Keldeo paused as she looked down at the berries by her hooves. She paused then smiled and picked up the branch in her mouth. "Of course," She replied around the stick as she quickly trotted over to Heatran. Her clones had completely vanished by this point, leaving the real Keldeo all alone. She quickly made her way over to where Heatran had fallen and sat down beside her, placing the branch on the ground. Trying to use her hooves as daintily as possible, she worked one of the berries off of the branch, only to accidentally crush it between her hooves. Immediately, a frown appeared on her face as she tried to pick up another. This one was a bit better managed as she didn't crush it and even managed to place it on the ground by Heatran. "Do you think you can open your mouth?" She asked, looking at Heatran. "Or do you need me to do it for you?"

Heatran would've chuckled when Groudon handed Keldeo the branch. She wasn't down yet. If a puny water system could take her out, what kind of legend was she? So as soon as Keldeo asked about opening her mouth, she opened her mouth and waited a second. As Keldeo stood in front of her, she unleashed a Hyper Beam. She attempted to knock her into the tree behind them, but she couldn't see at the time. She stood up and looked at the bush that was ripped out of the ground. She plucked several berries using her mouth with grace. Heatran walked a few steps and took in what she did. Behind her, the ground was entirely destroyed. Cracks and rocks filled the area, with a pond filling in the cavities.

Groudon had severely misjudged the situation. Then again, he had in the past. The question was how Keldeo was going to take it. It wasn't fair to play down and catch ones' opponent with their guard down, but then again, it wasn't smart to assume victory either. In the end, both parties were at fault. Groudon wouldn't call it out as disqualification, but it was an interesting way to start a best 2 out of 3 fight with both parties losing once and now both healed from berries each time. Whatever happened after this would decide the fight, if it didn't, Groudon would stop it for taking too long and doing too much damage the ground around them.

Keldeo smiled as Heatran's mouth opened and she quickly tried to maneuver the berry into it. However, before she could pick it up with her hooves again, she was suddenly blasted backwards by a Hyper Beam. The air whistled in her eyes as she crashed into something large with enough force to cause the tree to completely split. The trunk of the tree groaned as it crashed down on top of the pony, covering her in leaves.

After several seconds, the leaves rustled as a rather scratched up Keldeo managed to pull herself out from under the fallen tree. Her legs shook as she swung her head to stare at Heatran, breathing heavily from her nose. The pony saw red as her gaze fixed on her target. How dare she! The fight had ended and she had extended her hoof to help her heal. And what did she get in return? A Hyper Beam to the face! As swiftly as she could, she charged forward, her eyes glowing red as she aimed a Close Combat at Heatran. She was too furious to even string together how consumed by anger she was. So instead of even attempting it, she opted to attack.

Heatran laughed as the tree fell onto Keldeo. She stopped just in time to see her get up and charge at her. She didn't have any clones. Heatran used Iron Head and raced to meet Keldeo head on. It seemed to be a brute force match now. Heatran was much heavier and stronger, nearly winning the joust before it began. Keldeo seemed to use Close Combat, as her eyes glowed red and she seemed angry. "The fight never ends, child." It was the only words she would be speaking.

And then, the Lava Dome pokemon hit the Colt Pokemon.

Keldeo's horn took the brunt of the Iron Head as the pony dug her hooves into the ground, trying to push back against the heavier pokemon. Her hooves began to release water to help propel her back against the other pokemon. All hint of strategy had left her. The only thing she would do now was fight and that was what she was going to do. She gritted her teeth together, trying to adjust her head so her horn would slide past Heatran's thick skull and spear one of her shoulders. "I am the strongest," She hissed back insistently. The red glow had yet to fade from her eyes, despite the fact she had switched to spraying water from her hooves to counteract some of Heatran's weight advantage. "I will not lose!"

Heatran thought that Keldeo would've been blasted into the air from the impact, but she wasn't. Obviously, the water coming out of her horns helped her. Heatran listened to Keldoes hissing, not fazing her in the slightest. It looked like the Colt Pokemon was trying to maneuver to hit her.. shoulder. She made Iron Head stop, but the steel armor that sat atop of Heatrans head stopped Keldeo from pushing her at all. She opened her mouth and began charging Flash Cannon. She had to be careful here. If the Flash Cannon got too big, it would hurt them both. She unleashed it. It flew straight towards the blue chest of Keldeo. It hit.

