Posted October 31, 2019 I really don't get how we can make undead S1s - even my very last hatchlings that just died last night, made it to S2. I fogged them right after they hatched and each and every turned S2. How am I supposed to ever get all of the S1 Zombies?? Share this post Link to post

You have to have hatchlings with an absurdly low view count if you do the fog kill method. It's hard, but it can be done. The best way is if you have a hatchling that was a failed ND experiment. Of those, I did get 4 who died at S1. Those four were ones where I happened to be sitting at the computer at the moment they hatched. So yes, it is possible to fog-kill S1s, but you need to like babysit the egg and fog it the Second it hatches. Share this post Link to post

I've gotten a fairly large number of S1 zombie hatchies, none of them from frozen. My advice is that you can't ER them until they're 3 days, 20 hours at the most. (Without Incubating. Eggs that are Incubated take more views to hatch.) And you should fog them as soon as they hatch, especially if they're at or close to 3d20h, since with the lower-time eggs you have a greater margin of error. By waiting until they're at least 3d20h to ER them, I consistently get fodder that stays S1. Here's my zombie group, so you can see the sort of views you need. Posted November 1, 2019 3/11 all adults, will add later when we're back home on Sunday and I get back to my device. I'm almost done with my hatchie goal until next type is released, but I didn't manage to get enough fodder of it that would also die for today, I mean I had 3 but 2 of them are still alive... Also never have I had SO many dodges so far... Lost nearly all chances to try for the rarest types - despite having a few fodders each but eastern pygmy... Share this post Link to post

This year I didn't go for Zombie hatchies, but if you look at the top group of S1 hatchies here, you can see that they need to have very few views and particularly umique views, too: https://dragcave.net/group/10160 (the ones here were all created just by fogging quite them a while ago).
