Bahaha, the grandparents on the father's side. Very pretty! I think now is a good time as any for alt neb projects - alts seem to be in abundance, atm. Like how recently blacks were breeding alts like they was going out of fashion. :B

reds are few and far between and golds non-existent .  I am holding on to someday----

@dragonpuck: this sounds more like a pure torture I'm sure, my red&gold pairs will test me a dozen times before letting me have what I want But this is part of the game which makes it captivating ^^ (though don't wish to sound masochistic here ) BTW, albinos and sunstones look great together

 

I think yesterday must have just been a bad breeding day. I bred 49 pairs and got a grand total of 7 offspring. Of course over half of those pairs involved either metallics or stripes.

 

@purplehaze: stripes are among the naughtiest dragons, I bet. To me their breeding results always come as a big surprise - no matter if I got no eggs at all or plenty of wrong colored eggs just like not so long ago ---> cb stripes bred me 3 (!) 2d gen reds (while I need greens) Two have already been gifted and there's still one left

Has anyone done something non-purebred with mints that you care to show?

 

I'm looking for a second breed to combine with mints in a mirrored checker. The more simplicistic the sprite the better, as I want to use Shakespeare's Sonnet 130 for the lyrics, which is about loving ones beloved in their humanness and with all their faults instead of idealizing and idolizing them.

But the colours need to work together, too... (e.g. waterwalker x mint will probably clash, I think)

 

Any ideas would be greatly welcome!

Found several 2nd gen Mints x Balloons a while ago on the AP. Took two and made this, looks not too bad I think. And as they are about the same rate of common, you might get the wanted breeds easily too.
