Dragons VS Humans, The Great war.

"Oh both silly. Got laws around here about thievery. Can't take what's not yours. Also, it's fighting for the humans. At least the ones around here in Rudvick. They're plenty nice and we don't want to see them killed unjustly" Tic and Twick explained. They trotted up to Overseer. "Hey what's up? Is it TAWDOW?" the large dragon shook his head. "We can't be sure. It may have just been rogue dragons but just in case we're doing a nation-wide alert. This is necessary anyway"

Allusya followed the Twins, wincing as the sun hit her but ignoring it for the moment.

"I did not realise it was against the rules." She turned her head, gazing over the landscape. She was silent for a moment before turning back to the twins.

"They're not organised, they're also very loud and are spouting makeshift armour from old rusted metals."

The twins laughed at her comment. "I do hope you're not talking about Aquarian armor. It's made of titanium. Extreme heat resistant, electric resistant, and rust-proof" they grinned. They paused, "Magic charmed to be heat immune actually" they beckoned her to follow into the shade of the city" people still walked to and from but from inside the city walls. Tic and Twick looked around at the city. Guards were perched on the walls, looking about.

Allusya quickly walke into the shade, seeming to shape herself so not an inch of skin was in the sun.

"No not the guards, the foce approching. You mean to tell me you two canot shadow sneak?" He gaze was focused on them, her frown deepening. She pointed to the shadows along the road the guards were looking on.

"I might not be the best fighter, but shadow sneaking is easy. You see that rock there with the moss." She paused for a moment, and stuck her tail into the shadow of the tree, it appeared in the spot she had indicated before she pulled it back out.

"I don't want to alarm the guards by a tail."

[Sai]

"'Course we can. But we've grown a bit more social you see. So we use snaring magic to combat more than shadow magic anymore" Tic and Twick exchanged glances. "We don't know about armor on the foes, but if it's bad, then we're in luck. Besides, all the humans are being taught to use magic. They can fend for themselves pretty well anymore" they continued. Overseer nodded. "You can go about your business. They arent after dragons. Still, just be careful. And no trouble you two" he looked at the twins.

Allusya glanced between the two, frowned, and didn't say anything for a moment.

"I guess so then" her voice seemed to be quieter, as if she was tired of talking. Suddenly, as if trying to gain their attention, one of the people/dragons(I honestly don't know) over the other side threw a rock over the wall, hissing Allusya square on the forehead. He then proceeded to ask for their surender and began to list their demands. Allusya took the few steps toward the edge of the battlements and turned her gaze downward. Then, wings flaring, she gave a very enraged and very very 'you are so screwed' roar and dive bombed the speaker and began the proces of tearing him to shreads.

[Sai]

"Oh isn't this rich? They're so screw-WHOAWHOAWHOAWHOA!" Tic and Twick yelped as Allyusa had aggressively attacked the speaker. The twins conjured their magical chains and took them in their mouths. They danced around the speaker and pulled the chains tight around both of them to restrict movement. They secured the chains and then used their magic to release Allyusa from the bindings. They pulled her away, "Caaaaaaaaaalm it down sweet-cakes" they laughed. They looked to the speaker, "Have you lost your mind?"

Allusya went limp the chains went around her body. When she was released she licked the blood off her claws, satisfied with the dameage she had inflicted, for now. Laying down, she curled up cat like and closed her eyes, openeing them to gaze at the speaker, who was shuddering from shock and unable to speak, ironicly.

"I will wait five minutes, if a good enough reason for me to not kill him arises in that time, I will not kll him." With that, she continued licking her fingers.

"A-A-And if y-you s-surender now w-we wo-won't ki-kill the child-chilren" the speaker managed to say, seeming to be still in shock.

