Posted October 22, 2020 (edited) I don't THINK it removes it from their box, does it ? Just means they can't answer yours. Off to test.... @Ruby Eyes Pleas check your inbox ! Edited October 22, 2020 by Fuzzbucket Share this post Link to post
Posted October 22, 2020 Well, that is interesting. When I tried to modify an old conversation this way, I was not able to remove the other participant (who probably had long forgotten that I exist anyway). Share this post Link to post
Posted October 22, 2020 (edited) When you answer, I will delete it and see if you still can. But also we need to know if deleting it removes it from a mailbox if you don't remove the participants first... Edited October 22, 2020 by Fuzzbucket Share this post Link to post
Posted October 22, 2020 Well, OK - I'll test the delete thing on YOU. Check your inbox. Share this post Link to post
Posted October 22, 2020 That's what I thought. So deleting it does NOT delete it for the other person. But was the one I removed Ruby from still visible to her ? Share this post Link to post
Posted October 22, 2020 OK - so that's how to do it then. Delete to leave it available to others, remove them and they won't see it ? Share this post Link to post

Posted October 22, 2020 OK - so removing you takes it out of YOUR box but not out of mine, and deleting it takes it out of mine and not yours. Useful to know.... Share this post Link to post

Just above the top of that bar, at the right-hand side of the screen, there should be a little label that says "Options". If you click it, then it drops down a little menu which includes "delete conversation". I assume that that's how people are supposed to delete messages, anyway. If there's another way, I've never found it. I don't see an options button - only filter by and sort by. Share this post Link to post

You can also delete messages from the list by putting a checkmark in the box beside them and then clicking at the bottom to delete them. Spoiler I'm not sure how that all looks on mobile, though, if that is what you use. The options should still be there somewhere, though.
