Wes smiled as Kaylee came with them. He felt like they were similar, at least so far. The interesting thing would to see how she fought. He knew that everyone would probably have their own special fighting style, and it really showed off how people take risks and plan things. Oh, and he wanted to see everyone's fiend, too. He wondered how they would react to his, since Torn was...well...normal. Or as normal as a fiend could be. He fidgeted with his hat as they spoke to Rosa. Ahh, she was nice. Maybe if he ever needed to talk something over with someone, he could go see her. He would keep that in mind, since he already seemed to be going a little too far with Ceil. Or maybe it was the other way around. He shrugged. If he's gonna treat me like dirt, I'll treat him like dirt. Only fair. Wes reached the gate and, sure enough, there was Ceil.

"So...what's the drill?" he called out to him.

((Oh, Fortune, I don't really get how the fighting works. Say if...I dunno...someone's fiend gets eaten. Would the summoner then feel like he/she is being eaten and suddenly get bite marks?))

((Yes they would.

Although as a rule physical attacks do less damage than magical ones. Say you came across a Tiger like monster and it took a swipe at your Fiend's front leg. The Summoner bound to that Fiend would get nothing more than a cat scratch on their arm.

However, if a monster attacks a human directly, either a normal human or a Summoner, the attack would do a lot more damage and they would end up with a huge gash in their arm.

If the Tiger monster used a magical attack like fire, the Summoner would suffer a burn, regardless of whether they were attacked directly or not.

Titans are the exception to this rule. If a big one like The King steps on a Fiend, the Summoner would suffer the same fate as though they had been trodden on themselves.

Understand?))

After the tour of the School, Selene went back to her room and decided to have her meal there. She went back down to the Mess Hall, got her food and went back up to the dormitories. She did not really feel like socialising then.

Once she was done, she went back down to the Mess Hall to return her utensils. She saw that the students were streaming towards the Training Areas. Perhaps it was time for a training battle? She was slightly confused about her next destination and decided to just follow the crowd.

((Sorry does it seem like I’m rushing? I’ll edit this if it is.))

((It's fine Woshii. Catch up posts are always a bit trickly lol.))

He hadn't been outside long when the students began to filter into the Training Area. He stayed where he was for a while though, staring up at the blue sky up ahead.

Someone called out to him and Ceil recognised it as Scarhead's voice. He ignored the boy's question but turned around to look at the group that had already collected.

He had eyed them for barely a moment before he reached up and touched the front of his chest, uttering the magic word that would give form to his Fiend under his breath.

The giant black Fiend ripped its way out of the back of Ceil's head and shoulders and as it took on a physical form landed on the long wall behind his Summoner, the stone creaking terribly at the weight.

Gwen looked up at the giant Fiend and took a step back.

"Lets be very, very good" she whispered in Imari's ear.

"Seth will be acting as a safeguard in case anything goes wrong" explained Ceil. "Sometimes captured monsters used in training try to make a run for it and we can not allow any monsters to invade Niefir."

((For those of you who I haven't told Seth is seventy foot high. I made him that big for a reason which will be explained later.))

Kaylee's eyes widened as the giant fiend ripped out of the back if Ceil's head and shoulders. Kaylee took a few steps back and sighed. "My fiend could be this things small snack." she whispered quietly, re-doing the ponytail in her hair. Her fiend was only twelve feet tall, and this thing had to be at least sixty.

"Haruhi, I think we have to hurry." Her eyes widened. "We don't want to be l-late right?" She took Haruhi's hand and started pulling on it gently. She heard a faint creaking coming from the Practice Area One. "Hmm, I hope Monster man didn't bring in Titans."

"I hope so too." Haruhi said as they went to the Training area.

Once they were there she looked at the Fiend of.

"Dang he's big"

"I-I know right?" "Wow."

The giant black dragon was probably about as tall as hmm, 60 to 70 feet? She couldn't tell whether it was a Titan, Monster, or Fiend. But since it wasn't attacking, it was probably a Fiend. Selphie looked at the Fiend, memorizing its form. The dragon was scary, yes, but he would be rather interesting to draw.