[Sai]

Tic put his paws on either size of the speaker's face and shook him a bit, "Hey there. I think you need to re evaluate your situation" he cocked an eyebrow. The twins leaned together, "How about you surrender or you go to prison. Or worse" they looked back at Allyusa who seemed pleased with herself. "Think I'm afraid to be her mate" "Don't make her mad" they echoed. Overseer swooped down and snorted at the speaker. "So what is it you filthy rat?"

The speaker shook in fear and then relieved himself in front of the dragons.

"Ugh" Allusya quickly moved far away.

"Keep the human, he's not worth the taste he would leave in my mouth." Flaring her wings, she jumped back onto the battlements and under the noce shadow. She did glanc once at the tw twins, but decidd they were busy so didn't bother them.

"I-I'm just a prisoner they ordered to come and deliever their demans while they 'distract the dangerous ones and come in through the sewers' is what they said."

 

[Sai]

"Oh if it was that easy, you should have said so sooner" Overseer growled. He flew up to the walls, "Soldiers, collapse the tunnels!" he bellowed. Funny enough, earth dragons were very common in Kirlsa. They smashed at the ground and rumbling was heard underneath as the sewers collapsed. Tic and Twick grabbed the human and flew him inside the city. They dropped him next to a white dragon. "If you would" they stated. Aquarian soldiers stood around the streets with everyone else, waiting to see if the problem had been solved. The others still watched from the walls.

Unbeknownst to them, the speaker was a spy. With a quick movement he brought a knife out and screamed as he tried to stab the white dragon. As he distracted everyone, the ragtag forces attacked the wall with the fewest soldiers.

 

Allusya hadn't been watching the man, so she saw it happened and quickly roared loudly to gain back attention. She then simply pointed in the direction of the attack.

The earth dragons moved to the walls and used their magic. Spike rose out from the walls swiftly, stabbing at the foes that dared to attack. Boulders shot from the ground, hurling towards any who did not get hit by the spikes. A huge flock of Skywings swooped down next, breathing fire down on the intruders and bashing into them. "Foolish pesks! Do you have any idea how many soldiers are in this city?" they yelled. Tic and Twick flew up with their chains again as the white dragon restrained the man. They flew over the invaders and wrapped their chains around them, connecting them tightly. A red aura cast from their mouths next, ensnaring enemies in the area to be severely slowed.

The army was quickly defeated, leaving the liar who was currently being held near the white dragon.

Allusya glanced in his direction, and contidered getting up. But after a casual sniff she decided against it and instead glided over to the two twins.

"You fight well" she spoke, giving a single nod.

"However, do not bind me like that again." With a flick of her tail, she flared her wings and headed back to the beach. Maybe she could catch her own fish.

[Sai]

Overseer called over a magi and had the group warped to the Aquios prison. He returned to the city to observe any other damages. The earth dragons were repairing the sewer tunnels. "Oh... yeah sure" the twins looked at each other. They watched her trot off and followed a ways behind. The white dragon healed the binded man and escorted him to the human prison of Kirlsa. "I suppose they'll keep everyone knitted up anyways for TAWDOH" Tic commented, "'Course. Easier then rounding everyone up again later" Twick echoed.

Allusya paused at the lakeedge, and closed her eyes for a moment.

"I will... be right back" she spoke before vanishing in a black puff of smoke. IT was a few moments before she broke the surface of the water, one huge fish in her mouth. She walked over to the shadows and spat it out, giving a small smile at her catch. She then divided it into three equals parts and took the middle for herslef, leaving them some of the middle bit, but mostly fish head and tail. Eating it down, she sighed and rapped her stomach, finally full. Then, laying down she let her eyes close, she sun slowly sweeping over her body as it began to set painting her in a shade of autum black.

