And now I have a question for everyone. I have this Tinsel Princess and have been trying to come up with a proper mate. I finally was able to breed a Copper that produces offspring like this but I am wondering if this would make a better mate. What do you think?

They're both pretty amazing, but I think the second one is even better.

Thanks for all your opinions on my Princess. I will try her with the Tinsel mate when he grows up. She has been notoriously picky about mates, though, rejecting at least 3 of them, so we shall see.

PH, congrats on the flamingo. I had the same issue in my lovely commons projects.

 

I suspect it also has something to do with the scroll.

 

I could not get a speckle from my blacktip/speckle, it was making me crazy. Mentioned it to a friend, she bred one right away.

 

She also bred a horse on the second try for someone where nobody could get one (Lovely Commons thread). And, she breeds Soulpeaces all the time, and we've been trying to get a purple for my SP project. It's 4th gen, and a different pattern than a regular checker, and it's not like I can ask anyone to try

 

I believe she has also bred several shallow water and bluna dragons for various people. And last night she bred a Fever from Fleshcrown, and I hadn't been able to get one to save my life.

 

I suspect that as with the Snow Angel wings, different scrolls might have a propensity for breeding different breeds more than others. It's still just a theory, as with everything here And if I decided it was accurate, then TJ would change it anyway.

I don't know anything about the breeder of your dragon, but I have an extensive collection of Splits, up to gen 9, that are unrelated to it -- so I could undoubtedly breed you a mate for yours.

Ugh, nebula colors. I've had no alt, no egg, no alt, no egg and am on the edge of exasperation.

If it weren't for needing the trade I'd never again try for the pairing. So I've focused my attentions elsewhere.

 

Keep on keeping, with good luck in between, to those still stomping that fight.

In more happy news, decided to limit an egg slot for tomorrow's new release.

I can believe it I had similar situation with my crimson x moonstone. I was able to breed only RCs, but almost all people who decided to help me declared that they'd got moonstone on the first try. You can see the lineage here - none of 2nd gen moonstones was bred by me (not to mention, that I have even more 2nd gen RCs on my scroll from another fail tries). So, yes, I like this theory

edit: forgot to mention, the parents are the top and bottom 3rd gens for a 5 gen project that I am having trouble getting the middle parts for. But hey, looks nice

The first one colored correctly, now I try to get mate for my second CL and it's... 5th fail I think. Not as bad as it can be, though.

SUCCESS! Looks like the eighth time is the charm. I can finally call this lineage done, though I'm still going to finish a Winter version next year because I already have him.

 

My other lineages still don't really want to cooperate, sadly, though I did finally get one 2nd Gen from my Green Nebula x Spotted Greenwing checker. I have two CB Nebulas that colored Green earlier as well, and they grow up in fourteen hours, so hopefully they'll give me a two more eggs tomorrow.
