Dragons VS Humans, The Great war

((Sorry, Albel can't reach her. She's been keeping far from him during the sky-climbing and teleporting. Even if he were to spew magma or fire, she would dodge it.))

The magi's triumph soon turned into anger when she heard that her enemy had survived. 'Grr! You want a real challenge?! Fine, I'll give you a real challenge,' she yelled back telepathically. Then she looked to Axle and told him, "Axle, heal me now! That damn half-breed is still alive!"

((The fire wasnt for her. It was force to slow his fall))

Albel moved along the forest, muttering to himself every so often. He hadn't sustained injury from the last encounter, but it was still annoying being dragged a couple miles off course. As neared his original location, he came to the river crossing. In the distance he saw Nick and Akuma talking to... he came to a stop. Who was that? He sniffed the air in a more concentrated way as he caught her scent. Fayt asked him where he was telepathically and he muttered an annoyed response to his location. The Hybrid trudged over to the trio, looking at them sternly, particularly Ember. "You. Where did you come from?" he demanded. Akuma jittered at his presence but looked at Ember as well, curious as to why neither of them had seen her yet. They'd been running around this region for years after all. "Dion never said anything about another Hybrid escaping"

((Maybe not entirely but she does have to touch him to be able to teleport him. It's the golden rule in any teleportation magics you see. Frankly you dont have to make the hit land, but yeah, she does have to touch people to teleport them. Otherwise that would be quite overpowered.))

Ronan bowed to the gentleman. "Yes we are. If I may, I'd prefer to talk in private. On a business matter." He badly wanted to speed things along.

((And yet that's another rule I did not know about until now. Are there any other things that haven't been mentioned in this RP yet?

And DJVoxel, if you're reading this. I sent you a PM to tell you why Esko has "disappeared".))

"Fine then, let's go over to my office," the director told him. So Minerva followed the man over to his office where he took his seat at the desk. The blonde sat on one of the two wooden chairs. Mr. Yager looked at them and said, "Okay, before we get started, I would like to know the names of the people I'm dealing with." Pointing at the woman, he said, "Let's start with you, miss."

Minerva introduced herself, "My name is Minerva, sir."

"Nice name," commented Mr. Yager. Then he looked to Ronan and asked, "And what about you, young man?"

((Red, it's a general rule and is common sense. When teleporting- looking even at games/movies they're always touching each other when they bring companions. Not to mention it's usually a straining task to do. Teleportation is like a self made jumper that only affects the caster. If they want it to in turn bring someone else, they must hold onto them for the duration. Teleportations teleport everything the caster typically touches- thus why people don't leave their cloths behind. There is not enough room to list out rules pertaining to every spell known to man. Most of the time people are able to mediate their power on their own. If something seems unbalanced, something will be said.))

((Fine, I guess I'll leave mentions of teleportation vague until we get to the Windfall/Sundown war. It'll be implied that Atlas touched others to teleport in the RP. But in my story as well as the alternative timeline, Atlas focuses on herself and others to teleport them. After the war, she's definitely touching people in the RP to teleport.

Besides, not all magics are the same for different stories. Rules vary in each of them and how they go about casting spells. Atlas may seem mary-suish that way in the story, but I'll be making it up with strong villains, especially that one final boss whose name I won't mention, because spoilers.))

((Um Sai, not true. Some cases they do touch each other, in others though they do not need too.))

Axle did not look at her as he replied "No, I will not. It a waste of energy just to heal and than to re-heal again. I will only heal you once you're done." He snared at her, but still not looking at her. He stood up on the edge still over looking the forest. "Let me tell you why you won't win, Atlas." Axle started to say as he turn his head barely so the corner of his eyes could be seen. "You went in there blindly."

After Axle said 'no', Atlas cried in disbelief, "What?!" He then told her why wouldn't heal her and why she won't win like this. The magi defended her action, "Hey, I had to kill that half-breed scum, because he's killed many dragons before. He even told me this himself. As long as he lives, he'll continued to take many victims. Hell, I'll even bet that brother doesn't do anything to stop him." She assumed the white-maned hybrid was probably involved in these killings, too. Why else would he would defend his brother, despite knowing that he's a murderer? Atlas growled and thought, 'I should have tried to kill that one, too.'

Ronan followed him to his office. After being asked his name he bowed again saying, "Ronan. My friend and I have limited time today so I'll get to the point. I'm looking to establish a school to teach the combative skills that I am trained in. I have no business expertise but perhaps that is where you can help us. Minerva is my partner in this endeavor and we need to understand what it'll take to operate the facility once it is built and we don't have time to waste with classes to learn this." He made his point clear and concise.

((I said in most cases. Which is 90% the case. Regardless it is the case here. That's how it will be in the RP to avoid it becoming OP. You can make it however you want in your story, but limitations on magic power are going to apply here despite any belly aching.))

