Okay, it's official.

 

Five little Brutes are officially staying with me.

A sixth one I picked up I'm on the Ropes about keeping (I like the names of the parents, but really don't need).

 

I'm trying to resist the urge to keep hunting (so others can get Brutes too) but at the same time...too much fun is being had!

Yay! I actually timed my own babies well: They hatched just as the wall started to appear. I was afraid I would be too late.

 

I'm also super happy to see a lot of people breeding Brutes with Desipis, as that's a line I'd like to work on at some point. This is a fantastic way to get unrelated bebbies!

I did not breed brutes rather I bred other things to break up all the Brutes abandoned, gold, silvers, stripes, shimmers, tinsels, blacks, reds, pinks. Being as I have had work my time to hunt egg is limited last night I noticed the same brute eggs -over 10 sitting in the AP page for a bit of time so in the spirit of things I grabbed them and Vampire bit them. At least I felt it was the spirit of things - I come to bury Ceaser not to praise him.

 

 

The brute eggs that became vampires were grabbed quickly I managed to get quite a few vamps and two embryos killed. I did keep one vamp egg for myself though this one http://dragcave.net/lineage/lltyN

now i can't make any promises for next week when i test all the cb pairs for the next block of my lineage project now that i've finally got it plotted out, but that's another story

I must say, it was like a holiday breeding: the AP with a lot of brute eggs but not a solid wall of them (like during holidays you can see many eggs of a certain kind but usually there is not only one bred), there were a lot of people hounting for brute eggs and one couple take one egg, see its lineage, drop it back and looking for another one.

Yes! And it helped bring the overall time down on the AP which is a big plus for everyone. Woot!

I, too, bred and dropped 33 PB Stripes to the AP to fall yesterday. Just to offset the flood of brutishness. Unfortunately they fell later than I stayed on DC, so I didn't see a one. Poo.
