Thanks to those of you who did have luck, I finally did fully unlock wyrms, easterns, and lindwyrms!

 

I'll be trying through the 31st of months until next Halloween. Hopefully I'll experience some more luck then. >_<

I now have 3 zombies altogether. Still haven't decided if I want to try and collect all. If so I will have to do more planning. I kinda went through my scroll this time with a 'what don't I need?' thought. I have tons of extra mints I could try it on, but I don't have the heart to do that to the one thing I'm collecting hard.

My Kyanite didn't dodge so well the second time, so I now have her zombie. Kind of unfortunate because this means I am keeping her egg and losing a spot for a Halloween but oh well.

 

Also tried a Hellfire and only got dust.

I so wished for one of those amazing new Zombie sprites, but I didn't have much luck today.

I don't think I'll try getting a zombie on any other day of the year, if the chances are already this bad on Halloween ^^"

I made 5 attempts today, and 3 were successful! Not bad at all.

 

Adult Lindwurm, adult Leviathan, and adult Two-Headed. Very pretty/hideous!

I had totally not been paying attention; did the odds of getting a zombie on Halloween get majorly lowered?

 

Never had a problem getting one before, and this year I came up with nothing for the new sprites.

I was to add my results for the 5 more kills but I haven't... because I got 0/5 zombies out of this and used the rarest breeds (CB Mageias and CB2-Headed-Lindwurms)... which also means that it probably doesn't matter how many zombies you have on your scroll after all?

 

so my final rate is:

14 turns out or 38 tries

(I have 13 zombies from today after expunging a double)

 

I just noticed, while adding my batch a few hours ago, that despite I said I will add them (to the spread sheet) later myself, sb visited my scroll and added 2 of these and I got lost and frustrated not knowing which were already added and which not:/ Please either don't do this at all in such cases or add ALL, not just a few you chose (in this case 2/13)...

I tried less turns this year than usual, but my success rate was actually higher of that in past years at a whopping 23% this year. Some years are just worse than others, unfortunately. Sorry you didn't get any. =(

I got two Zombies this year, turned just as the Halloween event started: one adult Green, one frozen Stone hatchling. I also had three failures: two frozen stone hatchlings and one adult Green.

I got a total of 3 adult zombies and 4 zombie hatchlings today. I got *exactly* the types that I wanted, too, so all in all I'm very happy with how this turned out.

I got one successful zombie myself, a female Diamondwing... so, a normal Western. I'm pleased to have another Zombie under my belt... But I wish that I hadn't had five Cheeses and four Xenowyrms disintegrate on me. Of all the ones to successfully revive, it had to be that one. Sigh...

Halloween day, around 2 AM.

 

Realized after checking DeviantArt that Dragon Cave still existed and I was about to miss an event (I had been on hiatus.)

 

Mini panic attack as I rush to Dragon Cave.

 

A little later, after collecting some Halloween dragons, I decided to review some descriptions that people put out for their dragons.

 

Huh? That's odd. They're all zombies.

 

Wait a moment.

 

I realized I could make a zombie dragon on Halloween! Genius!

 

I go to my scroll, and select one of my poor bolt dragons. They're all male and I figured I could spare one of my...5, maybe?

 

I kill one.

 

Click revive, cross my fingers...

 

Eastern dragon zombie on the first try.

 

Sadly, none of the other 5 attempts worked.

Is it two weeks yet since they died? The snazzy Zombie 'stones don't show up until two weeks after the dragon died - until then, they all show the standard "dead thing" 'stone.
