WHY ON EARTH do kids in my class have to waste everyone's time when they cannot learn the SIMPLE FACT that seasons DO NOT exist because the earth is closer to the sun?

My classmates never shut up when we're taking a test. After a year, I'm used to them talking all the time during it, but it can be harder to concentrate. And teachers do absolutely nothing about it, which makes the issue much more frustrating than it should be. I mean, exams are already stressful, right?

So I spend my money, the VERY LITTLE money that I have... to buy this adorable hat from the Zoo as a little souvenir. It was the last one on the shelf, and it was a little expensive, but I saved a little money from lunch yesterday, you said that while it was cute it just wasn't your taste.

Apparently my political views make me unintelligent and a bigot in every possible scenario. But I still am going to stand by what I believe no matter what anyone says. I refuse to live in a society where I have to believe what everyone else believes just because their opinion says that it is the right belief. This is getting out of hand, and I can honestly say I hate politics. But I am still going to do my best to vote for who I think is going to best run this country. That's all anyone can do.

 

I am so sick and tired of people telling me what I should like, what I should believe, and when I refuse, they call me names and tell me I'm a moron. It infuriates me mostly because I hate being called stupid. I usually just keep my mouth shut and ignore, but I have to let off steam. I dealt with my being told what to believe all through elementary, middle, and high school, and I didn't give in then; I won't give in now because I have my OWN OPINIONS.

 

And I for one do not call anyone a "moron" for voting for someone else. I tell them I disagree with them and why. I don't threaten to stop being friends with them over something absolutely dumb. I don't want to be afraid to lose my friends every day if I tell them who I am voting for. /endrant

 

ALSO Additional piece of rant: "You believe x so you automatically also believe y" is a slippery slope. Sorry, it is. You can't jump to that conclusion.

Seriously Dad, shut the up. Why do I have to feel like a criminal just for wanting to go to the library? Why do you always make it seem like I do nothing around the house? Why am I not doing outside yard work? Um, maybe it's because it feels like ****ing 105 out there?! Just because you work out in the heat for your job doesn't mean everyone else can. You've got a permanent tan, I'm white as a sheet. I'm not going to risk burning myself and passing out from heat exhaustion just because you want some branches trimmed or weeds pulled.

 

And then blaming me for the actions of my niece when she decides to be lazy? Um, excuse me, what?! I'm not the one who bought her a roku and TV in her room. I'm not the one who lets her spend all day online, hell I haven't seen her once this year! How can you justify blaming her laziness on me?! Maybe if her grandfather would pay more attention to her instead of going to the casino every time he goes down there she wouldn't be like that! Sure, it's not just you, but it's part of the problem.

 

Just because you're used to something doesn't mean other people are. Back off! You're causing me far more harm than good. Excuse me for having anxiety problems and depression. Your constant yelling and putting me down all the time sure as hell doesn't help. Just back off and leave me alone!

Right, I realise that flower names and plant identification isn't exactly "the cool thing" to know right now, but do you seriously mean that people see these females named "Primula", "Rose", "Belladonna" and "Lobelia" and don't realise that they are named after flowers? And btw, Primrose isn't actually a rose.

Okay so this cold snap has been the worst for my anatomical collection. After all the near-freezing nights, rain, rain, more rain and the hailstorms from a couple days ago, I can't say I'm surprised to find several dead dermestid beetles, specimens taking so long to decompose the birds' hyoids break before they even come clear of flesh and some just being outright lost in the weeds. I'm glad I've been keeping the best specimens in the freezer for drier weather. God I wish I could have an indoor setup in the garage or something, find someplace that can grant me the start to a dermestid beetle colony so the elements don't bother them and the smell of decomposition doesn't risk irking others. But NO of course the fact that I live in Australia is gonna make it super-hard to obtain ANYTHING related to this field.

 

I'd better get at least a FEW skeletons articulated this year >_<

My phone shut off right in the middle of watching the cutest guy playing guitar on periscope and I'm so frustrated because it takes 20+ mins to turn back on. It's ridiculous.
