG thuwed and another that's a little off at the beginning but is still a very pretty holly x gold "stair".

I love breeding for rares right after holidays. They breed so well.

 

Finally got a silver from my silver/purple checker, an ice from my ice/white checker, and a gold from my RA/gold checker. All were needed to continue the lineage another generation. Good dragons.

 

(Now if only one of my three black tea/silver pairs would pop out a silver... Maybe the 55th egg between the three pairs will be my lucky one? Haha!)

This year, my greed for past Christmas dragons really escalated

 

I got

 

- Six new Mistletoes (why so many? I don't even like them that much o.o)

- Three Solstices

- FIVE Hollies (two of them 4th gen)

- Two of: Wrapping Wing, Ribbon Dancer and Snow Angel

- Three Winter Magi - one of them was the most amazing gift: A 2nd gen from an AN ACTUAL CAVEBORN HELLHORSEE - OMG THANK YOU FOREVER

 

Except the Hollies, all of them are 2nd gens.

 

The only past Christmas dragon I didn't collect at all were the Yulebucks as I don't really like them.

Got Holiday '15 eggs with the codes lAylA and crooN! Particularly pleased with that last one; I hope this breed turns out to be super-gentle or musical.

I collect Hollies. Each year, my Holly Count went up. :3

 

 

By the end of 2011, I had 1 Holly.

In 2012, I had 2.

Then they lifted the cap on non-CB Holidays, so in 2013, I had 6.

In 2014, I upped my count to 20.

Now I think I have 44, but I haven't really counted.

 

This year I got my Gold Trophy too, so next year... :3

 

I guess that's what happens when you're less-than-picky about lineages and you still have flashbacks about how tough-to-get that first one was.

 

So yeah, you could call me greedy...

There is no greed in DC, there are no hoarders in DC. We just catch/hunt for/grab what we like/can. Enjoy!

Managed to obtain 10 Hollies this year, including one I froze! (And for those pulling out their hair going, "Why would you freeze a Holly?!?!?!", well, it was messy and inbred, plus the hatchie sprite is adorable )

This was my friend's first DC Christmas, and she didn't know what color her Snow Angels would be. I gave her a 2nd gen from white-winged and Gold, and hers grew up with white wings too!
