How do I find the dog I need? I think I've pressed space in front of every dog in that 'sea of dogs', and nothing's happened.

They show you a picture of the dog when you first start the quest.

the solstice dragon is supposed to take you there. you cant find it on your own. listen if your on day 5 quest then you dont need to go to the ice temple

Its super easy to find which one is him, i've gotten it correct every time.

I think Patch is relatively easy to find, and I can generally finish the search pretty fast....if I don't get trapped by other dogs wandering around, anyway. That's the only irritating part for me, since they can box me in and it's hard to actually make my way over to where the dog is.

 

 

Also, finished the story quest first, but now I have to go and re-do all the side quests. It didn't just reset those, it also eliminated any alterations I did to my house today.

Alright, so, question -- whenever I redecorate my house in the minigame, if I leave the house and go back inside, all the furniture is reset to what it was before I edited. Is there any particular reason for that?

That's one of the glitches. If you close the game and re-open it, it should show all of the changes that you made. The progress isn't actually lost, for some reason it just does that.

Ooh....

As mentioned before, snow dragons choose mates based on how they draw patterns in the snow.

How complex are these patterns?

Are they very elaborate, detailed and beautiful? Much like their sprites ;P

Or are they very rudimentary and basic? Like my drawings?

Or somewhere in between?

 

Also I'll name one of my dragons Pufferfish Lover as certain pufferish draw elaborate circles in the sand to attract mates.

They tend to be pretty complex, and take a while to complete - they start trying to woo their mates in late Fall when the air and ground turn frosty (so their patterns won't melt), and this sometimes goes until the first snowfall or a bit after, depending on the region (but always done before the holidays).

 

Hatchlings will make drawings, I imagine those would look like my drawing skills, too.

 

I saw someone ask if they were drakes - They aren't.

I've checked the FAQ and a fair bit of the thread, but haven't been able to find out why this game doesn't work for me - I just get a black screen with some arrow keys. Tapping the screen or reloading the page doesn't do anything. Is the game incompatible with iOS?

In moving the pillars I can only go sideways (either direction) not up or down - so how do I do that??

Get above or below the pillar instead of on the side, hit enter, then push or pull the pillars.

 

Not sure if this helps or if you may have a glitch.

I knew I liked Avery for a reason. He knows a thing and another, and apparently that includes magic as well. Magic FTW!

Unless there's a twist and Avery turns out to have been the bad guy all along and that grumpy kid (Ezer?) was in fact trying to stop him from whatever nefarious plan is in the making.

I like how Avery's mage robes are the same colors as a tsunami or blusang dragon. I wonder if all robes are colored like the dragons that share their element.
