HM walked to the gym and went into the bleachers to watch the team sparring.

Drac continued to spin, the flames growing more intense as he went, until he struck where Grey was, flames spreading an inferno in all directions and scorching the surrounding area, although they weren't going to hurt Grey due to some sort of conditioning Drac found he could put on them. Well, not hurt much.

[Alumentum]

Siarah sighed at the fight going on. It wasn't fair that the second years got to use weapons against new students. She didn't say anything however and continued to watch.

 

Jonah nodded at Belle and sighed. He was about to tell her something when the coach called them out saying that they were up to spare. Jonah smiled wickedly. All his teamates had to do was stay out of the way but that wouldn't happen. He quickly turned to them and hissed "Nova you take the pyromancer and you take the kid with lazer-vision Belle."(control your opponents as NPC's) He steped up to the marked out ring and glared at the other team. As he figured they looked pitiful and unable to fight. This will be easy he thought and waited for the bell to ring.

Leo nodded and said "I will ask the principal if w can have a 3 person group.". He then walked up to her and asked that exact question.

Belle grinned, and nodded. She pulled a large water bottle off her back, and took the top off. The water poured out, but froze in the air. It thinned out, forming a sort of shield. Belle pulled of two small bits of ice in the air, and they flew at the boy. He shrieked, and ducked. The ice bullets went with him however, and he received a blow to the head. It was at that point the boy releashed his powers. Small red laser lines flew towards Belle.

Jonah smiled at Belle for doing as he said. He then growled and charged at his target. The shape-shifter ducked out of the way and changed into wolf. Typical Jonah thought and lashed at the wolf with his tail. The wolf doged twice before he was slamed into the ground by Jonah's tail. Jonah ran to the wolf and raised his foot to stomp on it but the wolf rolled out of the way and changed into bull. Jonah growled and glared at the boy. The bull charged and Jonah grabed him by the horns. Bracing himself with his legs, he and the shape-shifter engaged in a sort of pushing contest were the loser would be in a world of pain. Jonah was suprised that it actually took a little effort to hold the bull back but then smiled wickedly at it. He shoved the horn's up and slamed into the neck and chest of the bull. Jonah heaved and tossed the bull over his back and onto the ground. Hissing Jonah turned to face the bull and waited for him to get up and try something else.

Cure stood back in the shadows, the students were really giving it their all.

 

There had been a couple of quite impressive feats and some of the walls needed some repair, but the students were holding up well.

 

She kept one eye out for the Headmaster. As much as she respected the guy, he still creeped her out.

Belle ducked behiend the ice shelid she had created earlier. The lasers hit the ice, but Belle had angled it s it hit the celieng. Unfortunatly the lasers had melted a hole straight through the ice, and shattered it. Belle frowned,and in midair the peices began to reform.

"By the way, i didn't get your name. And i'm sure you didn't get mine, i'm Ryon" said Ryon, realising that it would be awkward if they didn't know each other's names

The other boy took advantage of Belle's distraction, and shot lasers at her. One hit Belle's hand, and she yelped. Holding her hand, Belle shot a deadly look at the boy. Suddenly the ice that had been forming a shield broke into shards, all of the shards turned and raced towards the boy. Two large pieces held them selves in front of the boys eyes, blocking his power Belle lunged at hi, knocking him over.

Jonah heard Belle yelp and he turned to see what had happened. She had been hit in the hand but acted quickly to take the boy down. Jonah smiled but was too distracted to see his own target baring down on him. He turned back at the last second to see a huge gorilla swing at him. The gorilla's fist slammed into Jonah's shoulder and he stumbled a little. When he recovered the gorilla swung again. This time Jonah ducked and wraped his tail around the gorilla's chest and arms. Squeezing with his powerful tail, the gorilla struggled to get free. Jonah squeesed tighter until his opponent couldn't breath and then threw him to the ground. The gorilla shifted back into a boy and Jonah flashed a wicked, reptilian grin when the boy didn't get up. Jonah held his ground and stared ready to help his team mate or to further beat his target until the coach named his team the winner or until the doctor said their opponents were unable to fight.

