Also, I went back to the reindeer part since someone said the cat was gone from the ledge on the last page. (I also wanted an excuse to redo the ice puzzle correctly, since I unknowingly did the 'cheat' the first time-- oops!)

In any case, the cat was still there, but it seems it moves a little further to the left sometimes.

Interesting. I just went back there and watched the cave entrance for a while, but in my game, the cat is no longer there!

Bet it disappeared into that cave and we will have to rescue it.

 

ETA: Dr Bashir, I presume?

Opposites do seem to be an issue today! On a couple of clicks with my arrow key, when I clicked down, my character headed up!

I built the snowman a couple of hours earlier, without knowing about the nice/naughty glitch, and had no problems giving the watch back with the correct option. (Did have a different glitch, but that was more annoying than game-breaking.)

I just did the event now. Gave the watch, he was happy and it's gone from my inventory.Also my tree looks healthy. So I guess the glitch was either fixed or I just got lucky

AFAIK, the glitch has been fixed, so giving the watch should be the nice option.

 

I had the same issue with my PC turning this way and that, no matter which arrow key I hit. Better be super careful while moving those snowballs.

That glitch is fixed I gave him the pocket watch and he spun in joy and it is now gone from my inventory.

@TempestSea: No, it's not over yet, there are 12 days total, today is day 8! Try entering your house and going out again? If that doesn't work, try refreshing/restarting the game and going into your house.

 

@purplehaze: Seems you're one of the few persons who are stuck with the naughty option, here's what Odeen posted about it:

Unfortunately, there are probably a very small number of people whose games loaded prior to the text mismatch bug fix but who also finished the level after the conscience clear (without refreshing in the middle) whose games might still have expressed the original bug and given them a naughty hit for choosing the nice option. These people would not have had their naughtiness reset. Fortunately, a single day of naughtiness should not affect the outcome of your game.

Man I messed up so bad. I may not get a blue winged Solstice AGAIN after the one I had was ripped away last year.

Weird thing... I did today's task; made the snowman and returned the pocket watch. My tree is healthy as always.

Yet, I went exploring in the mountains again, found the watch again. Going back south Vala is still there and seems a bit downtrodden about failing to build a snowman, but the snowman I built earlier is still there and my tree's still healthy. There are no more snowballs to make another snowman.

 

So... Vala says he can't make a snowman, but the snowman is still there, and I've got another gold pocket watch in my backpack and a healthy tree at home.

 

I guess there's nothing to complain about, but it bothers me that Vala still seems sad and I've still got the pocket watch.

Yup, that happened to me too! It seems fine, as far as I can tell. A glitch, perhaps, but an insignificant one, it seems.

@Danny - pretty sure that's something that isn't intended, like the missing rock on the ice pond, and should be fixed. While it may save some people time/frustration, not the point of the game and thus not what TJ/the spriters intended or want being shared. You might want to PM Birdz/Odeen, but I don't think they will want it posted here.

 

Edit: Although, now that I think about it, not sure how you can really prevent that... Doesn't the dirt prevent that?
