Orange Fragrance has liked oranges since she was a hatchling. Perhaps it's because they both have the same shade of orange, but only Orange Fragrance knows its because of an orange's smell. Orange has that sweet, refreshing, and calming scent, making Orange Fragrance fall in love with it the first time she peeled an orange.

Now Orange Fragrance is orange crazy. Her cave is filled with oranges, and she only eats other food when she doesn't have enough oranges. Who knows, she might try to invent a magic orange one day!

Perhaps she likes to create perfume, and because she's a Magi, maybe they have magical properties?

Snowflakeflight's favorite time to fly is during a blizzard. She loves the sensation of the wind on her wings and the snowflakes brushing over her scales. Now that she's grown, this behavior is tolerated, but as a youngster her owner was constantly worried that she'd get herself seriously injured pulling such stunts in bad weather. She definitely could be considered an 'adrenaline junkie'.

Maybe she was injured somehow, and now she is unable to fly well?

Most Two-Headed dragons have a different personality for each head, but this dragoness takes that quality to the extreme. The left head is very sweet-natured and kind, while the right is rather rude and shuns others. Thankfully the left head does have some friends who know to look past her other head's roughness.

EchoesOfThePast - write that description! Are those echoes good memories of a distant past, or ghosts haunting him for the errors of his youth?

 

I still owed a description from a long time ago, but here it is:

Although friendly to both humans and other dragons Harailt prefers spending his time alone, seated on a rocky outcrop overseeing a deep loch in the highlands of Alba. Even though the landscape around is dramatic, jagged rocks protruding from the heather-covered mountainside, Harailt barely ever seems to glance away from the loch. Eyes unfocussed, staring into the murky depths below, the world around him seems to pass by unnoticed. The other Royal Blues will often come up to him to talk or ask him for advise as he is both wise and kind, but for all the kindness with which he treats them they can also sense he wants nothing more than being alone. One of the bolder youngsters ventured to ask why the loch fascinates him so much, but the answer was that it is not the loch which keeps Harailt there, but a memory from times long gone.

 

When this Guardian hatched in a basket in front of a warm fireplace, she instinctively called out for her mother with a series of loud squeaks, but received no reply. Puzzled and sad, the wee hatchling clambered out of the basket and set out to find her family. As she wandered into the farmyard, she found herself face to face with... a cow. Like many other species, young dragons imprint on the first living thing they see. Instinctively assuming it to be her mother, she happily clambered all over the long-haired ruddy brown bovine. When her owner came back later that day and tried to take her back inside, young Cow just wriggled and squealed for her 'mother', forcing Mirhana to leave her with the cattle instead.

Although in adulthood she knows she is a dragon, not a cow, Highland Cow still doesn't mix much with other dragons but watches over her owner's livestock instead. This may have to do with extensive bullying from other hatchlings over her unfortunate mistake earlier in life.

Highland Cow - Write that description!

 

Does she appreciate her name, or do mean dragons like to tease her for being named after livestock?

During the day, this dragon hides deep in his quarters in his owner's cave, each head sleeping and dreaming of things that have happened in the past (the right head) or will happen in the future (the left head). At night he emerges to study Valkemare's twin moons (each head has a particular favorite) and the pattern of stars and uses them to interpret his dreams. His left head is the kinder one, if he dreams of a bad omen he tries to let those who would be affected know that something is coming, while his right head is more of a pessimist who figures it ought to be "Every dragon for themselves." Thanks to a bit of Gilded Bloodscale in his ancestry, he is quite picky about how his lair is organized, and loves exchanging riddles and wordplay with the other nocturnal dragons in his cave.

An often friendly and talkative dragon, EchoesOfThePast loves to meet new people and have a random chat with them. He is sometimes known to help out in the re-organization of the grand archives post-vandalization. Other times, the's patching up the stages for the musical dragons in the cave territory or even helping out local villagers in his free time.

