Posted June 29, 2015 These are the most gorgeous lindwurms I've ever seen, and we haven't even seen the adults yet. I'm especially fond of the Forest ones, although the Desert and Jungle ones look great to me too. I'm not sure these are lindworms, beings they have two limbs...these have none at all... Posted June 29, 2015 My Desert hatched, and I've snagged a new Alpine. In another hour I'll be able to get another. Share this post Link to post

Posted June 29, 2015 (edited) Okay, since I'm bored and have time to kill, here is a list of observations and physical characteristics of each hatchling. Alpine: •Dark blue body. •Golden underbelly. •Hatchling appears more sturdy than the others. •Spiky appearance, spikes are on the head, back, and underbelly. •Golden eyes. Coast: •Light pink main body. •Light blue underbelly and dorsal stripe. •Wing-like growth on the back. •More elegant looking head spikes. •Light blue eyes. Forest: •Dark cyan body. •Build is heavier appearing. •Back appears to have armour. •Spikier head, seems larger than the others. •Light cyan eyes. Desert: •Bright orange body. •Headspikes are more noticeable. •Back has a row of spines. •Body appears to have two front legs, they seem quite small and weak. •Appears to have white eyes. Jungle: •Dark green body. •Light yellow/green underbelly. •Very smooth head. •Vines and leaves on back. •Yellow eyes. Volcano: •Greyish brown body. •Orange underbelly. •Orange spots on the back, extending to the end of the tail. •Rock like formations on the underbelly and back. •Orange eyes. None of these are official, these are just what I can see of them, if I'm making any mistakes or you want me to add/remove something, please tell me! Posted June 29, 2015 I'm gonna wait until my first batch is about to gender before I work on the second batch. If I grab a second set right away and incubate them, they'll hatch at around the same time the hatchies gender, so I won't have time to influence them I'm hoping that my luck with influence is favorable, so I can have a breeding pair of every color. Lol I got impatient and grabbed my second set already. I'll just fog them and make sure they don't hatch until I know what to influence them. Now I shall just wait for TJ's to grow up. Posted June 29, 2015 Have both batches on my scroll now. All of them properly influenced and fogged to be safe while I'm sleeping. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 29, 2015 My volcano hatched! Grabbed the last egg I need- desert. After the others hatch I'm going to hoard forest. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 29, 2015 I have to put way more effort into not catching only coast eggs than I should. o-o Share this post Link to post

ETA: Also after blowing up the orange one on my comp, I think they just have light orange eyes. Eye color matches the belly color/accents, maybe? Posted June 29, 2015 I love them all~ I'll need 4 pairs of each variant for sure. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 29, 2015 I wonder how adults would look like, it would be very nice if they end up being oriental dragons. Share this post Link to post
Posted June 29, 2015 Quick question: Do eggs take longer to hatch if you just spam 'em with views right when they hit 4 days? Share this post Link to post
Posted June 29, 2015 (edited) Quick question: Do eggs take longer to hatch if you just spam 'em with views right when they hit 4 days? I think so, yeah. I saw something a while back about how eggs hatch faster if you give them views spaced out over a day or two rather than all at once. But I can't find it or think of where I saw it off the top of my head... still, that seems to hold true. My eggs hatch much easier if I put them in hatcheries for a while instead of spamming them when they hit below 4 days. Edited June 29, 2015 by silver_chan Share this post Link to post
Posted June 29, 2015 (edited) I guess I don't understand the question, silly as I am. As far as I see it, if you wait until the 4d mark to hatch your dragons, then it'll take them two (or three) days plus however long you need to hatch them for them to hatch. On the other hand, if you give them enough views steadily, it'll take them two (or three) days, with no extra time. Edited June 29, 2015 by pinkgothic Share this post Link to post
Posted June 29, 2015 Just grabbed my second batch- I influenced all the first ones male (excepting the pair I managed to get), so this batch is gonna be all female. I still had room for extras, so I grabbed a desert and coast variant who're gonna end up frozen. The plan is to get a full set of gendered adults, frozen first stage hatchies, and frozen second stage hatchies, but I may be a bit too lazy for that ;u; Share this post Link to post