"You disregarded those that relay on you by just going in there blinded by rage and anger." Axle snared back at her, now turning his full attention to her. "Also, if I remember correctly, you just left as soon as you heard a hybrid try to kill a dragon, who let me remind you, lived. You going off just to take revenge for another against a couple of murderers for that reason means you care, however lack a brain. Let me tell you something, by you blindly just jumping into a fight, you run the risk of losing everything." Axle took a breath after than before turn away from her. It seem to bother him more than anything else. "I don't know the whole reason why you went or what for, but you went there to quickly and without help." Axle said in a calmer tone than before.

Azera came to the foot of the mountain and saw what the drake did on the way up. He pulled out his sword, cast a fire aura on it and went to and swung at the rock slab. It went though it like it was butter do to the hardness of the sword and the heat of the flames.

Mr. Yager listened to Ronan and asked, "I don't know why you are in such a hurry, my good man. But I'm pretty sure there's no harm in waiting a week to learn all the important details you need. Besides, I'm a very busy man and there are things that need to be taken care for tomorrow's first class. So I can't waste time trying to teach you everything in less than a day."

Minerva had a feeling that her friend wasn't going to take the director's decline to teach so easily, so she tried to come up with an alternative wave. "Wait," she blurted.

The director turned to her and asked, "What is it?"

The woman asked, "If you can't teach, then would you give us some kind of book for us to borrow? Like a textbook or a handbook of some sorts."

Mr. Yager paused a bit in his thoughts before saying, "Well that may work. But I still rather you learn learn from this center. If you can learn everything from a book and run your school right, then good for you. Otherwise, this would have been a waste of time."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Atlas's eyes shifted to the ground and she growled, not at Axle, but rather at herself for not thinking about him and her nieces. She had done it again. Then the white dragon continued his scolding about jumping into fights blindly. Finally, he calmed down a bit and commented about how he didn't know why she went to fight the hybrids. At this point, the magi calmed down into regret for her behavior. "I-I'm sorry, Axle," she apologized. Perhaps, now was a good time to tell her about her history with the hybrids. "It's just that my sister got killed by fiends like them. Fiends who would bully and torture her at the lab where they were created."

She bared her teeth at the memories of all that Flarina had told her about the lab. Then she stopped baring and continued, "The worst one of them all was Ramkot, whom those scientist spawned him from her. He and his gang of hybrids were the ones who killed her and left my nieces orphaned. Everyday my sister would tell about her horrid days at the lab and how she suffered from everyone there. Because of that, I hated these half-breeds for what they did. And I started to hate them more after Flarina's death." She turned around and walked towards the cavern wall where she faced it with her head down. "We were supposed to live together in freedom after the Spell. Me, her, her mate John, and the hatchlings." At this point, tears started to form in her eyes. "I was supposed to meet my new family until those freaks came and took their lives away."

She choked, trying not to sob around Axle, and continued, "Now because of them, I'll never be able to see my sister again." After two tears fell down, she lifted her head back up and growled, "And that is why I'll never forgive these half-breeds for all they've done." Then she whipped her head around and snarled, "I'll always hate those little censorkip.gif***s no matter what!"

Ronan was considering an idea to change the man's mind on his own free will, but he stopped a moment when he heard Minerva's suggestion. He smirked at the businessman's reply. "He's right Minerva, odds are we can't make it work with just a text book. Besides, he probably can't teach us anyway. May as well just waste a week learning this stuff." He was attempting to use reverse psychology on the man to trick him into thinking Ronan was doubting his capability in order for him to take up the challenge to teach both Ronan and Minerva business operations. If his plan failed, they'd have no choice but to sign up for the classes anyway and spend the week in them to learn.

Axle heard Atlas story about why she hated hybrids. He turn around and went up to Atlas side. The clear evident he saw what kind of punishment she took in the fight now, as shards of obsidian, burn marks and even chunks of ice was on her. He walked over to her and place his hand on her leg. "I'm sorry about what happen, and I'm sorry for what I said." Axle sadly said. He turn his head to her injured body and sigh a bit. "Well might as well get to work now. To let you know this is going to hurt because first I need to remove the ice and the obsidian as well."

The director frowned when Ronan commented on how he can't teach them. "Hey, I'll have you know that many of my students have passed my courses and are doing pretty well in their business," he told him, sounding offended.

Minerva got where Ronan was going at with this reverse psychology and told Mr. Yager, "Then maybe you can teach us now, since you're so good at it. I'm pretty sure that you can get this done."

