I recently discovered a new pet peeve of mine. Never had problems with this before, but ever since I've been living with my mother in law, this started to become a pet peeve.

 

Whenever she's done eating or drinking something, she cleans her teeth with her tongue. Now, that's no problem, except she makes these squeaky, sucking sounds while she does it. And that has really started annoying me to no end >_<

 

Other pet peeves are using you're/your and similar words wrong. And a lot without the space... on my own forum I've made sure it never happens with the word censoring. Bliss I wish I Could do the same with your/you're >_<

Really annoys me when I see people who continually defend the group they belong to and act as if none of their members could do any wrong, even when presented with direct evidence of there being violent and rabid members in their midst.

 

I don't care if it's a fandom, religion, politics, whatever. Acknowledge the extremist jerks in your midst and distance yourselves from them with your actions.

Little children also annoy the HECK out of me. They're bratty and frequently do annoying things on purpose because they think it's "cute."

And the screaming is just horrendous. It's made even worse when the parents don't care that their kids are running around misbehaving and bothering people. They think it's "cute" too.

 

I swear I will never have kids.

Nope, it comes from the Old Norse "heiðinn." Christians turned it into a word synonymous with "evil." The date you're getting may be when we took back the word, though.

I can't stand people in general

I cannot stand the utter stupidity of some people.

Adding to that, I abhor people who think that insulting their elders is fun, people who act like they're the reason the earth is turning, and people who use terms such as "gay" for anything that they find distasteful or stupid (Seriously, that's not what it means. Why are you using it like that?) or people who've decided that actually trying to better themselves is less productive than their little clique that only gossips and texts in class.

 

It annoys me when my dad leaves the toilet seat up when he is the only male in the house.

Except good people. Like, moms. I like moms. I like hanging out with them because the moms I know are nice and friendly and tolerating and experienced and just good people. I like them.

 

Also a pet peeve:

When I'm right and people correct me and they're wrong. Like, wow, guys, go and embarrass yourself why don't you? Correct me when I'm right - make yourself sound stupid - you're just hurting yourself. And also making me sound like an idiot for anyone who believes you are right.

I couldn't agree more. They're all over the place at my school. They sit in the study areas laughing and cussing loudly thinking it makes them cool. They show no respect for anyone. Not even themselves.

 

And I wish they would pull up their pants. Seriously, no one wants to see your pants so low that all of your underwear is showing. And then they wear belts to hold their pants around their knees. WTF.

When people shove me out of the way in the hall way when I'm at my locker not even in the way(Girl like three lockers away) and they make fun of me because I'm a nerd a band/orchestra geek and because I hardly ever talk to anybodt except my close friends which I have very few, If anyone does talk to me it's only because they want an answer from me because I know it or because they want to do a project with me because I know how to do it. kinda sad really oh and when people talk about One Direction obsesevily here and there it's fine but when that's all you talk about it's so annoying I don't personally like that style of music I like rock, Metal that kind of stuff

I can't stand reading a good comic/manga and the girls look like blown up sex dolls with the gigantic boobs and porn star bodies. Even my brother said when he saw certain anime covers, "God, that looks so trashy. Who would watch that?"

Bad grammar - it's not the people with the bad grammar that bother me (well, sometimes) but the grammar itself irritates me, but I really don't care so much anymore. I don't judge people because they don't have perfect grammar. I don't even have perfect grammar..

Narrowmindedness and insensitivity (can't everyone in the world just be perfectly lovely and stuff? And can unicorns just come out of hiding already?)