Uxie smiled, a little exasperatedly. "There are many lakes on this planet, although most of them do not have protectors. There is Celebi, I suppose, of Ilex, but her domain encompasses much more than her lake." She crossed her arms, trying to think. "And there's the Lake of Rage...sometimes referred to as Gyarados Lake for the myths of a red Gyarados residing there. We could simply fly over and confirm that! Can you imagine? It would be almost simple for us to reveal the truth." Her tails began swishing again. "Although, I suppose, if Arceus had a mission or the lakes were compromised in the meantime...perhaps we shouldn't go so far." She whipped her tails in frustration - and hit the surface of the water, sending up a splash. Pouting, she flicked a few droplets at Mesprit. "Come on, convince me it's a good idea. I want to go. Isn't that your job?"

((Fun fact: One of the translators said that if he'd been on the team during gen II, he would have named the RageCandyBar the Cake of Rage. AMAZING OPPORTUNITY MISSED))

The emotion spirit paused, distracted a moment later by the few droplets that were flicked in her direction. Laughing, Mesprit twirled around her sister. "Uxie, the all knowing! My sister! Asking for me to convince her into going on a trip that would provide further knowledge?" She continued to giggle, coming to a halt. "There is no trouble here, nothing except boredom! Our lakes are pretty but the frolicking Pokémon won't play with me. And, you know everything about this region already. I think you even know just about everything about the other regions too. So, then, what more could you learn except how to enjoy the day and play until the sun goes down!"

Keldeo blinked at the Flash Cannon then quickly powered up the water pouring from her hooves. She rocketed into the air over Heatran, though the attack managed to strike one of her hooves and send her veering off course. Instead of simply landing behind Heatran, the pony awkwardly spiraled in swift circles, sending water flying in all different directions. Eventually, she crashed to the ground by Groudon and flipped head over hooves several times before sprawling out on the ground. She grimaced but slowly climbed to her feet anyway and turned her head back to glare at Heatran. It was hard to think at all and even harder to push away the thoughts that insisted she just charge back into the fight. But she managed to use Double Team despite the roaring in her ears, causing several clones of her to appear in a line.

((I don't know. Any preferences?))

Heatran was confused as the pony rocketed into the air. She laughed as the Flash Cannon nicked her leg and caused her to fly all over. She landed near Groudon, who was avidly watching the fight. She used Double Team once again. It was apparently the only move she knew. Heatran watched as about half the clones lined up besides the original. Heatran used Magma Storm to destroy the clones by swiveling her head to each of the clones. It wasn't the fastest, but it sure would hurt.

Keldeo and about half of her clones managed to dodge the Magma Stormand quickly spread out as more worked to take their place. Despite the ache in her leg, she turned around as her clones formed a circle around Heatran then quickly kicked up her legs. Water poured out of her hooves in the direction of Heatran as she and her clones all tried to douse the fire pokemon. She was at too much of a disadvantage to use close fighting-type moves so water would have to do for now. She was absolutely determined to win this time and refused to hang her head in defeat. She had won, in fact. Heatran was just being a sore loser. She needed to get her hands on some berries, that was what she needed to do. That would level the playing field. As the rest of them worked, Keldeo quickly willed one of her clones to find a bush of berries she could heal with.

Heatran jumped up to get away from the water. She fell back down just as the water stopped. Heatran watched as a single clone wandered off from the group, in search of something. She shot out a Flash Cannon to get rid of it, making sure it wouldn't help the original in any way. Heatran began a Hyper Beam, and aimed at one Keldeo. After plowing through the clone, she swiveled her head once again to get rid of more clones. She definitely wasn't as hurt as Keldeo. Barely hurt at all in fact.

