Hey guys, sorry I was MIA!

 

I just graduated college! My life was basically studying for my exams and finishing all my art projects, sorry I haven't been around!

 

I've been breeding off and on, but haven't had much luck at all, even with fertility! D:

 

I did get this little mystery, though! Queen/Bronze sunsong egg!

Boy, is that true... All my queens have been very finicky... with that said, finally got some results:

 

It was a flight-fest here at Honshu today... all the queens took flight but unfortunately only 2 queens were able to clutch Seems like Honshu's queens are barren right now... Senior Queen, Kultath, mated with her mate, Satanath (Bronze HF) and produced this cute little Bronze egg. While Honshu's Jr. Queen, Epicath, was caught during this flight by Bronze dragon (HF), Senth. They produced this fine little Bronze egg. Both Bronzes are looking for impression candidates and we are willing to transport them to any weyr needing new blood. Just send a drum message (click teleport) and we will send one of our wingleaders between to your weyr

Well, I managed to get one bronze, but nothing else.

 

Even all my tinsels gave me nothing D:

I know this is probably very late, but as far as some of the new breeds go, would introducing the Golden Wyverns as Queen breeds be acceptable? We'd probably have better luck breeding them then actual golds, or gold tinsels, and are closer color-wise.

anyone need any gold/bronze firelizards of late? I have a queen firelizard ((Littlewingth)) who is always wanting to clutch and am hoping others will take advantage of this and send us a message and we'll get you an egg from her straight away. Just take a look at the other non related male firelizards we have and we'll send an egg to you as soon as it arrives.

My Queens have been really stingy and no one seems to be interested in "non-Gold or non-Bronze", mine keep throwing Greens, Blues, and Browns

Hoookay, I know I haven't been posting much here at all, but that's mainly because none of my Golds have produced anything in months :/ But, I have a question for all of you who are involved with this:

 

I have this gorgeous dragon that I haven't been breeding due to kinda wanting him to be like he is in the books (uninterested in breeding), but then I realized that there may be some people here who would seriously appreciate an egg from him. So my question for mishii is, if I start breeding Ruth, would his eggs and descendants be accepted as a part of this lineage project? :3

And my question for the general members: If his eggs are allowed to contribute to the project, would you want them? And if so, what should his mates be, Green or Gold? 'Cause personally, I don't think he could ever catch a gold in the books, but Greens are technically supposed to be infertile (though I've broken the Green infertility rule on my own scroll a few times lol).

WOW!! Congrats!! Honshu is so proud of our "satellite" wing... All Honshu is celebrating the new Queen egg... Maybe this is a sign that Honshu will start producing some new queens

To everyone who had lucky breedings: CONGRATS!

 

I had very little personal time after I last posted, I was job hunting and it took a lot of my time and energy. I also had a few personal and family troubles (death in the family), so yeah.

 

BUT WELCOME WELCOME! There is a thread overhaul planned, I need to organize who is here, and who has what. I'm going to be updating the first page with common breeding pairs, of any tier - green, blue, bronze, you name it. Whatever pairing you might have within your scrolls. Please post or PM with the info and I'll try to get the update up as soon as I can.

I need to update the breeds as well.

 

I'd like a consensus from all of you still active on what breeds should and should not be allowed, and for what tier (green, blue, brown, bronze and, gold queens). We have so many breeds nowadays, I just want to know if we should downsize, or if there are common breed choices used more than others.

 

 

As far as this thread is concerned for breeding in canon, I think there are two schools of thought. You can either try to stick as close to canon as possible (which would mean there are no greens, among other things -possible inbreeding is one. I'm pretty sure there was in the books.)

 

Or, you can fudge it a little and do as you please, as long as appropriate breeds are used, and naming scheme is followed. We're kind of winging it a bit here.

 

And RUTH! I would be happy to include little Ruth here in our thread, and would welcome others input on the idea. ^^

Still here with my queens at Telgar Weyr. All my queens have bronze mates, but I am also pairing them up with blues and browns as well. Sadly not getting many queens of late. I`ll send a message when I can with my queens and things

 

I also have a small wing of Monaco Bay dragons too, thanks to being given a queen egg from there.

I'm still here with Igen and I have six queens now. I tend to fall on the fudging side of things, considering I have whites and gender-switched dragons in my Pern project.

Still here... have 10 Queens (5 Gold, 2 Gold Tinsel, 3 Sunsong) but none of them have produced a Gold in a LONG time... have offered the Bronzes and other colors they have produced here on the thread, but more often than not have ended up keeping or APing the eggs since no one seems to be interested... Altogether I have 53 Pern Dragons, and 45 Firelizards. If anyone is interested in me breeding anything just shoot me a PM and I'll see how cooperative my dragons will be
