I know Bacon took Aerix.

I'll take Alvi need it be.

I think we should just get rid of Derin as she hasn't been used.

Liney needs to be taken by someone who understands her character and wants the ship. (Shoo, Tala, you're going to break the ship.)

Viden can be taken by someone who just wants to work on the ship wall.

Speaking of which, I'll take over the ship wall if we want to keep it. I'll keep it updated and add more people to it.

Yessss oh my gosh *does a little dance*

I am very happy that he's accepted, Doc. Ridiculously happy.

 

Like Doc, I'd offer myself up to be a mod, but I don't think I'm a very good candidate. As you all probably know, I have a tendency to be a little hot headed :I

 

In other news, Doc and I have been helping Silver with plumping up some of her characters. The first one we did was Sierra, and so with her permission I'll add it here for crits c:

Name:Sierra

Gender:Female

Breed: Bright Breasted Wyvern

Personality: Sierra is a very forward dragon. She is not shy around her fellow dragons, but until she gets to know someone she might be a little serious and distant. She has a lot of energy and is not always able to control herself, following her impulses without question. She is very stubborn and hard-headed, and finds it difficult to apologize at first. Despite this, she can be a loyal and steadfast friend, if you take the time to get to know her.

Appearance: Sierra, being a wyvern, is a very elastic and athletic dragon. Thin lithe limbs support her slim body, propelling her forwards quickly and easily. Spatterings of charcoal black markings contrast with the delicate spring green of her scales. Sharp, short claws tip the ends of her toes.

Power: She is fast and agile, able to stop or avoid slow and heavy attacks. She can use her mind to invade another dragon's body and force them to do something, but the cost can be enormous. Her own body is left undefended and she can use up her body's store of energy, incapacitating her for hours or days or weeks.

I wrote the personality, power, and appearance in a couple minutes, so it's more than likely that there are a lot of issues ^^'

Personality: Roseanna, like a good deal of Valentines in the past, cares deeply for the welfare of others. However, she can be influenced easily by other dragons and the evil presence lurking in her mind. This presence is the spirit of a dead dragon, and controls her body and mind to do as it wishes. Roseanna rarely challenges the spirit, feeling that she must obey its commands whatever the cost. She is aware that it causes her to hurt other dragons and herself, and feels deeply sorry for this, but she feels she is incapable of doing anything to stop herself. The spirit makes her doubt her own thoughts and actions, causing her to overthink the slightest things.

Appearance: Brilliant blue feathers sprout from Roseanna's shoulders and neck, splaying out into a ruffled crest. A single, giant, navy blue rose decorates her shoulder, contrasting with the pale white of her feathered wings. Blue ribbons of the same shade trail from her back, twirling around her thin white tail. Pale white scales cover her delicate skin, flushing to a deep pink when the spirit inside her takes over.

Power:  Her gentle nature and the simple magic of her breed allow Roseanna to heal minor injuries, like cuts and bruises and scrapes. Anything from a broken bone or a sprained joint upwards would be too taxing and time consuming for her.

Woooww, Nice job with Sierra Aye! It looks great! Don't forget the fact that she uses poison barbs tho, and I kinda don't like the "invading someone's mind" part. Poison barbs on a hyper active and somewhat hotheaded dragon is already bad enough (for the other dragons), heaven forbid. x3 That is unless Silver wanted a change in Sierra's power? Seriously tho, I feel like poison is bad enough despite the healers' presence (mostly Lineheart since she's the one other than Favian who has great knowledge of herbs.)

 

As for Roseanna having the spirit be a dead dragon is awesome in my opinion. Question is (not to be in the sheet), how'd the spirit get into Roseanne since she was born and what kind of dragon was it before it became such a spirit (optional.) It can even use some of its past experiences/memories to help Roseanna steer in his direction. Ouuhhhh the possibilities!

 

 

I give the okay for Roseanna's sheet and I ask that you tweak Sierra's just a bit. As I've suggested above, it feels to me that having Sierra's power like that is a tad bit OP even at the cost of being incapacitated plus you'd have to ask permission from the owner of the character to make their chara submit. And I'm sure that no one would want their chara to have to forcefully submit to another.

The spirit was a dead dragon the entire time. Also, it's a girl. Thos two sentences are not supposed to be rude, just so you know. I can see how someone could take it rudely. I see Sierra's powers being used in combat mostly. Sierra doesn't know she has the power yet. For now, she has only the poison. Judjing from the breed description, the poison takes a long time to produce. So most likely she wont be able to use her poison again for at least five rp days to a week.

The bit about her power was to accomodate something in her old sheet that Silver felt she couldn't explain properly.

@Doc; Seen where you had said something about me being a mod. Thanks for the thought, but I would not feel right even thinking about it since I don't think I am on enough right now to be of much help. More-so since come March I might be on less since there is talk of my Mother going through another surgery on her foot and staying with me while she recovers. Longish story on that one, but not going into it until I know for sure if that is really a sure thing.

 

@Weavile; Aw, I am very sad to see you go! I will miss you RPing Aerix. Medea will not be the same, I am sure. Though you have to do you what you need to do. Some days I wonder if it would be best if I gave my hatchlings up with how little I seem to be on, but I just can't do it. It is sad to say, but this is one of the things I look forward to when I get away and to the computer.

 

@Bacon; I am very happy to see that you are picking up Aerix! Good to see that Medea's future sparing partner is not going to go poof on her, hopefully. Though it is a little funny to think that now you have one hatchling that Medea can be around, Aerix, and another that she very much dislikes, Skylene.

Well there will be changes of course and I understand that. Just glad to see someone Medea does get along with is not going to go poof on her or die. Honestly I think Aerix is the first one that I have RPed her with that she likes. I need to have her interact with more hatchlings, but I don't think there are many that would not put a huge dislike in her or her in them.

 

Then again, even dislike/hate relationships are something so minds well.

They did interact, but not all that much. I think it was only the day they looked for Skylene, day Medea first hatched in fact. Which...was a long time ago for them.

Gender: Male

Breed: Ochredrake

Personality: Demetrio is a fun-loving drake who prefers to stay on the brighter side of life by sporting a positive attitude. He likes to interact with other dragons and does his best to help others in need. He has a strong sense of morality, as he believes in a higher power with good and evil that it governs. Demetrio also has a certain inexplicable attachment to the earth and particularly soil. While Demetrio is usually quite friendly and relaxed, he can be serious and deep when the situation calls on it. Overall, he is reliable and loyal, and values life above all other things.

Appearance: The various mutations ochredrakes are subject to have made Demetrio quite an interesting dragon, compared to the norm of his kind. Demetrio is mottled in color, being mostly brown with lighter underparts and darker limbs, instead of the more or less solid brown ochredrakes usually are. Instead of internal ears, he has longer external ears, which seem like those of a wolf, except that they have scaly spines on their tips.

Crush/Mate: None, really (interests in this character are not discouraged, but Demetrio will likely pair with another drake, if at all)

Power: Also due to the changeable characteristics of his breed, Demetrio was gifted with claws that are longer, stronger, sharper and more curved in shape than those of other dragons. These make him excellent at digging (although he cannot pierce through stone with them). While he is good at digging, he is more suited to digging burrows (living areas) rather than tunnels (pathways for transportation).

This still needs to get accepted. I would accept it now, but I want to see if the other mods see anything that needs to be changed.