However, he is a much different dragon by nightfall. He's constantly fearful and paranoid, as ghosts haunt Echoes quite a bit from some rather terrible accidents in the unfortunate dragon's past. Many have heard him seemingly scream at nothing at random intervals of the night and often become concerned that he's being tortured by something. He tried talking to some of the White Dragons Kim knows to see if he can be rid of them. However, they say that he's stuck with the ghosts until he himself can find a way to do away them.

A gentle and very curious dragon, OceanicSomnambulist is a therapist by day and, as her name states, a somnambulist by night.

Sleepwalking tends to be a very dangerous thing for dragons that live near the ocean, especially if they live off cliffs like Oceanic does. There have been many of calls for Kim's White Dragons to rush immediately to the area whenever someone sees Oceanic in her somnambulist state. In fact, Kim often sends at least one of them out to Oceanic's home to make sure she doesn't hurt herself while sleeping.

While she's awake, she often sees her clients around the cave territory and the shores she calls home. With the fact that she tends to act somewhat motherly towards her clients, some say that she's an excellent therapist for the young.

Dual-Gifted Nevermore - Write that description! What are her gifts? Do these gifts come with a burden? How does she, as a strict herbivore, feel about her father's way of feeding, or does she take more after her father than she feels comfortable with?

 

Tour Guide has an approved description, I'll take the first dragon on my scroll that doesn't have a description yet Coisinn.

When Coisinn chose Connadh as her mate, there was a lot of frowning and gossiping about her choice. How she could prefer such a weak coward hiding deep in the cave with the hatchlings over the many strong warriors the clan had to offer her was a mystery, particularly to those strong warriors themselves. Many assume she will grow bored soon enough and pursue her nonetheless, Connsaidh most of all. For Coisinn this brings a lot of inner conflicts: she loves the little gifts and attentions she receives and secretly feels she deserves them in a way, but she also loves her simple Connadh deeply and would never leave him for another male.

 

AAAAAH A MOUSE:

The problem with being a dragon made of savoury cheese is that there are various creatures constantly trying to eat you, mice being the primary predator. This dragon and his friends have developed a simple and effective solution for that: a gigantic fly swatter. AAAAAAAH A MOUSE searches the cave for his arch enemy, then screams "aaaaaah a mouse!" to attract their enemy's attention. The mouse should then run after the bait, and as soon as the bait has passed the giant fly swatter is activated to help the mouse to the happy hunting-grounds. That is, at least, their theory. In practice, the mice generally just hide in some tiny nooks or crannies the moment AAAAAAAH A MOUSE starts screaming.

AAAAAAAH A MOUSE - Write that description!

Even though this dragon hatched in springtime, he much prefers wintertime and the Christmas season in particular. As a youngster, his owner taught him all the holiday carols she knew, and to this day he loves to sing them, even out of season, much to the annoyance of some of his cavemates. Sometimes each head will be singing a different tune, which is.. interesting to listen to.

Shadowytea - Write that description!

A rather mysterious yet curious dragon, Dual-Gifted Nevermore is often said to leave random gifts to people. However, these gifts have a small set of requirements unique to each gift and individual and they always seem to end with the word "Nevermore".

She also has a peculiar vocal tick that occurs whenever someone asks her a question. Her first response to all the questions would be "Nevermore". Afterward, she would answer the question normally as if nothing happened.

When she heard about her father's kind and their feeding habits, she first considered it to be quite morbid. However, she figures that it is what it is and doesn't let it bother her. However, she also does take after her father in that she also can pull off a "grave face" when she is threatened.

Like other Black Teas in his cave, this dragon loves entertaining other dragons (be they his cavemates or visitors) by hosting elegant gatherings and serving various kinds of tea and coffee. Unlike the other Black Teas, his events are always at night and always dimly lit, and some attendees have reported seeing strange, sinister goings-on out on the fringes of those assembled. Shadowytea denies such claims, and insists that the dimness is simply to provide a relaxing, intimate atmosphere for his guests.