Diana had filed into the training arena with the rest of them, watching with slight awe as Ceil's fiend appeared. Shaking her head slightly, she cleared the expression from her gaze, and glanced around nonchalantly. It wasn't that scary... Was it? Glancing up again, she confirmed it was. Slightly. Trying to dismiss the image of that attacking Rain, she looked at Ceil pointedly. When was their lesson actually going to begin? Was he just going to release monsters on them like some hooligan? She hoped not...

Imari slightly laughed at Gwen’s remark she made about Ceil but didn’t say much she patiently waited to see what happens. As she waited she looked around and saw most of the students were here. She turned around and heard someone asking Ceil something but it seems like he wasn’t much bothered.

Finally he started to talk and not soon enough his fiend was brought out. Not much frightened as when she first saw she stood her ground. She noticed Gwen giving a step back so Imari looked at her, giving her a comforting smile.

The training was about to begin and adrenaline was building up.

“This is now our turn. Our fight. Our destiny. Are you guys ready?” said Imari with a slight grin on her face, in to a low voice to those that could here or wanted to here.

Lisa listened intently to the adults' conversation, her hand resting on Gaea's fur. ''But she's so young.'' Lisa could feel her mother's gaze. ''Mom, I'm 16. I'm probably allready older than everyone else there.'' She said, even though she knew it wouldn't help. God, why did her mother have to be so stubborn?

''But look at you Lisa. How on earth are you going to survive fighting monsters?'' Lisa looked down at her arms, before turning to Artur, a small look of 'feel free to step in and help at any moment' on her face. She had had this discussion with her parents several times before, and she never seemed to get any further. Maybe next year. That was always the closest she got. That recent titan attack hadn't helped much either. Her mother was more paranoid now than ever.

((God Timmy, I feel terrible. I'm so sorry for making you wait again. sad.gif  I am really going to try and post so you don't fall to far behind... again....

Also, have we considered an OOC? *peeks down at the 6 ooc posts below her*))

At those words Merric arrived at the house of the girl he was sent for by Jyeh. He felt the door. Unlocked. That's good, at least I don't have to force the door. He opened the door and went inside, heads turning to see who entered. "Sorry for barging in like this, ladies, priest." He gave a nod to Lisa's mother and then to Artur and then he turned back to Lisa's mother. "But she won't be alone. There'll be others like her to help each other out and most of the time, nobody dies. Anyway, Lord Jyeh sent me here to let you know that he knows about the girl. You know what that means."

Having said what he was sent for, Merric turned around again. "I'm going back to report to Jyeh and tell him Lisa will be sent to the school soon. You'd better do so if you don't want to get into trouble!" He yelled back inside when he got back to the door, making sure everybody inside heard him and saw the axe he was wearing.

Artur was about to answer Ariana when Jyeh's soldier barged in and beat him to the answer without even introducing himself. Artur was too shocked to utter a word. Jyeh's soldiers still hadn't learned to properly ask people to go that school...

Archer listened to the teacher ramble and then looked at the big black dragon. It was huge, but not that huge. Archer then placed a hand on his chest, said 'Pagos' and summoned his fiend, Frost, which appeared on his shoulder. "So, Mr. Ceil... where are the monsters?" Archer asked Ceil, no, Skullhead-yeah, that is a good nickname, for the monsters, which visibly weren't there. "I'm not sure I want to fight with the wind..." Archer said once more as he waited for the teacher's answer. Meanwhile his thoughts were different. Come on skullhead, answer me! Edited by ShadowBlade_ZX

Kaylee looked over and saw that a boy had already summoned his fiend.

"I don't think we are suppose to do that yet..." she thought, her eyes wandering back to Ceil's huge fiend. Her fiend seemed so... pathetic compared to his and probably everyone elses'.

