Of course, you can't help but think that something's off. None of the staff are cheerful in the slightest, the streets are unwashed, the rides are barely functional, and the people in the mascot costumes seem to be staying uncomfortably close to the children.

And then you realize that Disnay land is most definitely not Disney land.
