༺Any type of Western Eastern, Amphiptere, etc.

Not amphipteres. Amphipteres are like winged snakes, they have no limbs other than wings. These two have actual legs.

Also, diamond might be a wyvern, since it appears to be biped. A lot of wyvern s1 hatchies have just arms and appear to be bipeds(bright breasted, carmine, flamingo, golden, seragamma and tsunami).

I don't think and not trying to shoot any suggestions down, but since they are stationed between Mis-Moo all but the Monarch is ruled out unsure.gif

Thanks for the list! Let the speculations begin xd.png

Morpho seems unlikely, as we already have the Morphodrakes.

edit: ninja.gif'd by some people. xd.png

Um, no? abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

N comes before o.

I'm gonna sit here waiting for those two beautiful dragons to grow into adults rather than speculating their ''species''.

Anyone joining me?

@Ripan: It could still have a MNEMONIC name laugh.gif

Um, no? abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

Are you reading posts backwards? The Mnemonic one wasn't in CellyBean's list of possible names - it was mentioned *after* the post you commented on. So only MONARCH and MNEMONIC so far fit with their sorting space.

@aisudesu: That's your choice - I think speculation is half of the fun with a new release laugh.gif

Sweet, a new release! Thank you, TJ, Odeen, and Infinis! happy.gif I got myself 4 leaf litter eggs and 2 diamond eggs. It seems that it took a while for all the eggs to hatch. For a moment, I thought that the gray hatchlings came from the diamond eggs and the pink hatchlings came from the leaf litter eggs due to the matching colors. laugh.gif

3rd Edition

"Diamond" Dragon

Names/Nicknames so far:

༺Diamond

༺Diamondback

Pink Diamond (Not possible as an official name, see Sorting)

Habitat

༺Alpine

༺Volcano

Type of dragon

༺Any type of Western, Eastern, Wyvern, etc.

༺NOT a Drake, Pygmy, Two-headed, or Non-dragon

Sorting

Sort between Desipis Dragons and Dorsal

Egg

༺Very shiny-looking, has tiny patches of pink/magenta hidden around the egg

Hatchling

༺Magenta, very T-rex looking. Has a small patch of Diamond under its neck.

Speculation:

I guess the diamond one will grow some diamonds or something, similar to how pillows are naked when first hatching, then they grow lots of fur.

༺Many people are surprised that the hatchling turned out magenta

I just noticed a diamond-colored thing on the hatchie's chest.

Edit: the diamond egg does have pink highlighting on it.

༺Magenta hatchling does have a patch of diamond on it, and the egg has hints of magenta as well. Maybe not so random anymore?

"Leaf Litter" Dragon

Names/Nicknames so far:

Leaf Litter (Not possible as an official name, see Sorting)

Moth (Not possible as an official name, see Sorting)

Autumn (Not possible as an official name, see Sorting)

Leaf Eater (Not possible as an official name, see Sorting)

༺Monarch (Thanks Ripan!)

༺Mnemosyne butterfly (Possibly, thanks Ripan again!)

Habitat

༺Coast

༺Desert

༺Forest

༺Jungle

Type of dragon

༺Any type of Western, Eastern, etc.

༺NOT a Drake, Pygmy, Two-headed, or Non-dragon

Sorting

Misfit Pygmies and Moonstones

Egg

༺Dark brown color, like a pile of leaf litter (hence the description)

Hatchling

༺Very fluffy, reminds people of a bunny, or a moth, butterfly, or some other kind of insect

Speculation:

The autumn [hatchling] has a bunny vibe almost.

Leaf actually looks like it's fluffy.

Moth dragon? Given it's chubby, dark appearance and voracious appetite, I don't think we can completely discard the butterfly idea.

༺Fluffiness of hatchling is surprising some people

༺Speculation on if it is based on a moth, butterfly, or some other kind of insect

Plus Infinis seems to have a thing for insects.

༺Backs up the insect idea further

The leaf-litter dragons might be inspired by hickory tussock moths, since the hatchlings resemble the fluffy caterpillars and the eggs are similar to the adult moths.

༺More evidence

I'll try to keep this updated!

Big thanks to Ripan, Mashabely, Jazeki, and Raptor of Dragons for being the biggest contributors to this ongoing info post!

Thank you for this!

No problem! biggrin.gif

Unless it changes color as it grows, I don't think it's a monarch, since the hatchling looks blue-ish and Monarch Butterflies are orange coloured. =P
