Well I finally caught a 4th gen Holly, spiral with Red Dragons. I've been trying 12 hours off and on, and 3 years before that, and this was the first click that ever landed. I don't the 2nd gen I pray for, yet, but still!

 

With the one I was gifted last year, I finally have two, and thanks to TJ's decision, I still have the ability to find pretty 2nd gens, and build a lineage in the future.

 

I'm also at level 10, 24 exp with Fort HP of 20.

Like so many others, I'm seeing several Hollies go by, but I am definitely NOT a ninja. I can't react fast enough! Must...keep...trying...

 

Between attacks on random forts, that is. *ahem*

 

Meanwhile, got the igloo icon posted earlier (Thank you!) and am debating when to breed all the other holiday dragons I have (the Holly is all I'm missing). Any requests?

I have mixed feelings about the breed limits (or lack thereof, now.) One one hand, it will make it much easier for gifting when I hit the limit for my hollies, so I shouldn't complain, but... it also kind of annoys me that despite the limits being eliminated, I still can't keep all the eggs I breed. I was gifted a beautiful third-gen holly last year and I wanted to gift her eggs away this year, but I still need a frozen hatchling for my collection... And knowing my luck, my chances of catching a slightly less bred-for-lineage one are very slim.

Not to mention all you crazy fast-connection hoarders out there. Good grief!

Ah well. It made me happy to see a non-forum, bronze-trophy member catch one of the abandoned eggs, though

 

Hmm, snow forts? This isn't going to end well for me...

Yeeaahhh... I have most species in CB so what is the nicest color-wise when paired with a WW? I'd really like to breed these because them hatchies are /adorable/

 

EDIT: Meanwhile the winter magi and ribbondancers are being nice and making multiclutches :U i hope whoever got the other eggs names them, and if they follow the naming pattern it would make my day [whoever used one of my ribbon dancer babies to make that snazzy lineage you are forever awesome].