Keldeo grimaced as the clone vanished. It seemed like she would have to work by herself. As the clones spread out further to avoid the Hyper Beam, she quickly broke off from the group and zigzagged towards the bush Groudon had picked up the berries from. Heatran was such a cheater. But her clones would help her at least. Quickly, she hurried to where the bush had been and searched the surrounding area for berries. Heatran's cool down from the Hyper Beam would give her just enough time to find something to restore her health.

A few berries on the ground caught her gaze and she quickly ate them before turning her gaze back to the group. She was going to win this. If Heatran was going to cheat, she'd cheat too. Munching rather angrily on the berries, she launched herself into the air with the aid of water from her hooves. Still not used to the whole 'flying with water' concept, she moved shakily through the air before hurling herself at Heatran, trying to use Close Combat on Heatran while her clones did the same, though, from the ground.

Heatran chuckled as a single Keldeo ran up to the bush and regained health. Then, all of a sudden they all rushed at her using Close Combat. One appeared to be flying. She had to wait a few seconds, which could mean Keldeo had a chance. Her energy rushed back. The Hyper Beam no longer drained her. She shot Magma Storm beneath her once more, creating the inferno. She wouldn't be losing. Not this time. When Heatran was comfortable that the Magma Storm would stay up, she stopped using it. She willed Iron Head to protect her incase any Keldeo managed to get in.

Keldeo was quick to blast more water from her hooves, sending her flying backwards. Several clones were lost in the exchange but others managed to mimic her actions and spare themselves by flying backwards on streams of water from their hooves. With a frown, Keldeo landed on the ground a good distance away and glared at the flaming vortex. Urgh. Why couldn't she had just stayed down? She was going to win this fight if it was the last thing she did! But how was she supposed to get through the fire? By the time she blasted it with water, Heatran would just put up another. She frowned slightly and took a few steps to the side. The wind had started to pick up in the area but she didn't notice since her eyes were trained on the fire. Maybe if she used the tunnels Heatran had made earlier... fill them with so much water the ground would collapse... But that would take a lot of clones.

Darkrai had gotten pretty far from the battle scene when the wind first kicked up. His pace had slowed down considerably from where it started. If Cresselia was having trouble following him due to his speed, she probably wasn't anymore. He was at a walking's pace now, merely striding through the forest silently instead of storming through it. He found it rather disappointing the forest lost the dampness it had earlier in the day. Although Darkrai didn't necessary care for water or any of the wetness it brought, the enjoyed it much more than the heat Groudon brought. He mentally cursed the earth maker for bringing himself to Sinnoh. He was already disrupting the peace with his presence. No doubt the lake trio would eventually try to speak with him and ask why he was there. The last thing Darkrai wanted was for those three to be anywhere near him.

The wind buffeted once more and Darkrai halted himself. He had noticed it before, but the wind was a whole lot stronger than he first anticipated. How could someone he merely brushed off to be a breeze suddenly become a harsh gust? He stopped and turned his gaze back towards the battle he had fled from. A raging Magma Storm was shooting into the sky with embers flying towards the edge of the forest. If the wind got strong enough and if Heatran and Keldeo were immature and clueless enough, the forest would soon catch fire. While Darkrai's fears for the innocents living in the forest were dulled, he did feel a twinge in his chest. It was not his responsibility to protect those in the forest. If anything, that was Heatran's job, but yet, he felt as though that if he did nothing, the world of several lives would go up into flames.

Perhaps... it would be best to try and end that fight. It has gone on for far too long and they're probably only continuing it out of arrogance, a factor that creates ill battles.

Turning back towards the battlefield, Darkrai began to float forward, heading towards were he once was.

If strong moves weren't going to cut it, maybe she could use moves that covered a wide area. The filling of the tunnels seemed really impractical so her only shot was to overwhelm the magma storm. Swiftly, she turned and sprinted several feet backwards, her clones mirroring her actions. As soon as she was a good distance away, she turned back towards the swirling magma storm and bent low to the ground, bracing her legs. Her chin lowered until it nearly touched the ground while her mane began to whip sideways from a strong wind from the North.