She sighed and thought about Ai, her large, white fiend which resembled a wolf. "Let's try our best." she thought, her hand slowly moving over the area of which her fiend was held in its crystal shard.

Ignoring the students babbling Ceil walked over to where the cages where being kept, picked one via the leather straps on either side and carried it into the light. Four Vespids were inside and due to being moved began to buzz angrily.

"As most of you will know, these are Vespids. The weakest of the known wind based monsters. Their magical attacks aren't very strong and their stings useless against Fiends, but they are very fast and intelligent. They attack in swarms and will try to by pass Fiends and go straight for the nearest human. I suggest you do not let this happen."

He looked directly at those who had already summoned their Fiends.

"Since you are so eager to start, I'll let you try first. Dispatch them before they reach you or your classmates."

He put the cage down on the grass, unlatched the lid and ripped it off. The giant insects inside flew out, two heading deeper into the trees and the other two heading directly for Kaylee.

((For simplicity's sake I'm just going to rip images of monsters from video games. Feel free to come up with your own monsters or pictures when you start on missions.))

Archer instictively looked as the teacher opened a cage and four Vespids came out of them. Frost instictively got off of his master's shoulder as two of the creatures approached. "Frost, ice needles." Frost sprouted his wings back and ice shards appeared on them. With a strong flap the ice flew away from Frost and at the Vespids. One took a direct hit and fell down and the other one got stabbed in the wall behind Ceil. Archer then turned to observe the two going for the trees and prepared to attack. Edited by ShadowBlade_ZX

"Egao." Kaylee whispered frantically, summoning her fiend. The large white wolf came out of her back and pounced in front of her, ready to attack.

Kaylee saw two Vespids heading straight at her, and got ready to attack. Ice shards came flying out of no where and hit the Vespids, killing them.

Kaylee looked over and saw that a boy had taken them down. She nodded a 'Thank you' and then turned her attention back to where the other Vespins had gone.

"Come on Ai, Let's go!" She said, running after the two Vespids who had dissapeared into the trees.

Isaac watched as Ceil opened the cages, and the Vespids zoomed straight towards him. Ick, I hate insects... He closed his eyes and said, "Suture". Ellie, his Fiend, appeared at his side, flames flickered around her reddish fur. Someone had already taken care of the two Vespids coming at them, and a girl was heading after the ones in the trees. "Let's go, Ellie." he said softly, and headed after the girl, Ellie close behind. Edited by Darkshadow

Selphie looked on, and swallowed before summoning her fiend. "Flit."

The small fairy dragon came out of her back and hovered protectively over Selphie. Nephrim looked rather tiny and delicate compared to the other Fiends, especially Seth. "Haruhi, let's g-go and k-kill these Vespids." She followed after Kaylee and Isaac.

Kaylee spotted one of the Vespins not too far ahead of her and yelled, "Ai, Water ball!"

A large ball of water started to form in front of Ai's face. He quickly flicked his head in the direction of the Vespin which sent the now huge ball of water flying at it, smashing it up against a tree. Kaylee smiled triumphantly and continued running, trying to find the other Vespin. "Good job, Ai." she whispered to her fiend, running gracefully by her side.

The fourth and final Vespid zipped through the trees and eventually landed on a tree branch. It buzzed its wings and glared down at the Fiends and Summoners chasing after it.

"Be careful" warned Ceil without turning around. "I said they are intelligent."

Diana placed a hand over her chest, and murmured a single word. Vann. With this word, a blue mist detached itself from her chest and a pale blue unicorn materialized in front of her. Without a word, she swung herself up behind the withers, and gave her a small tap with her heels. With this, her Fiend launched into a canter, and she spotted the creature. Not stopping, the teenager decided on an attack. "Water strangle," she whispered. From the faintly glowing horn came a length of water, wrapping itself around the Vespid, and starting to crush it. Others could now attack it while it lost strength. Sliding to a stop, Rain danced nervously beneath her, hooves making a soft rustling noise atop the leaves.