Belle used the ice to cover the boys head in a thick sheet of ice. She grinned, and sat on the boy's chest. "Done" She glanced at her teammate.

Jonah looked over at Belle and smiled. Then he turned to the coach with a questioning look. The coach nodded with an impressed expression and motioned for them to wait on the side lines. Jonah calmly walked to the side of the court and leaned against the wall still in his reptilian form. He glanced at the screen and watched as his team moved up the bored to qualify for tomorrows match-ups. He was proud even though the battle was easy like he assumed but he couldn't help notice how happy Belle looked as well. He sighed to himself and rolled his eyes. Turning to face Belle, he smiled a little. "You did great out there, better than what most of them could do." he said quietly, nodding towards the crowd of students who's skills were no where near as good as his or Belle's.

Belle sepped off the boy s the coahmotioned them off to the side. The boy groaned loudly. Apparently he wasn't awake. belle sighed, and lifted the iceof her head, then shoved itback into the bottle. She walked to the side towards here teammate. "You too. We could proubly take on most of the cool, if we wanted to." Bele brushed her burnt hand agianst her side, causing shar tab of pain upher arm. I closer lok revealed alarge, reddened burn on her arm. "Oh god that hurts." Belle brought her water bottle back out, and wrapd theice around her hand.

Cure had the boy/gorilla taken to the infirmary so she could tend to him later. She figured he mostly needed to sleep it off.

The girl that had wrapped him in ice seemed to be favouring her arm. Did it get hurt?

She walked over to her, keeping one eye on the lizard kid Jonah and addressed her.

"Hello, it's Belle right? Does your arm hurt?"

[Alumentum]

Jonah eyed the Cure but said nothing. He watched a few more matches go on and tried not to laugh at how pathetic the students were. We should have no problem winning this tournament if they are that bad. He started to grow bored and hoped the bell would ring soon so that he could go to class. Sighing, he glanced over his shoulder at Belle and Cure and then went back to watching the last few spars.

Belle nodded mutley, and pealed the ice off to reveal the burn. "I got hit." Belle looked at Cure.

"Let me."

Cure gently took Belle's arm and lightly touched either side of the wound. The injury glowed very dimly for a moment, then vanished.

"Oh. You're a glower." smiled Cure "Haven't seen that for a while."

Belle's eyes widened as her wound vanished. "What do you mean, I am a glower?" Belle's face was blank, clear of emotion. The ice that had been an ice pack a moment ago slid back into the water bottle at Belle's hip.

"Don't worry. It's nothing much, it's just people have different reactions to my healing abilities depending on their own powers. Some people glow, like you, some don't. Some people say it's a warm feeling, other's say it feels cold."

Cure shrugged, then side stepped as a ball of energy whizzed past the small group.

"I wish people would learn to aim" she muttered.

[Alumentum]

Jonah payed no attention to Cure and Belle's conversation. He spun around to see an energy ball impact close to them. He laughed a little at Cure's comment. "Tell me about it." he said with frown and went back to watching the spar. The kid throwing energy balls could win no problem if he could hit his target and that made Jonah a little angry that he couldn't. The fight was soon over and the coach made the final update to the score board. The bell rang soon after and all of the students were dismissed for the rest of the day. Jonah stood up and, while walking toward the gym exit, morphed back into his human form. He stepped outside the gym and decided to sleep on one of the benches around the court yard fountain.

When the students were dismissed, Cure went back to the infirmary. Gorilla Kid, as she thought of him, was just beginning to come round.

He sat up and his eyes focused on Cure, then his surroundings. He let out a roar then darted towards the door, murder in his eyes.

Cure quickly caught him by the shoulder and spun him round to face her.

"Don't even think about it" she warned him.

"But he.."

"It's over. He won. Leave it."

The boy paused, then pushed Cure away.

"Fine" he muttered as he walked out the door.

Cure shook her head. The yearly introduction tournament was a good way of showing off everyone's powers, as well as forging early rivalries. She hoped Belle and Jonah would keep an eye out for that kid, because he was sure to track Jonah down at one point or another.