"Why don't you try this?!" She yelled towards the flames as water began to well up beneath her. Hopefully Groudon had the common sense to move away since Surf wouldn't just strike anyone but everyone around. Unlike Hydro pump, the water didn't blast from her hooves at a very fast or even concentrated pace. Instead, it would just gather in a large area then draw back and from a large wave to completely soak the entire area. And, hopefully, that would include drenching the magma storm.

The water created quickly drew back to Keldeo and began to rise up, forming a large mound with the pony surfing on top. Just as it began to crash, the wave suddenly stopped short and Keldeo was flung from the top of it. With a yell of surprise and shock, she crashed into the ground, her hooves splaying out in various directions. Quickly, she lifted her head and turned back towards the wave, a scowl forming on her face. She started to ask what the heck had happened when her eyes noticed the wave she had been about to use Surf with had been completely frozen solid. She turned back towards the raging magma storm questioningly, only to find a blue pokemon had positioned itself between her and the storm. In fact, she had crashed to the ground right by the pokemon's feet.

"What's the big idea?" Keldeo asked with a huff as she stood up and glared at the pokemon standing between them. It had apparently been the one who froze the wave since neither Groudon nor Heatran could possibly do that. "We were in the middle of something!"

Suicune looked down at the strange pony yelling up at him, barely resisting the urge to roll his eyes. Great, another pokemon who didn't understand who he was. A young one but it was no less irritating. Of course, when he had come across the strange battle, he had not hesitated to freeze the wave solid with an Aurora Beam. But it was less to stop the battle and more to ask for directions. Sinnoh always was his least favorite area and he wasn't familiar with this mountain. Deciding the young pokemon was rather irritating, he raised a paw and stepped down on it's snout, forcing it's head down to the ground and it's mouth to close so it couldn't talk any further. He turned and looked around, his eyes eventually finding Groudon nearby. Huh. He could have sworn Groudon's home wasn't Sinnoh. Well, that wouldn't stop him from asking for direction. "I am looking for the three lakes," He announced, deciding to address him. "Which way would they be from here?" Underneath his paw, the pony began to wave her hooves and struggle to free herself.

Groudon was a bit surprised to see Suicune in this region, let alone the same time Groudon came to visit. Hearing Suicune address him, he turned to face him. "For what purpose Suicune. I would think the water purifier would know the location of all fresh water lakes. But if you really want directions, tell me why." This fight was getting out of hand anyway so he was glad to see an end to it. Better yet that Keldeo was silenced for now. Suicune could just doing a purifying round, but Groudon felt it was more than that. Worse part was, he didn't care. Groudon never needed water to survive and neither did the pokemon he mostly tended to, Fire and ground types in volcanoes and deserts. Whatever Suicune was doing at the lakes, it didn't apply to him and nor did Groudon want a part in any water types plans.

Deoxys dragged xirself up off the ground. Xe couldn't remember what had happened past the fight with Rayquaza. Something involving Moltres maybe? All xe knew was that xe had passed out. Dizzy, xe looked around. Despite xir vision being blurry, xe was able to pick out a large pink thing not too far off, not that it was easy to miss.

Deoxys' vision cleared as xe approached, the pink blur slowly forming into a large finned dragon. Deoxys recognized it as Palkia, one of the three Pokemon created at the beginnings of time and space by Arceus. Yay, I get to get my face smashed in twice today.

"Hello?" Xe called nervously, "You there! P-pe-poo- Palkia! Um, you wouldn't happen to know where I can find some berries, or a Pokemon with Heal Pulse?"

"Hello? You there! P-pe-poo- Palkia! Um, you wouldn't happen to know where I can find some berries, or a Pokemon with Heal Pulse?"

You there? This little rascal has a nerve to it, doesn't it?

Palkia lifted up his head from the pool before him with water dripping from the corners of his mouth. He stared at the virus momentarily, observing it, unblinkingly. He had watched it fight the green sky serpent. It wasn't exactly a win for either side, but Deoxys had probably taken the greatest fall. Had Giratina not swiped away the bubble containing the battle, Palkia could of learned more about what had happened afterwards. Oh well, it wasn't as though the matter was heavily burdening his mind. Palkia could live without the knowledge.