“So Minerva how did you wind up in the hospital?” Atlas asked. “Well…” Minerva said as she tried to come up with a lie for her reason being in the hospital. She hadn’t thought out what to say if Atlas ever asked her that question before the dragoness came her. Minerva certainly didn’t want to tell her about the newborn babies, because she knew she would rile up Atlas if she ever found out. The doctor, who had overheard Atlas talking, came in and answered, “How she’d get here you say? Why she was brought in to give birth to three little babies who looked kind of like their father.” Atlas looked at the doctor and asked, “Father?” Who did Minerva marry while she was away? Minerva felt an icy chill run down her spine as she knew the doctor was going to reveal the secret. “Yes, he was a strange-looking fellow. He was a furry black & white dragon that was humanoid in terms of body physique. He was called a hybrid, quite strange-looking from the usual Halflings. It was even stranger when his son was born with a pair of wings,” said the Doctor to Atlas. Then he looked to Minerva and joked, “Are you sure you didn’t cheat on him behind his bag?” Upon learning that Minerva had birthed hybrid babies, Atlas started to burn with fury and roared, “You mated with that two-legged furball and birthed more hybrids into this world?! You dumbass; because of you, your precious hatchling pets are going to be in danger!” Minerva flinched at her friend’s anger before she told her, “Atlas, they’re not going to be in danger. Miko cast her spell to heal the prefrontal cortex in everyone’s brains so that they don’t become too dangerous around dragons and the future generations will be without the hunter’s mode.” “News flash, Minerva! White magic only heals physical wounds and illnesses, not genes. Just because you cut tails off of mice, doesn’t mean the next generation is going to be tailless. And how exactly does the prefrontal cortex in a brain make hybrids go mad at the smell of blood, huh?” Atlas asked growlingly. “Dion said that the electric stimulus in the brain picks it up and makes the hybrid’s go into hunter’s mode,” Minerva explained. “And were there any wounds in the brains?” Atlas growled. “Well, there was a stunt growth within their brains that causes the hunter’s mode to be more active,” said Minerva. “And how did this stunt growth happen, hmm?” Kylie interrogated. “I don’t know how the scientists who made the hybrid did it, but all I know is that they engineered them this way,” answered Minerva. “So if this is really natural for a hybrid to have this stunt growth before birth, then the healing magic can’t remove the hunter’s mode because that type of magic is only meant to heal, not destroy. If you want something natural off of your body, you need to destroy it, not heal it. Sorry Minerva, but you’re definitely not out of the woods,” Atlas growled. “Wait, Atlas! You can’t jump to this conclusion like that without—” Minerva tried to tell her before she was interrupted. “Shut up, I don’t want to hear any more excuses! You screwed up big time, Minerva! And now this village’s dragons are going to be in danger because of you procreating with that half-breed! You’re lucky I’m not going to kill your brats this time; in fact, I’ll just wait and let them kill someone so that you’ll learn a lesson. And when that happens, I’ll be there to kill both your lover and your spawn! Goodbye, Minerva! May your children be cursed with the grim reaper looming over their heads. Kids, let’s go! I don’t want you around this screw-up for a long time,” Atlas snarled. Androcles, Kylie, and Danielle climbed onto Atlas’s head and crawled down to her back. But Danielle looked at Minerva first and growled, “You humans are nothing, but disgusting little slugs! Now we all see you for the monster you truly are!” Then the whiptail climbed down to the back.

Kyla, who had secretly been following her mother, glanced in the room. Upon hearing the speech, she walked in a growled as ludly as she could, which wasn't very high.

"Excuse me ms dragon. But mummy has done nothing wrong, I have done nothing wrong. Why do you want to kill me, that is like mummy telling you your kids need to be killed for being born. I read a book saying actions speak louder then words ms dragon, and your actions right now are kinda scary and are making me want to cry." And then the tear works began.

"Why is our life so meaningless to you!" she screeched

Richard leaped away from the bird dragon, as he was at least 2-3 meters away. And just in time. "Gods, I knew it! I can't believe my paranoia worked for good..." - he thought.

