It's Jollification Day! The craft fair... tonight is 6 - 9 p.m. then daytime tomorrow and Sunday.

i had a fun 4 hours on the register this morning/afternoon.

 

totally NOT looking fwd to next weekend. *shudder*

Aww. Wish I could help.

I had a good three hours mostly on cash at work and then another three hours at the fair on my feet this evening. It was fun, but I ache everywhere now.

nah, i tried to have off tomorrow, but nope.  weekends in november and december are black-out dates, so don't request 'em off.  my next day off is Thanksgiving.  but the next day off after that is actually the monday after, but i'll be driving back across the state, after having taken younger daughter back to college.

I refuse to even be out of the house that weekend! Everyplace is a madhouse, including the roads!

at least i'm not waiting in that line!  but seriously, we do get the line down quickly, and we have a thing they call line busting (my mom says they do it at Costco, too) so that helps the line go quickly too.

Today went well. The weather was perfect, sales were okay, I did get to sit, and my shop in my absence did over $1000 in 4 hours!

this year the crowd has been insane all of november!  it's crazy!  (it's also a craft store, so there is that.)

yep, it's one of the big box craft stores.

accurate.  on both accounts.  i mean, worked at a fabric store too, a million years ago....

 

but, i have direct deposit.  and i make sure to only spend cash at my store.  no cash, no buying it.  unless it's for a gift for the hollydays or a birthday