"Alright fine, but I'll teach you really quickly," Mr. Yager gave in and said. But then he warned, "But you better hope you learn much from this." Then he started to teach them how to run a school and the things they need to do.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Axle apologized for his outburst and Atlas replied, "Now you know why I had to keep them from killing others." Then he was about to heal and said that he was going to remove the ice and obsidian. The magi told him, "I will get rid of the ice. You just take out the obsidian." Then she used her fire magic to melt the ice off her body.

Ronan smirked at his success and nodded at Minerva for her aid in making it work. He took a seat and listened carefully getting as much of the details down mentally as possible. He grabbed a nearby pen and paper and wrote down as much as he could. He made certain to underline things that were highly important.

Axle step away from Atlas when she cast a fire spell on herself to melt the ice. He waited a few seconds before he went back over to Atlas. Some of the obsidian he just simple remove with ease, the other chunks, he need to pull out the knife he had on him. It Shiny ruby red blade glimmer in the sunlight, almost looking like a gem, but yet it metal coldness could be felt, almost like ice.

He took great care in removing the obsidian from Atlas. Once he was done he place the knife on the tip of the blade, which stood straight up on the rock, almost like it sliced it way into rock slightly.

Axle place his hand on Atlas, letting the energy flow from him to Atlas wounds to heal them, which started to close and heal almost instantly one after another.

((Red you decide how long it takes))

So for 4 hours, Mr. Yager taught Ronan everything he needed to run his school. "And that's how you run your school," said the director. Then he looked at the clock on the wall and sighed to himself, "Boy, this took a lot longer than I thought." Then looking back at the clients, he asked, "So now that we've reached the end of this 'class', do you have any questions you want to ask me?" Minerva didn't have anything on her mind, so she looked to Ronan to see if he had something to say.

((Note to everyone, you don't need to be in the exact same time as Ronan and Minerva. I just made them skip 4 hours, so that LordTorch can have something to post to.))

-------------------------------------------------------------------

((I think I would say like 10 minutes, I think.))

Atlas looked at the ruby knife that he was holding and found it to be beautiful. The man went to remove the obsidian pieces from the magi. The dragoness winced as the blade touched her flesh. She resisted moving as she would make it harder for the dragon lord if she did. Once the pieces were out, Axle started healing her back to normal. Now that she looked like she was untouched in battle, she got up and said, "Thanks, Axle."

Ember still had a smirk on her face. "It seems like you forget that we are assassin types, not warriors. When the only streamlines there are to compare us to are warriors then it seems like your argument doesn't hold much water. And you seems to forget that Humans can't really smell anything worth a damn." She said pointedly in response to Akuma. When Abel came into view and demanded to know where she came from her eyes seemed to twinkle. "Oh ho ho that is a very good question indeed." when she laughed it was shrill and high pitched. "Dion never told you about me because he never helped me escape. I've been deep deep in the forest for a long time now." she purred. "They've been looking for me for a long time, but you can't catch smoke with your bare hands."

Axle removed his hand from Atlas as he pick up his ruby knife that was sticking up in the ground. He place it back where he got it from and turn back to Atlas. "Want to train now or simple want to rest?" He asked her.

((Just to simple get like the day further ahead so i can get Azera up to Spinx. Climbing a mountain takes awhile.))

Ronan read through his notes and his mental memory on the information before he shook his head. "I think we got everything. Thank you for your time and teaching. Should you find yourself curious about our school, feel free to come by after we've opened." He bowed before he headed to the door. He look to Minerva. "Excellent work back there. You have some skill with psychology. I just know how to trick people without them seeing it." He chuckled whispering to her.

Atlas answered, "I could use some training in anger management and smarts. Because if I keep rushing into things like that, then bad stuff is going to happen to us." For the sake of everyone she cared about, she needed wisdom and a cold head to keep from making rash mistakes that would endanger herself and others. She hoped Axle would have some ways to train her in these areas.

--------------------------------------------------------

Mr. Yager replied, "I will keep that in mind. Have a good day, you two." Then Minerva followed Ronan out the door. He said that she have some skill in psychology.

The woman felt flattered and said, "Oh gee, that was nothing. I just wanted to try and convince him; that's all." Then they went out the door.

((Esko doesn't seem to be posting anything at all. I should probably timeskip over to where Aeolus gets to the cave with Yopple, Baltia, Bam, Gneiss, and a two other Gallion dragons.))

After picking out dragons to train with him under Juna, Aeolus lead the group to the cave that Juna was at. "Juna, I'm here and these are the dragons that I have chosen," he said.

((Sorry if it's short.))

Drake got up looking to the two as they came out. "Well you two certainly took a long time. I had to spook a few kids waiting out here." Drake said with a smirk. "Find what you were looking for?" Ronan smiled hopping once again onto Drake's back and helping Minerva up as well. "Yep. Let's go home. Minerva and I have one last thing to do today." He grinned. Drake took off back towards home.
