'Kay, so, I've heard from all my team members, so we're good. Waiting on Julesjag to get her replacement 6G self-bred currently.

 

Also, Julesjag1's time zone is MST.

Oh, it gets even better for me. I'm presently in the process of creating an Even-gen, non-inbreed, 11th Gen dragon. Once the Epic Lineage is complete, I'll have an excuse to create another 10th Gen to breed with the EPIC dragon, which will create another 11th Gen to ultimately create an even-gen, non-inbreed 12th Gen.

 

I know...I'm crazy...

Oh, it gets even better for me. I'm presently in the process of creating an Even-gen, non-inbreed, 11th Gen dragon. Once the Epic Lineage is complete, I'll have an excuse to create another 10th Gen to breed with the EPIC dragon, which will create another 11th Gen to ultimately create an even-gen, non-inbreed 12th Gen.

Okay, noticed a little problem in the spreadsheet that is related to my dragons, but not actually my dragons. I'm so confuzzled.

 

 

Regal Valiance Epic Water Racer

 

Are both dragons belonging to Lady Sephira on team Orchid. She gave me an egg from these two. They are listed properly in their spots in Team Orchid... but are also listed as Sienna team member Olympe's dragons.

 

My concern is that I don't know what team they belong too. If the dragons are 'team orchid' no problem, I got the right trade dragon. If they are 'team sienna', then the I have the wrong egg from Lady Sephera.

 

I'm so confuzzled! someone help! I don't know what to do but as it stands on the spreadsheet I can so see having an inbred egg rather soon. >.<

It's ok. smile.gif Team Orchid traded 5th gens with Sienna and is now trading 6th gens with your team (Navy), so your dragons will have the same ancestors as people from those two teams and no inbreeding will happen.

 

Now, the reason the dragons have the exact same parents is because most of team Sienna had to be replaced. sad.gif I'll try to explain. Lady Sephira(orchid) and sadie2947(sienna) traded 5th gens. Regal Valiance was a trade egg from sadie2947's 4th gens to Lady Sephira, and a sibling of Lady Sephira's Epic Water Racer was given to sadie2947 so they could breed a 6th gen.

 

sadie2947 is inactive, so their replacement needs an egg that is the closest match to the dragons on sadie2947's scroll. That would be an egg from Lady Sephira's Regal Valiance & Epic Water Racer, since that egg will have all the same grandparents as the 6th gen on sadie2947's scroll. Does that make sense?

Don't worry! You have the right egg. LadySephira (plus 2 other Orchid team members) were asked to breed replacement eggs for Team Sienna. 3/4 of Sienna is MIA and Orchid was the last trade partner for Sienna. Navy will NEVER trade eggs with Sienna.

ETA: Zareni's explanation is correct & more detailed.

 

The trade structure is set up to take into account past trade partners for each team. Navy's (& Orchid/Purple/Sienna) next trade partner will come from the Forest/Goldenrod/Blue/Silver group.

It's quite simple, actually. The dragons do belong to Lady Sephira from Team Orchid. However, since I joined Team Sienna only recently and nobody from that team could breed me a replacement dragon, I needed a replacement egg from her. And, in order to list things as properly as possible, these dragons are listed under my name in the lineage spreadsheet. ninja.gif

 

Idea: Maybe we could have dragons that don't actually belong where they're listed (like Lady Sephira's dragons under my name) be written in gray?
