So this has been bugging me for a few days. Usually the artificial holiday to the top AP sort is turned off after the holiday ends, right? Was that not the case this year, or are there simply almost no normal eggs in the AP right now?

I think it's because the Holiday eggs are the eggs with the lowest time? Eggs that were sent to the AP before the Halloween breeding started would have died by now(nuu ;-; ) and AP eggs are usually at 4~5 days left while the current Halloween ones are at about 2 days.

Are you only using one hatchery? The hatcheries are slow due to sheer number of holiday eggs in them and not enough people running views coupled with issues like random lag. But still it isn't that bad as the egg you had. Mine hatch in few hours by using 3 hatcheries.

If you look at the sheer number of eggs in the ERs it is no wonder! Everyone who has eggs in those ERs and anyone else who can should be running the viewers in the background as much as possible right now.

How do you change genders? 3 of the 4 of my new Halloween 2016 hatchies have gendered male. The last one had not gendered yet. Is there a way I can change one to be female? I don't have the ability to teleport with the magic dragon...

Once they are hatched there is no way to change or influence the gender. Eggs can be influenced by Pink dragons to be the same gender as the Pink. It is too late to help you now, but you would be wise to collect some Pink dragons for the future.

 

In the meantime, try looking in the trade threads for people looking for gender swaps. If they have a trade link posted then you will not need a Magi of your own.

Eggs with lower time show up in the AP first, after they're picked up your eggs with more time will show up in the AP.

 

Unless you mean that your eggs show up as having three days when you search the code, but say that they have 2 days and 23 hourse in the AP?

I really messed that up. Excuse - I am 72 years old and never was a whiz at mental arithmetic...

 

My eggs - some still not showing - seemed to have an hour LESS than those in the AP.... No biggie; I was just curious.They are starting to be picked up at last.

Like I said, it could be due to poor memory, but I swear it DID say MALE and it gendered female. I will keep pictures of the precognitions now and let you know further updates because it happened to me twice.

 

Edit here: A shadow Walker egg is precog to be male. I have a photo of it on my phone and I will have an update on it. Because it's always the males who go female and not the other way around

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. When I've used Precognition on an egg and found its gender tone one that I don't want I've used a Pink dragon the Influence it to the other gender.

They mean the message still says they can be influenced even though they're too low time to be influenced.

 

So, no, precog doesn't take that into account. You could probably make a suggestion to change that, but I'm not sure it's really worth the effort personally. =p

Suggestions belong in Suggestions/Requests. Others have requested a summer holiday before, so while it's not something I'm personally interested in, others have shown interest before.

 

I'm not really sure what you're so worried about reaction-wise, but if people harass you or are rude or insulting to you, either publicly or via PM, please do report them to a mod.
