[Are we at the meeting or no?

And the people have to be in their turned forms. ^^]

((Aiden and Kieran are there as well as a draykan that's now hunting in the woods around there and I'm going to have Raven be there as well; i guess Sachi and Adstrum can be in a time bubble thing until they're done and then they'll be at the gathering as well))

Raven figured that it was almost time to go to the gathering place so she undressed, shifted to her turned form, and then headed towards the woods again but this time it was to be at the gathering and not to patrol. As she headed that way, she picked up Aiden's scent as well as Kieran's and wondered what those troublemakers were up to now. She had known them since she and the two of them were kids so she knew how they could get at times. What are you troublemakers up to now? she asked as she arrived at the place for the gathering and saw the twins near a rock and playing with rocks. She picked up the scent of a draykan but it was coming from the woods nearby and she figured that it was off hunting. She also thought that it might have been the first one there and waiting for everyone else to arrive.

((maybe you can have Rakion and a few of your other chars, including Sita possibly, start heading over there so they can be there for when it starts))

Sita walked into the clearing, raising her head and looking around. The clearing was filled with bleached, liquid moonlight. Something tells me that something's going to go wrong. she said to herself as she walked up to the branch and sat on it.

((TMD, don't forget that Connor and Narri were talking in the unknown lands))

Kieran and Aiden both looked at Raven in unison as she approached and spoke to them.

Aiden bounced playfully on his paws "Well, well, well! Look who has come to join us!" he said, wagging his tail.

Kieran nodded "Hey Raven...we're not up to anything." he said innocently.

Aiden sat down and then sat up, raising his front paws up and cocking his head, looking quite silly "Yeah. We're up to totally nothing." he let his tongue loll out of his mouth "See? Don't we just look so sweet and innocent?"

With that, Kieran moved his head up to Aiden's and cocked it, both boys taking on pathetically innocent expressions.

They had known Raven for...well, since forever, and their joking around with her was normal.

When Sita walked into the clearing though, Aiden quickly dropped to all fours and Kieran tried to look somewhat dignified in front of the alpha. Aiden just smirked and winked at Raven. He never tried to look dignified.

Raven snorted and said in reply to everything that they said with a roll of her eyes as she sat down beside Aiden, Yeah right. I bet you both tried to come here early before a draykan so that you could scare it and no you don't look so sweet and innocent. She did giggle a little bit at their acts of innocence but then quieted down a bit when Sita came into the clearing. She went down on all fours as well to show her respect for their superior and then giggled a little bit again when she saw Aiden's smirk and wink in her direction as well as Kieran's somewhat dignified look since she knew as well as the former that the latter never tried to look dignified. She then quieted down again before looking around the clearing to see if she could spot any other lycans or draykans coming towards the gathering. She knew that they were early but already she just wanted to get back to camp and go to bed early.

Aiden leaned in close to Raven "I forget: why did I come here?" Next to Kieran, Raven had been the closest person to him since childhood, and he loved hanging out with her, as well as joking around.

Kieran chuckled in response to Aiden's remark "Because, it's such a fun party." he whispered.

Aiden made an evil chuckle "I wonder what I can do to liven it up a little??"

I think it was because you wanted to scare a draykan, Raven said in reply quietly with the smallest of giggles before hearing what Kieran said and just giggled a little bit more because of it. Then when she heard what Aiden said last along with his evil chuckle she said, Don't you dare do anything to ruin the gathering even if it hasn't started yet. You'll get in trouble with Sita and Javon and I'll knock you upside the head when we get back to camp. She knew what he meant when he said "liven it up a little" and that usually consisted of a riot or some other such obnoxious act. If he did that or whatever else to cause mischief, he'd get in big touble with the alphas and she didn't want him to get in trouble.

Taking off quickly, Aki remembered the meeting and dashed off to try and arrive on time. She nearly missed the deer and the draykan below, but only paid attention to it out of the corner of her eye. If she was late Tahlon would be mad, because was important enough to be there. At least she thought she was. She would have to ask him on that at the meeting. She also hoped that it wouldn't be too boring, and that there wouldn't be a war. Wars were messy. On the fly adjustment of plans... heh, on the fly, that was funny.

Fenrir tugged, his jaw clenched around a piece of rope; the other end of which was being held by several young pups, a game of tug of war had begun.

Despite his age, Fenrir much rather preferred to goof off and play, rather then partake in his responsibilities. It was not rare for others to see him acting just as boisterous as a pup and getting into all sorts of trouble, he was after all raised by one of the pup sitters and was surrounded by younger lycan's a lot of the time.

