Book Number: 41 Number Of Pages: 290 Book Title: Dead Stream Curse Author: J.R. Erickson Summary: Stephen Kaiser demands magic, and maybe a young witch can help him. Rating: 4.5/5 This one used Norse magic (the author researched so much) to help weave together a great story about a young man obsessed with magic and a young woman who wants to belong. Now it seems that the congressman to whom she was chief of staff has died by suicide after having become involved in shady dealings. CJ knows too much and now her life is in danger, too. She ends up in the Witness Protection plan through the FBI and is moved to Booth Harbor, Maine, where she finally meets the perfect man and falls in love, with resulting complications. Review: It was okay and a somewhat interesting read, but the characters and most of the plot twists were just totally unbelievable to me.
