Posted May 22, 2014 It's my birthday today and I was kind of hoping that the DC birthday would be a several-day-thing like last year with new dragons to catch from the cave. Guess it's not this year. Posted May 22, 2014 (edited) Many of us have been here a few years, it took along time to get GON's. I froze one of mine because that's what I do, never expected them to be able to breed. The point is why should it be easier for members that have not been here as long as others? By the way I was not able to summon as expected, it took me a at least a year last time, Firstly, the increase chance doesn't only benefit newbies. It benefits EVERY member who doesn't collect all of three GoN, including a lot old members. Secondly, I don't think many newbies want desperately that it's easier for them to summon a GoN. Actually many of them, including me, think the update of GoN is great, just not proper for DC bithday. If the chance of summoning doesn't increase, we will enjoy this update too, if it's a monthly release. And this is not blaming TJ, or anyone. It's just a suggestion, or reflection of members' feelings. I appreciate all the things that TJ contributes, expecially for DC is a free game. But this doesn't mean everything he did is perfect. That's why we have suggestion thread. But I also do agree that there're too much complains appearing in every release and every update, which makes the real problem not easy to show up. Somebody posted earlier in the thread that their Frill and GoN rejected each other, so I think it's assumed right now that they won't produce offspring. That does remain to be confirmed, though! Posted May 22, 2014 (edited) GoNs are a long term goal, but if these Avatars are breedable I predict longer gens (3-4) will be dirt common in a few weeks. I'm starting to wonder if that means I was just unlucky or if Pinks don't have an elemental type (...yet? *looks hopeful* It was a pretty pairing, I thought...) Posted May 22, 2014 I bred all my trios to the AP, so in in time there should be 6 Magmas, 7 Ices and (only ) 4 Thunders floating about, and also two Tinsels... I got 5 refusals in a row from my Magmas, a total of 12 refusals over all Trios. I am really getting the impression that Holidays have a much higher refusal chance than normal breeds outside of their seasons. (I bred 28 Magmas, 33 Ices and 30 Thunders.)