Petitefoot - write that description! Suggestion: to compensate for her less than impressive size, she crafts an enormous foot out of twigs and branches and leaves large footprints in the ground, leading humans to believe there is a mysterious ape-like monster living in the forest.

 

LargeBoldDragon

LargeBoldDragon was a gift from "little black dog". She's not sure how a little black dog could have been able to carry around a sizeable Guardian egg, but doesn't dare ask her owner about it for fear of seeming stupid. She's sure her egg must have been pretty big, as even as a hatchling she was easily the largest Guardian around. Before she'd even grown her wings she could hardly fit through the doorposts of her owner's cottage or would bump her head on the low ceiling, and when she tried to squeeze through the front door and took the entire door post with her, her owner banished her from the house altogether. LBD, as she's known for short, now lives with a clan of  guardians and Silvers deeper up in the Highlands and spends her time dreaming of a handsome Silver mate for herself and hoping her owner will build a bigger house someday.

With an ardor of change, this dragon helps bring the fall season spirit. She expresses the delight and mercuriality of the change of seasons. Autumnal Ardor is seen by some dragons to lead into a harsh cold winter, but with her the autumn is a time to delight in and say farewell to the hot summer.

Though she is just a plain Pygmy, this dragoness is close friends with the Misfit Pygmies in her cave and acts a lot like one. Her favorite trick to pull is where she uses a large false foot constructed of branches, mud, and stones to leave trails of footprints in strange places, causing many of her cavemates and nearby humans to believe in the existence of a mysterious ape-like creature called Largetoe.

A very chatty yet temperamental dragon, Oldbag is often seen guarding the cave from a few constant youthful pranksters that keep getting into the archives.

She isn't too fond of those younger than her by a generation or so, nor does she have the patience to deal with them. She often calls them "whippersnappers" and often regards them as trouble.

However, once someone gets her to talking, it's impossible to get her to shut up. Especially since she often goes into tangents about the past or some other subjects. While she's talking, it isn't a good idea to make her mad, otherwise she'd go into a non-stop ranting phase with some added earthquakes that Kim and the other residents have to wind up dealing with.

A solemn hatchling, MorphogeneticSorrow is often said to project a beautiful yet sad song whenever someone is close by.

He never knew of his original life before being transformed into a Vampire, as he was still only an egg at the time. He often wishes to play with the other hatchlings within the cave territory, but most of them shun him or run away from him. He often finds a way to keep himself entertained, whether it be through puzzle-solving or possibly going to a play with one of the older dragons in the cave.

He doesn't really know why the other hatchlings don't like him, and he would often blame it on himself for being a Vampire. Sadly, being a Vampire is all he knew in his life. Most of the time, he is seen lying by himself near the edge of his favorite pond during the night, staring at the stars.

Well That Was Awkward - write that description! Perhaps his name has something to do with the fact that Purples were once "believed" to be female-only? Or perhaps not, who knows! whoops, placeholder!

 

Black Christmas Spirit - write that description! Perhaps she leaned a thing or two from her father? Or maybe she didn't, but we will see!

 

I only have like one dragon with an approved description, CELESTEON, and my pending descriptions are: Salmacis and Hermaphroditos

 

Accepting suggestions, unless they break my personal head canon. You wont know till you say so though! I have a lot of dragons that need descriptions, but thinking of ideas is harrrd!

An incredibly shy dragon, Yume loves nothing more than to lurk around the CPA's castle. Even though she would also like to interact with the members of the group, she tends to just stay on the sidelines and watch. Because of this, her main, and possibly only, friend is the Phantom that also haunts the place.

Whenever someone does speak to her, she tends to become very nervous and has a rather quiet voice when telepathically communicating with anyone.

Outside the CPA castle grounds, Yume is rarely seen or heard from by most of the residents of the cave. Those that have seen her claim that she's often helping out with the musicians or other performing dragons plan their current routes and tourings. Others claim she tends to some of Andy's many adopted hatchlings or that she's gearing up to meet with her friend at the castle once again.
