Posted March 30, 2014 I am encouraged by that Ember from Blacktip x Ember. It may mean there is hope for a lineage that I have been attempting with Flamingo x Blacktip. I have been trying 4 pairs since November and this x 4 is what I have to show for it. Please do NOT try to breed me one. I know your intentions would be good, but that would just really make me furious if someone else could get one on the first try and I have tried this long. Mine will eventually give me what I seek. Posted March 30, 2014 Woo... |D Did a clean sweep of my original post with all of my lineage ideas. I had forgotten that one of my CB pairs in my first line had rejected each other .-. So, I bred a CB pair that had formerly given me the wrong breed on the first go and they gave me another wrong breed |D Anyone can have it if they'd like. It almost seems like everything looks good together once it's in a proper lineage, even if they don't when you just look at a pair. Posted April 3, 2014 Finally got around to breeding the results of my 2 pygmy lineages together. They liked each other and gave me this little Pygmy. Posted April 3, 2014 (edited) Congrats on all the finished projects and a very pretty 5th gen, too! I was having dismal breeding luck, mostly because everything was still on cool-down that didn't cooperate last time, so I figured out a new project. I love the way pillows look with Royal Crimson, and thought to myself I needed to just do a lineage. So I obligingly picked a 3rd dragon, which might give me fits - red nebula So, Pillow x Red Nebula plus Royal Crimson x Pillow. If it gives me too much trouble, I'll sub Royal Blue, but I won't like it as much with the Pillows and will then have to do another subbing something else for the Pillow. White, maybe, I like whites Or Ember, which is pretty far from white All of these were already on my scroll, and the pair #2 that gave me the Nebula already replaced the original pair. (which just made me realize I put the lineages in the wrong lines and have to go back and edit ) I got the first 2 on their first try, then the next 2 breedings gave me the same as the first two and I got worried, so tried with a different pair. So i'll call out a major progress! I'm kind of sorry for my original breeding pair for missing their chance in beeing part of the lineage...but, alas, they had their chance.... I know that genetics are tricky, and that there are, actually people who will only ever produce male or female based upon their dna. I really think some dragons are like that in which breed they'll produce. then there are the ones I've seen on the EG thread, where there are 15 or 20 of one breed and then aha! the other one.
