Been keeping an eye on the AP for the gifting threads, and wow, yeah. Not a thing. I've seen quite a few '09s and some sweetlings (why do I suddenly want cupcakes? ), but no rosebuds. IOU's, maybe? Those that are having luck, are you pairing your roses with rare breeds? The example above was mated to a winter magi, so it's reasonable that a rosebud came from that. Winter magi won't throw more magi until next Christmas season.

I bred mine to a daydream with a resulting 3 rosebud eggs. Congrats to the two people who snagged my babies from Rosus Ribbons (Would LOVE to see them named would be so cool)

But it looks like they're flying through the AP this year.

I have a 2nd to breed, and that will be to a purple but not yet.

Its going to be insanely disappointing if Rosebuds are as rare as Hollies this year. I've wanted one ever since I saw them. Stupid glitch making them super rare. ><

I was so excited for them!

 

Anyway, I've yet to see a single one even go through the AP and it's really hard to even grab eggs as it is.

 

I was literally squealing with glee when I just grabbed this little one just now; [This]

 

and the only reason I got it was from keeping my mouse on one egg out of the thirty listed in the AP refreshing for over an hour. @_@;;

From what has been said in the IRC chat, the rosebuds who bred and glitch-failed have had their 'bred on' dates moved to the SEVENTH. Meaning they will be breedable again on the FOURTEENTH.

 

So everyone keep calm (and carry on) and assume that unless we hear otherwise, the Rosebuds will be breedable again on the 14th around this time. :3

For those who don't have and are hoping to get one of last year's or previous years' eggs, don't forget to check out the trade forum. There are several gifting threads that a person can sign up to receive an egg. That's a more positive approach than despair because they aren't dropping in the AP right this minute.

 

Also remember that we're only 2.5 hours into the week. There will be an entire seven days in which members can breed their Valentine dragons. A lot of folks are in bed, or in school, or working, etc., depending on where in the world they live. They might not have had a chance to jump on and see to their scrolls and the forum news, yet.

OKay... Now this is just plain weird. I caught two Sweetling eggs a few minutes or so apart, and they are both from the same clutch?!

Blackdragon71: Maybe they don't like it's lineage? Personally the code would override any lineage, even in a 2 only holiday dragon!! LOLS would be so epic to have TJ dragons.

 

 

 

zoreta: looks like the Rosebuds are already fixed, mine bred a true set of 3, and the ones that fail bred were set back a day so that they can try again with correct holiday results on the 14th.

It does have a rather long, messy lineage, but if one freezes the hatchie version, it would be perfect regardless, just for the code.

First Rosebud that I saw turned out to be amazing. I saw it and clicked on accident and then like a minute later I realized I caught what I wanted. Pretty sweet lineage too.

Whoever picked up the 3 eggs I had to abondon from Rosa Freuda http://dragcave.net/lineage/PSBn Congrats hope you continue the lineage even though it is a bit odd hahah would love to hear from ya XP hope they get named in german as well ended up being a bit of a theme XP also from Roseus Ribbon a CB rosebud.