"Oh, what? Empiricon? I can't... Ok, thats it." said Steve and immediately yelled: "WAAAAAIT! Drop your weapons, claws, teeth or anything harmful! Especially you, mysterious man. And you, zombie. I want to clarify some things." - and he asked, addresing the leader. - " Number One: I thought you all were dead for sure! How come that you passed in the forest without us, villagers, not noticing that? There is one path there, you know. Number Two: how did you notice us? And Number Three: WHO, in the name of diamond are you, man-leader-necromancer... of whatever?"

((Random Steve alert.))

"Normally I would answer questions in the order you asked me, but i. Think I'll start with the third. I am Riev, a former sergeant of the Empiricon. Remember the caravan who passed through your village to get into the woods? That was us disguised as normal people so that you wouldn't be alarmed at a group of us necromancers in your home. And as for the last question, I wouldn't waste words on a bunch of scalies and sympathizers who are about to be dead," said the necromancer leader.

 

Atlas and Minerva saw Kayla walking into the room and asking why Atlas wanted her dead for no reason, since she committed no wrongdoing. "So you want to know why I want you dead, huh? Well I'll be glad to tell you then. It's because of what you and your damn siblings are about to do in the future. You're going to kill dragons the moment you get the even the slightest whiff of blood," Atlas growled. Minerva was scared and worried about her daughter being exposed to hatred and malicious reasons from Atlas. Kayla was crying right now because of Atlas and Minerva had to put a stop to this now. "Atlas, stop it! Can't you see you're hurting my daughter's feelings?" Minerva cried. Atlas turned on Minerva and yelled, "No, you stop it! It's your damn fault someone's going to get hurt because of you!"

Tic and Twick ate the fish pieces that Allyusa left for them, "Thanks" they nodded together. The twins yawns and did a cat stretch. "Ah the sun ain't so bad now? Huh?" the took spots in the sand next to her. Of course the only down side was that sand grew a bit chillier with the blazing sun getting lower. They looked out over the water to see glow bugs starting to come out.

 

Fayt had noticed Kayla had gone missing and traced back to the hospital. He heard her faint little voice and followed it back to Minerva's room. He listen to Atlas scream. He entered the room and bent to pick up Kayla. "Atlas, how nice of you to visit. I'm glad you get your kicks by spouting venom at my family, making children cry, and inviting your children along" he straightened up and hushed Kayla on his hip. He looked Atlas over calmly. "I had thought you were different now. That you wanted to help humans because you believed genocide over a specie because of a stereotype was disgusting. I guess I was wrong. If that's all you came here to do, you are more than welcome to leave now" he continued. Fayt moved over and set Kayla down next to Minerva. He reached down and kissed Minerva's cheek and smiled at her.

Nick entered the portal to see how Atlas was doing and heard some yelling. "Atlas," Nick cried out as he made his way over to the source of all the commotion. "I have never seen you act this vicious, besides when you were trying to kill me." Nick started to pace back and forth now his own voice rising in anger. He could not believe how Atlas was acting. "There are dragons who kill humans on sight, and if my memory serves me correct some of your family are those types of dragons, but you don't see me screaming at you telling you that you brought some untold horror into existence." Nick paused for a moment to collect his thoughts, and then lowered his voice so he wasn't yelling any more. "I understand if you hate their kind, but do you have to bring it to the children, and in front of your own as well? What kind of example is that?" finishing his scolding he looked up at Atlas, awaiting her reply.

Sapphire yelped when her mother started yelling. She had never seen Atlas so angry. As Atlas yelled she sounded more and more like Malice. Sapphire had heard about the hybrids killing her aunt and was ready to side with Atlas and her siblings when a thought accoured to her as Fayte Kayla and Nick defended themselves. What if this was the same as the issue with the humans? What if not all the hybrids were bad...couldn't that be a rule too? Sapphire had opened her mouth to speak up but hesitated. dad is already mad at me for liking humans, I don't want mom to hate me too. But, what if mom is wrong about the hybrids like dad is about humans? Unable to come to a desicion Sapphire stood stock still in the hospital room when Altas said they were leaving. Instead she looked at Nick as if silently asking for help from him. He was Atlas's friend, the nicest human she had met so far. Nice enough to make even her mothe question her actions. Surely he could say or do something to change Sapphire's mother's mind.

