Posted April 4, 2017 So I was going to announce an event for this week, but then I realized that having no concept of days of the week right now kinda messed me up, as an event now would mean Monday or Tuesday is the main breeding day. The end of the week/weekend is probably overall better, though, so I guess we're gonna be breeding a little later. D| @Nikki_Of_The_Night - o: Yeah, I barely plan ahead to the next event; I am so not organized enough to plan out a whole year! Sorry. xP I think that's fine. Easter's the 16th and there's gonna be more site traffic because of the festival of eggs. Maybe it can be scheduled in a way to coincide? Posted April 6, 2017 Can I get a reminder too? ;3 Also maybe you already have something in kind, but what if the theme was pretty lined dragons with the prettiest eggs? So you collect the pretty eggs and the "candy" inside is a dragon with a lovely lineage! Obviously everyone's idea of "prettiest egg" will vary (heck I'm just one person and had trouble parting down the list!), but some ideas: - Avatar - Diamondwing - Nexus - Soulpeace - Xeno Other nice eggs: - Aeon - Azure - Black Tea - Fire Gem - Gemshard - Golden Wyvern - Honey Drake - Striped Or, y'know, shiny eggs: - Gold - Silver - Tinse - Shimmer Share this post Link to post

Posted April 6, 2017 (edited) Obviously everyone's idea of "prettiest egg" will vary (heck I'm just one person and had trouble parting down the list!), but some ideas: Yeah, pretty is very subjective. We could do breeds that all share a key word either in their names or egg descriptions. So, say we chose to do the word, 'Bright'. That can work with Arias, Bright-Breasted Wyverns, Crismon Flare Pygmy, Flamingos, pinks, tangars, Lumina, morphodrakes, nhiostrifes, red-finned tidals, spitfires, stripes, greenwings, sunrise/sunset. We don't necessarily have to do that list. In the dragon wiki egg page you can ctrl/cmd+F to search through words. 'Color', 'Shine', 'Glow' also show up a lot. Maybe it can be announced the day-of or the day-before and whoever has things off cooldown can just breed that day? It doesn't need to be as big of an event as the others. The AP is getting a teeeny bit high again and maybe I'm spoiled, but I'd like some more lower timed eggs again I don't really want to wait until next week, but I can't make a dent on my own. I also had no idea how many incubates I could use in a day with the AP incuhatchable for so long, lol -- so maybe a second BSA breeding? After the BSA event was over, I ran out of incubates, but found very few reds in the AP. I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation. Share this post Link to post

Everyone breed everything, as much as possible. If it's a nice enough lineage (or just a messy rare that's good for freezing, like gold/silver/copper/xenos/prizes), or has alts (undine/vine/black), or whatever. Please leave this thread to larger, more organized events. ^^ You can do mini-events in the Who keeps massbreeding thread. I did ask in that thread if people wanted a dedicated thread to organize mini-massbreeds and spur-of-the-moment breedings but I didn't get any responses (well, maybe one?), so I took that to mean people were fine just doing that in that thread itself and didn't want a new thread. ^^ Share this post Link to post

Part of the simple joy of Easter is hunting for eggs and cracking them open for that sweet treat inside. This year on DC, our sweet will be beautiful lineages, a surprise until users pick up the eggs on the AP and check their lines. Side days will be: the Monday and Tuesday after Easter, if you cannot join us on Easter. Don't forget, there's the annual Festival of Eggs starting Sunday that may run for a few days.
