Ides of March - Brute Breeding Day (Friday March 15, 2024)

I only managed two Brutes, a Galavantic, and a Black 😅. Oh well!

I tried Brute x Harkfrost and Brute x Fenghuo combos and I think I will need to add those to my collection in the future.

I bred 19 brutes,  and got 9 eggs (I'm keeping 2) had 1 out right refusal, and the rest just no egg produced.  But 4 were (brute w brute) I was trying to further the lineage of some of them, the rest were trying different combos.  But all in all not to bad for my first mass breeding. YEAH!!!!!! 🤣

Will def. do this again next year. (But will plan better!) LOL

Since I stayed up late last night, I got a late start today, but I finally finished my breeding.  I'm happy to say that, in addition to the ones I bred last night, I've also bred another 165 eggs today.  They should pretty much all be 2g from named parents.   Just in case anyone is interested, between both breeding sessions, I only had 2 refusals and 14 no interests.  These Brutes seem to be quite friendly among themselves, don't they?  😉

bred 8 pairs and dropped the following 6 eggs:

1 - 2G Brute from GoN

1 - 2G Brute from Wild Shumoga

1- 2G Brute from Arcana

1 - 2G PB Brute

1 - 2G Skystrider (from Brute)

1 - 7G  Elux Lucis (from Brute, messy)

Dropped some 200-ish eggs tonight, though not all Brutes. Did a lot of mixed pairs which gave quite a few non-Brute results, and tossed out some hybrids and things for fun

I just did some last minute breeding, ended up tossing to the AP 23 Brute eggs, plus a few other breeds.

It's now 8:00 p.m. cave time on Sunday, the 18th,  and I'm just now seeing what I think is the first batch of Brute eggs coming through the AP.

10:00 am, Monday 18th, and plenty of Brutes are still hanging around the AP!

It's 7:25 p.m. and they are still quite a few in the AP.   My scroll is full now and I can only wish I had more room.

Every year I wish that the 24-growing-things limit could be relaxed when the brutes come through. I always hit scroll lock and just keep looking at all the nice lines that keep going through the AP 😂