earl and Brian stood dumbly before Dion as he invited them in. "Well he was right, this is certaily one better than the address." "But the only member of our group that actually get's science is back at the apartment." Brian shrugged and entered. "Earl go and get Erin." Earl nodded and ran off to get the Diviner. Brian followed Dion inside and spoke to the scientist. "I'll help however I can until Erin gets here, but don't hold your breath. I flunked out of chemistry and never picked up biology much less genetics. Still I kick butt at following instructions. So I'll bring you up to speed for now." Brian found himself a seat and began to explain to Dion. "So firstly I should let you know that members of my organization are all adept magic users, although the organization itself is pretty small. We have amongst our numbers casters capable of using transformation and alteration magics. That is using magic to change a substance from one thing into another. Classic lead to gold crap. What I recommended to Crowe was that you turn this cure into a solid state like little cubes or what have you and then we deploy it on the battlfield using the transmuters to turn it into a gas on the spot. This allows each transmuter to carry a crap ton of effective cure in as little storage space as possible. Effectively taking a handful of solid cure and turning it into a roomful of gasous cure, since gases are significantly less dense than solids. I took at least that much away from class. Erin should be able to help rub out the details, but what do you think?" He asked Dion after his explination was done.

Kayla's eyes had dried up very quickly. Looking up, she gazed at the dragon before her.

"PROOVE IT miss dragon. Please excsue me for being rude but you are being a very mean dragon and I refuse to let you bully my mummy like this. What proof have you go that will happen in the future? Past hybrids? They're not me. Something to do with brains that I don't quite undrstand? How about self control? Have you ever thought, if I do get this so called condition that makes my head hurt trying to work out what you mean, that maybe I might be able to control it? I am not my FATHER or my MOTHER but BOTH. And right now you are being very-" she paused, puling out a dictionary and quickly flipping through it before hiding it again.

"Insulting! You are insulting our family based on-er- assumptions!" she quickly glanced to the dictionary again for the last word, hiding it again and turning her glare on the second dragon she had ever really met. If the situation hadn't been serious, it might have been considered cute.

 

Allusya yawned and opened her eyes, blinking as small specks of light began appearing. One approached her and she leaned in to get a better look. It then winked out, and the bug flew away before turning its light back on. She began to watch the light show, her eyes following the bugs movements for a while before she layed her head back down and half watched them.

((Holy , she was born just a few hours ago and is now arguing in complete coherence. Lol- MAGIC!))

 

"Always wondered how these things work" Tic muttered, watching the fireflies glow in flashes. Tick shrugged, "Something with chemicals... I dunno" they weren't very science-savvy. A few pygmies flew through and snapped up some fireflies in their mouths for a snack. "Yuck" the twins stuck their tongues out in disgust. "We'll stick to fish" they laughed.

 

Dion moved over to his desk and organized his papers as Brian spoke. Dion nodded as Brian finished his explanation. "Yes, that would be more convenient. If you have matter changing magic, then turning it solid should be no problem" He pulled out a vial of the serum and set it on the desk. "As it so happens, I've worked in genetic experiments all my life... Nice to see that it can finally bring some good after all the bad...." he recalled the lab briefly. And his own death. It was strange to recall the feeling of death when he was so alive now. "Perhaps even some be solids with gas inside. Easily thrown into an enemy and broken to let the cure out?"

(Well if she can read, she can read a dictonary can she not And I still have no CLUE how long it takes for hybrids to grow, you never really outlined it.)

 

Allusya shifted position. She hadn't heard much of that because she had fallen into sleep. Curled up, she almost looke happy, in retrospect to the crazed murderer she had been not that long ago. Her tail flicked as one of the fireflies landed on her, then fell back into the same place. Flicking again as another firefly rested on her tail.
