Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) Show off your beautiful, fortified strongholds here. To find it, go to your scroll link and click the medal. http://dragcave.net/holidays13_fort/(USERNAME) Be nice! Unless the user asks, don't attack forts here. Edited December 21, 2013 by dirtytabs Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) Still very early in the process of building mine. :3 Looking forward to adding plenty of ice walls and towers, since those were the sprites I had a hand in (although not the round ones.) Edit: I do believe mine is as done as it is going to be. For now. It shall change more when the changes come. I have plans. Many plans. But for now... I wait. Personally, I've got a few snowbanks thrown up by the plow, so I'll just admire yours a lot. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) http://dragcave.net/holidays13_fort/VampiricOmen It's a work in progress, I would like to have the whole "symmetrical" thing going. The isometric view is a big help with that. Not sure what I am going to do with sculptures. Loving how I get back one snowball for for something that costed one snowball. Lovely fort, Moonlightelf! Well done. Edit: Your fort is amazing, Dirtytabs. Nice idea with the layout. You fort is lovely too, Syphoneira. Thank you, Tiga! I think once you are finished your fort in progress will look pretty awesome too, it looks great already! Edited December 20, 2013 by VampiricOmen Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 LOL, never mind my deleted post. Currently enlargening my fort--which will take even more time. As of now, it's as messy as my bedroom. :3 Share this post Link to post

Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) http://dragcave.net/holidays13_fort/lastalda This is probably as far as I'm going to get today. I'll see when I get time to really play with this over the holidays. Until then, i should have a very nice big heap of snow to play with. Yes, there will be moar snow kitties! (No need to throw at me anymore, I'm at 25. Save your snow for someone who still needs it - or for building your own fort. ) Edited December 20, 2013 by Lastalda Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 Here's my work in progress. Also level 25, as of this morning, and looking forward to the 9 snows per hour accumulation! Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 Mine is in progress... I'm mostly just trying to throw snowballs at everyone, but after a few hours or so I will work on building a massive one. http://dragcave.net/holidays13_fort/sbowen I'm alright with snowballing, but I don't need it that badly.... I should be at Level Twenty Five by three EST. Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) I haven't exactly finished it, but here it is Sheesh, looking at the other forts makes me feel embarassed to show this off):http://dragcave.net/holidays13_fort/Hazel360 And I finally got to level 25 *does a happy dance* Edited December 20, 2013 by Hazel360 Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) I"m definitely not finished, but I got my walls done and I'm building my perimeter forest! http://dragcave.net/holidays13_fort/Sirithiliel Edited December 20, 2013 by Sirithiliel Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 My fort in progress Needs more spikes and decoration, I guess. I really like the dragon sculptures and would love to incorporate one in the structure... right now I don't know whether I want to go down that "cozy snow fort with trees and banners" route or build a huge menacing fortress of wintery doom. Posted December 20, 2013 I'm having a lot of fun with this event, though I wish more people would attack mine. I want to concentrate on building it... but I also want to level to unlock more things... it's a tough choice some hours to attack or build lol Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 my fort -- still a work in progress. I may try to design a castle on the inside, or make little igloo villages? Now that I see everyone having cool walls, I wonder if I shouldntve had this perfectly square one... Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) Not done but here's what I have so far http://dragcave.net/holidays13_fort. Since I see everyone else going with igloos on the left I shall (stubbornly) keep my igloo where it is. Incorporating the nice big snow dragon will be a challenge though and I'm not sure what I should do next :s There should be a snow fort advice thread. Edit: Whoops, guess you have to add your username to the link http://dragcave.net/holidays13_fort/Sarah864 Edited December 20, 2013 by Sarah864 Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) Still workin' on mine. I'm making a replica of Arendelle Castle from Frozen. I just wish there were more tall elements for us to work with. And ground ice. But it's comin' along pretty well, considering. edit because i'm dumb and grabbed the wrong link Edited December 20, 2013 by Stromboli Share this post Link to post

Posted December 20, 2013 Wow, there are some really lovely forts in progress! Definitely getting some inspiration Here's mine so far: http://dragcave.net/holidays13_fort/angelicdragonpuppy I'm hoping to finish the outer walls and courtyard, then dazzle up the outside with trees and such. Kinda tempted to change the layout of the walls now, though, looking at some of your guy's... Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) Mine isn't much of a "fort". More like an igloo with a yard and lots of bare trees. I'm never any good at designing these things... my gingerbread house is ugly too. http://dragcave.net/holidays13_fort/Dimar Still workin' on mine. I'm making a replica of Arendelle Castle from Frozen. I just wish there were more tall elements for us to work with. And ground ice. But it's comin' along pretty well, considering. That looks pretty cool! (And the link led to my own fort, so I had to add your username to the URL so I could see yours x3 ) Edited December 20, 2013 by Dimar Share this post Link to post
Posted December 20, 2013 My fort has two sides to it. When I started building yesterday, I guess I had shadow igloos. The two I thought I had ended up being 10. I knew there was something off when I saw I had 50 HP with only two igloos. Share this post Link to post
