CB Prizes: A User Guide

Hey, question!

 

I noticed on the Wiki that the tinsels (even the new ones) all have links and updated names. Will the same be done for shimmers? I don't know much about that thing, or who works on it, or whatever.

 

(I ask because I was curiously trying to see what combinations have been done with new prize breeding, and with how much success. It takes longer to type it in, and I'm feeling quite lazy!)

 

MisunderstoodDreamer, one of the admins there, did all of that work. not sure though, if/when he plans to do the same for shimmers. you may need to ask.

You have my massive amount of respect for doing all that. It was hard enough putting the lists of names in there.

Add Royal Crimsons to things that don't like to breed shinies even though it's been well over a year since they came out.

 

And most definitely, do not, DO NOT breed with nhiostryfes, they will give you absolutely nothing but nhiostryfes.

The mate is a HORSE. Which is another caveblocker. Not even another CAVEBLOCKER can win out on them yet, their breed game is still too strong.

Yeah I dont think so, I got a 2nd gen from undine, which the owner bred on first try.

It has not given me a single shimmer yet since November.

I breed weekly, but all i get are fail eggs and a lot of no interests.

You think Undies and Nhiostrife are bad? Try Seragammas, released May 28 2013. They breed no shinies, no uncommons, no commons, nothing but more Seragammas. I think it's glitch

Update on my results:

 

For bucks:

1. Refusal ~ Pebble ~ fertility used

2. No egg ~ Grn Copper ~ no fertility

3. Tinsel ~ Pebble ~ no fertility

4. Tinselkin ~ Falconiform ~ no fertility

5. Tinsel ~ Brn Copper ~ no fertility

 

For 2nd gen Reno:

1. No interest ~ Pebble ~ no fertility

2. No interest ~ (different) Pebble ~ no fertility

3. Tinsel ~ (another different) Pebble ~ no fertility

 

I'm sticking with no fertility.

I'm just amazed we managed to find 42/50 gold shimmers! Usually, golds are the hardest to find. And you're welcome. I'm still updating it as I find them but the chances of finding them now are getting slimmer and slimmer unless babies start showing up in hatcheries.

 

Sucks that everyone's having so much trouble with breeding. :/

Of course, she's a 4th gen and not particularly valuable, but all the same. I have not killed a single offspring from this pair. She really, truly did just give me my 7th gold shimmer in a row.

 

Has anyone else tried breeding to a tsunami yet? Maybe uncommons are the way to go.

I dunno about that....4 of my 6 second gen tinsels gave me prize eggs this week, which is definitely more than I usually get!

that's personal bias. I've had no real problems with breeding mine. (at least, not more than usual. REDs is not the best pairing and never has been...)

Actually I've found a pair of CB or their children posted around in the forum, so there's still hope

You (and everyone else) are welcome to keep on updating the Wikia and to PM me in case of any problem

 

A really kind person just PMed me about Prizes on the Wikia that I thought dead but instead their codes lost the capitals in some points when being added The lists have been fixed, thank you! :3

 

I never thought I could post in this thread before... sadly it's not because I have a CB Prize myself, but maybe one day...

Interestingly, it's still dead, a month later. I guess dead CB prizes don't disappear. Maybe TJ is waiting for the person to NOTICE, and request that it be brought back to life?

 

Pff I don't have a prize either, I just like bothering everyone. >>;

Cassares, too. I've yet to get anything but Cassare from Cassare. I really want to breed them to Zuko, but not until/unless I start seeing something other than Cassares being produced from them.

Personally, it makes me kind of mad that those prizes stay on scrolls of multi's or on a scroll where the player doesn't care enough to make sure it even hatched. I kind of find myself wishing TJ would reassign those prizes. Just take a new RNG from all the people who didn't win this year, or all the people who logged in that day if the raffle thing is gone, and send those prizes to new owners.

I have a 4th gen from a tsunami line and it does pretty good when I remember to breed it. Progeny

 

It's already bred two shimmers this year.

There's more prizes for sure that end up in limbo, if i'd have to guess I'd say that only 80% of winners pick their prizes up, which leaves us at somewhere around 25 prizes which never even got claimed.add to that 3-5 who died due to later imactivity and another 5-10 who ended up on a cheaters scroll and might “die“ eventually.

That gives me the tiniest sliver of hope that maybe by the time I get around to trying cassare with Zuko, the ratios might have changed JUST enough that I can get lucky and get a prize from him. I need to try to get a prize from undine, first, as I have an undine fail I need a mate for. That might be the end of my patience with commons.

We already have an (Abby) x Mint stair, a Dokdo Eastsea Korea x Mint stair, an Erno x Mint stair, a Crouching Tiger x Mint stair, a (Dalek) x Mint stair, a (glory) x Mint stair, a Polar Flame x Mint stair, a Se 7 en x Mint stair

 

A spiral wouldn't be bad, since there are none yet and Mints aren't dismorphic
