For my Cave Lurker that has the code 1sTtJ (First TJ) I named him The 1st TJ Nightmare*

 

*Nightmare came from my naming pattern for the Cave Lurkers

And Upeqm... is Upeqm(Thunder). Prounouced U-peck-eem.

Now I just need a Magma with a nice enough code to complete the Trio.

 

Also, I have gaSla the white. I thought it was funny.

No I don't have one yet, but I plan to soon. A golden wyvern I recently got from the alpines has a cool sounding code in my opinon.

0xPow has been named Ox Pow, although I thought about Ox Bow and Ox Power.

 

JO4Hj has been named Joah J Nebulae.

 

myErP has been named Wyatt Erp.

 

2OnIn has been named Prepositions.

 

eCuLI has been named Culinary Escherichia.

I guess I should have answered "yes, I do it all the time!" I wanted all my dragons to have a name, and some of their codes I just liked.

A while back, I ran out of naming ideas. I looked at a dragon's code and thought, 'Hey! That can sort of be turned into a name. Yay!' And that's pretty much what I've done ever since. I think of it as the name the dragon was born with, so to speak. It saves a lot of hunting through dictionaries for new name ideas that haven't already been used.

i am very bad at inventing names!

so when i find a code that sounds nice, i invent random words or names to my dragons based on those!

even mixing english and spanish sounds together X3

 

for example:

Pantecostesse - PnTc0

Berwined Nowacilus - vBNwC ( i read the code something like "be-wen-now-as-ze" its very weird to describe sounds X3 )

Quibjp of the spark - qJBp

Fuhsifar - 4FhS9

 

those are the first examples that come to my mind ^^

i maninly take some of the sound or leters from the codes to invent the names and words ^^

I name my dragons after their codes all the time. Pretty much my whole army of whiptails was named that way:

 

hcuP - Hiccup Fleetfoot I

L0h9 - Aloha Fleetfoot II

lvE9A - Eve Fleetfoot I

LSQLY - Squidley Fleetfoot IV

 

Fleetfoot is the surname I use for my whiptails, and the Roman numeral indicates what gen they are.

I'm starting to name my dragons based on their codes...I use whatever the first letter in the code is as the first letter of the name.

 

Examples:

cVf8w turns to Cyanithe

Ts9Hl turns to Tor'Shul (thank you, Skyrim)
