Posted July 28, 2009 Technically I took the oath. I just bred a bunch of eggs that weren't Pink to try and add a little diversity to the AP. What with it being a pure Pink wall at the time. Posted July 28, 2009 (edited) Hm. I must admit that when I first started the game way back last October, I would breed for the sake of breeding, because it was fun. But eventually I got tired of it. Although I have kept a good amount of my dragons' children, and when I get something out of a breed I don't want, I usually try to gift it to someone. If not, I am now starting to keep those dragons at least until they grow up and then release them, so they don't contribute to the AP or die(I hate seeing my babies die. Posted August 3, 2009 As a new member to the DC forum community, I must admit that my previous breeding has been experimental as I've learned more about the game after collecting quite a few adult dragons. However, I have gotten into the forums and done a considerable bit of reading, and have also become part of the Datamonster Survivors Lineage Project. Posted August 4, 2009 I swear... I will not breed for breeding's sake: I will breed because I want the result of that breeding or know that there are people who want it. I will not breed when the AP is full and I can't keep the result of the breeding. I will not contribute to an existing wall: I will breed those commons that aren't so abundant at the moment. I will if at all possible breed sometime between xx.15 and xx.45. I will not participate in massbreeds I've never done these any way, but might as well make it official. Posted August 4, 2009 I'm rather new and haven't bred anything yet, but I agree with this idea. But I don't understand this part: I will if at all possible breed sometime between xx.15 and xx.45. Posted August 4, 2009 Here's a method I use when I breed and I'm not sure I'll get what I want. If it's not on the AP, I don't breed it (unless the other one is something I really need and there's no other compatibles) Share this post Link to post
Posted August 4, 2009 That´s why I only breed purebreds. IF I get an egg it´s the one I want. Or in case of metallics I get pure 2-coloured eggs with metallic/1 other colour. Share this post Link to post
Posted August 5, 2009 I am a supporter. I can't take the oath, because I DO sometimes breed judt to see if the couple would produce an egg. Most of the time though, I am breeding dragons from my lineage, the Royal Chillwinds, and then give the resulting seasonal eggs to people participating in the lineage. Share this post Link to post

Posted August 6, 2009 I still support the oath. I'm breeding with intention to get Stripes mostly, and I made myself a Geode, which is another egg I need. In fact recently I accidentally bred a Green Stripe when my scroll was full, so it got abandoned for somebody luckier than me. Share this post Link to post
