Posted September 11, 2016 This is a summed up version, 13 times almost the same with no sucess is a bti boring Reporting Zombification Attempt Breed/type: western, wingless, levitian, wyvern sprites all in all 11 hatchies Age: hatchling Kill date: 06.Sep.2016 Kill time (ET): unkown (ran out of time) Revive date: 11.Sep.2016 Revive time (ET): between 3:10 and 3:17am cave time Zombies visible: yes Result: disintegration Reporting Zombification Attempt Breed/type: BBW, ridgewing Age: hatchling Kill date: 06.Sep.2016 Kill time (ET): unkown (ran out of time) Revive date: 11.Sep.2016 Revive time (ET): between 3:10 and 3:17am cave time Zombies visible: yesKill date: 06.Sep.2016 Result: revival Dragon link: ridgewing and BBW Share this post Link to post
Posted September 13, 2016 I had 2 hatchies die (GMt+1 time) yesterday when Zombies were invisible, but ofc I revived when Zombies were visible, again only desintegrations... so far I've tried at least 10 adults and 5-10 hatchies(I lost track of things by now), not a single zombie. Today I'm killing more adults just I don't know... does it now matter when the dragon died too? Becuase I'm assuming it never did when zombies could be made only if revived on Halloween but could die anytime up to 2 weeks before Halloween... Did it change maybe and now if the fodder dies when Zombies are invisible my chances are lower than if it died when Zombies are visible? Share this post Link to post
Posted September 14, 2016 Reporting Zombification Attempt Breed/type: brimstone Age: hatchling Kill date: Sep 13 Kill time (ET): don't know Revive date: Sep 14 Revive time (ET): 1:15 am Zombies visible: yes Result: revival Dragon link: http://dragcave.net/view/Q9qho The hatchling automatically had 2 days added to her timer. Hiding and letting a hatchling die again probably won't make the "Revive" option available a second time. Has anyone experimented with that? Share this post Link to post
Posted September 14, 2016 I'm keeping my own log here, no success so far 29-aug-2016 Zombie state: visible First attempt: Deep sea (disintegration) Second attempt: Red finned tidal (dodged) Third attempt: falconiform (dodged) Fourth attempt: falconiform (disintegration) 30-aug-2016 Zombie state: visible First attempt: Silver (dodged) Second attempt: silver (dodged) Third attempt: shimmer(dodged) Fourth attempt: shimmer(disintegration) Fifth attempt: shimmer(dodged) Sixth attempt: shimmer(dodged) Seventh attempt: shimmer(disintegration) Eighth attempt: shimmer(dodged) Ninth attempt: shimmer(disintegration) 10-Sep-2016 Zombie state: visible First attempt (fogging): Stripe river hatchling s2 (disintegration) 11-Sep-2016 Zombie state: visible First attempt (fogging): Deep sea hatchling s2 (disintegration) 14-Sep-2016 Zombie state: visible First attempt: Falconiform (disintegration) Second attempt: red finned tidal (disintegration) Third attempt: cheese (disintegration) Fourth attempt: Water (dodged) Fifth attempt: Water (disintegration) Sixth attempt: Water (dodged) Seventh attempt: Water (disintegration) Stats so far: Zombie attempts via kill action: Success 0/15 Failure 15/15 Zombie attempts via fogging: Success 0/2 Failure 2/2 Total Success: 0/17 Total losses: 17/17 Updated stats. And I am starting to think the zombie update was kind of useless given the minuscule success. I really hope there will be better chance on halloween because I want to stop trying after one or two cycles. It's a total waste of perfectly good dragons and the losses are far greater than the gain. Really too frustrating and boring. :/ Share this post Link to post
Posted September 14, 2016 The hatchling automatically had 2 days added to her timer. Hiding and letting a hatchling die again probably won't make the "Revive" option available a second time. Has anyone experimented with that? Revival only works once per dragon - period. How it dies each time doesn't change that, sadly. Share this post Link to post
Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) I've made 18 attempts so far (all when zombies were visible) 15 gendered hatchlings that ran out of time : 12 disintegrated, 3 successful zombies linked below 2 killed adults: 2 disintegrated 1 killed ungendered hatchling: 1 disintegrated So total success rate is 3/18 = ~17% success when zombies are visible I won't link all the failures, but you can see them on my scroll if you want. Successful zombies: Wingless female hatchling Wingless male hatchling Seaserpent female hatchling Updating my attempts since those listed above: 24 attempts (mostly hatchlings that were fogged and ran out of time, but a few killed adults as well): 19 dead 3 revivals 2 zombies New zombies: Female wyvern hatchling Male eastern hatchling (I'll add them to the spreadsheet now as well). Total stats: 42 attempts (34 dead, 3 revivals, 5 zombies) 5/42=12% zombification rate NOTE: all attempts when zombies visible Edited September 14, 2016 by kiranat Share this post Link to post
Posted September 14, 2016 General stats: 33 hatchie attempts: 2 Zombies 15 adult attempts: 0 Zombies Zombies were visible ofc. So...2 zombies for 48 attempts. I think I'll take a break till Halloween. Share this post Link to post
Posted September 15, 2016 Revival only works once per dragon - period. How it dies each time doesn't change that, sadly. Great to know, thanks! Of the five killed dragons this round: Two-finned bluna adult: disintegrated Water adult: success! http://dragcave.net/view/z9xQ4 Magelight pygmy wyvern hatchling: disintegrated Avatar of destruction hatchling: disintegrated Undine hatchling: disintegrated 1/5 ain't bad when my previous 15+ attempts failed. Posted September 17, 2016 Two kills and two disintegration at 1:17am, zombies visible. I would love to complain about the insanely-low success rate since this change, but I have gotten one hatchling and one adult since the change, and only had one ever before then. Share this post Link to post

Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) I just tried to kill a couple dragons but they both died and disintegrated. I don't have any more fodder just now so I'll have to hold off until I manage to build up some more! Edited September 17, 2016 by silver_chan Share this post Link to post
Posted September 17, 2016 (edited) FINALLY I succeeded in getting my 1st Zombie ever... It's taking loads of dragons really... I got lost how many disintegrates I got so far... It was my 1st attempt today, the other one (adult CB Nocturne, killed just before the attempt) disintegrated. Eastern s2 made of CB Striped River, revived at about 5:44am DC time; my Eastern S2 (added to the spreadsheet) Edited September 17, 2016 by VixenDra Share this post Link to post

Posted September 17, 2016 They don't get their "proper" tombstone until 2 weeks after death. Ooh! I see, thank you for explaining that! I was a bit concerned that my Volcano zombie had a plain tombstone like it had been killed and not reanimated. That does make sense though (and now that two weeks have passed it is indeed the correct tombstone.) Share this post Link to post
