Posted January 9, 2015 Supposed to do a survey for sociology class (for Tuesday and I haven't even started, oh noes). Finally thinks of a topic: people's belief in various pseudosciences, alternative medicine etc. It's bad, but the best thing I could come up with, go figure. So, in the process of gathering some basic info, so far I've got tangled in sceptic sites, gone through tons of material on the nature of science and critical thinking (which btw is the most fascinating reading ever while trying to avoid work), read a bunch of stories, discovered that I really want to study alchemy, decided to take up argument map tutorials... and suddenly it's 11PM and I'm just realizing there's not a single survey question in sight yet. ??? Like Betty you had one job. lol I'm supposed to do a simple survey, not a full essay on the subject of my own! Though that actually sounds way better and infinitely more interesting than the original task... Posted January 10, 2015 I want to watch that movie so bad. I've been waiting for over a month since I first placed that order....then had to wait until Mom got her Blu-ray player for X-mas, then had to wait to get the dumb HDMI cable-thingy now gotta wait until Dad leaves for his trip because like hell he's gonna understand what the movie's about. Last time I watched the DVD of it he was all like, "WTF is this crap?" during the epic climatic battle towards the end. Oh and like the movies he watches isn't crap? Starship Troopers?