"There's a good selection of berries over there," Palkia said calmly, pointing his muzzle towards a collection of shrubbery dotted in fine colors. "I haven't check to see what berries lie over there, but I'm guessing there is something over there that can be of use to you." Without another word, Palkia dipped his muzzle back in the water and begin to drink once more. The cool water poured down his throat and left a tingling sensation of satisfaction through him. Water was perhaps Palkia's favorite part about the Other World. It was the life essence of the land. Should it be removed, the world would crumble away until even the smallest Weedle shivered away. With it, life was abundant and the land became green. Father acted both wisely and arrogant when he created water. He made a single substance as abundant as it was precious. He made it the most helpful and harmful thing on the planet. It was quite pitiful to think there were creatures who took it for granted.

Suicune turned to face Groudon completely, his paw stepping down a bit harder on Keldeo's snout. "Because I have decided to grace this area with my presence," He replied then finally lifted his paw from the pony's snout. Keldeo quickly sat up and rubbed her snout, twitching slightly. But she was focused now, at least. Suicune? She knew that name... She had totally been going to fight Suicune later on! She snorted with a challenge as Suicune stepped towards Groudon. "I am very busy," He insisted. "And unfamiliar with this region since I rarely come here now. If you refuse to help me, I shall find them on my own."

"Hold up!" Keldeo quickly said, jumping to her feet and hurriedly moving to Suicune's side. "I want to fight you!"

"No," Suicune replied immediately and raised a paw, pushing her away. "I am here to do my business in peace, not fight.

Deoxys nodded.

"Th-thank you ma'am" Xe managed to blurt.

Xe subconsciously shifted to xir defense mode. Then xe turned and headed towards the direction the beast had indicated. Xe couldn't quite see well enough to pick out the berries, but figured that an ancient legend like that wouldn't lie in that manner. Palkia might crush Deoxys under it's heel, but lying didn't seem the right style.

All tranquility left Palkia as soon as the words, "ma'am" were uttered. He lifted his great head and spun around, eyes blazing. Fresh steam drifted out of his nose as he gave Deoxys and hard glare. It probably wasn't its fault for mistaking Palkia to be a female. His voice was quite feminine, even more so than any of its siblings. His body was shaped to be rather womanly, by Other World standards, and people sporadically said he, "acted like a lady", whatever the hell that meant. Deoxys was probably only assuming based of Palkia's voice. If it had been any other matter, Palkia would of measured the situation carefully before taking action, but Deoxys and found one of Palkia's few, if not the only, triggers. The countless millenniums of wisdom and reason left Palkia for only half a moment. Seeing as Deoxys wasn't too far from him, Palkia shifted his body to the side and let his tail swing in the virus's direction.

"That's sir to you!" Palkia roared, not caring if Deoxys was hit or no by his tail. The simply action would be enough to inform the ignorant one of what Palkia wanted. It did not need to be harmed to understand what the ancient one wanted.

What Groudon hated the most about water types is how regal they acted. It perturbed Groudon to no end. The last thing he wanted to do though was fight, not that he couldn't win but Groudon made a peaceful trip to relax, but one after another it gets interrupted by self-indulgent water types. Taking a step further, he called out, "The lakes lay on the mainland... Southwest of here. Go the northern, eastern, and western point of the region to find the lakes. You can't miss them." He was about to let Suicune go when he remembered something. "Do you also plan to visit the fourth lake? The really foggy one?" Groudon had never been to the fourth lake but he heard rumors of its presence, and the presence of Giratina, but he had ever checked to see if they were true or not.

Deoxys heard the rush of air as something large came flying at xem. Being in defense forme, xe couldn't move quickly enough to look at it. Xe threw up a Protect as fast a xe could, not very fast in xir current state. The impact shattered the barrier, but saved Deoxys from any damage. However, the sheer force behind it was enough to toos Deoxys several yards. Xe changed to xir normal forme and whipped around. Then Palkia's words reached xir brain.

"My apologies, sir. I didn't realize." Xe cowered, "I shall be more careful with my wording next time."

If anyone understood being called by the wrong pronouns it was Deoxys. Admittedly xe changed them three or four times an hour, but xe still understood.