His upbringing is one of the main reasons why some of the older Lycans tend to get frustrated with him. Whilst he has shown the potential to be a valuable asset in terms of combat and hunting, it is his lack of discipline that aways comes to bite him in the rear. Some of the elder lycan's, former warrior themselves believe the lack of a strong male figure in his upbringing is the cause of this, in addition to the pampering he received from his pup sitter.

It was only when one of the other pup sitters arrived and reminded him about the meeting, that Fenrir stopped thislittle game. Releasing the rope from his mouth, he watched as the pups rolled backwards, the sudden lack of force on the rope sending them tumbling backwards; causing Fenrir to roll over in laughter.

"The meeting..!" reminded the pup sitter again. Fenrir bolted up and began sprinting towards the area, only looking back to thank the older lycan; as she proceeded to call in the pups.

Vrael looked skyward as he sensed the presence of another close by, It was Aki and she seemed to be in a rush; it was a rare sight to see her in such a state, as opposed to her taking part in one of her pranks. Judging from the direction she was heading in, it was evident that she was off to the clearing; the area where the meeting was gonna take place.

Granted, her higher position in the tribe meant she had more responsibilities then a warrior, but still seeing her in a serious state was rather odd; at least for Vrael.

He began to pace on the spot; now in his human form, wondering whether or not it would be wise to not attend this meeting, he was after all near the designated location and there was a chance that the drummer; Aki had seen him below.

Vrael could only assume that this meeting would be another snore fest, a tedious gathering of the two tribes where only what the higher ranks said really mattered and besides; if there was anything important he needed to know; he could always ask a fellow Draykan.

At this point in time there was more reason for him not to go, then to go.

Aiden wagged his tail slightly, but tried to put on a pouty face "Aww.... No fun? Drat." he looked at Kieran "We'd better behave, or we'll get Raven-bit."

Kieran nodded with a smirk "Yeah. Nothing worse than getting Raven-bit."

Aiden sighed "Well, we're warriors. Guess we better act like it."

Kieran suddenly took on a completely serious face, and both guys sat up straight and tall, like statues on either side of Raven. Only, Aiden didn't share his brother's serious face. He smirked, but held as still as stone, wondering how long it would take for he and Kieran to annoy Raven with their stock still act of vigilance.

Fenrir was sprinting through the forest now, his wolf like frame weaving in and out of the tree's, ducking under a half fallen trunk; part of its trunk still attached to the base, the result of a lightning strike. At one point he even crawled through a hollowed out log; his immatureness taking over momentarily.

He was sure he was near the meeting site now, his sense of smell already beginning to pick up the faint scent of other Lycans, including the Alpha female. He froze, was he already late? he couldn't afford to be late, not after messing up during one of the recent hunts; he had jumped the gun and caused a wild hog to bolt, thus ruining the plan to ambush it.

He continued to head to the site, his demeanor far less energetic then before. He was already assuming the worst, that he would be late and therefore get into trouble; again. As he approached the clearing, he stuck his head out from behind one the tree trunks and looked outwards.

It felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders; not everyone had arrived yet. He began to walk over to the stream of water in order to quench the thirst he had just worked up.

Raven just sighed and rolled her eyes a bit when she heard everything that Aiden and Kieran said before they took up statue like stances on both sides of her. I didn't say that you couldn't have fun just that you didn't get in trouble while having fun, she said after a few minutes of silence. Unless you call getting in trouble fun then never mind. She sighed again but this time out of boredom before she looked at both twins and then smirked a bit as she decided to have a little fun on her own. She poked both of them in the side a couple of times to see if she would get any reactions out of them. She was a little annoyed at their stoic stances but not too much. She knew that they were trying to see how long it took for her to get annoyed but she was also doing the same thing to them but just a different way than them as well as to see how long they could keep the statue pose up for.

Aki landed on a branch, hoping that she wasn't late. Well, it looked like she was early. Tahlon and the others weren't here yet. She wondered if they could see her from where they were. Yeah, it was a clearing after all. She didn't want to go down there, though, since she wasn't good at combat and she would be outnumbered. It was a hundred percent chance of death if she attacked. She remained silent as she waited for the other Draykans to arrive. If they already had though, she probably had just glazed over them when she noticed the lycans.

Fenrir was moments away from taking a sip of the water when he stopped. A new scent was permeating through the air now, a scent that he had not detected upon arrival and it was not a scent that he recognized.

He lifted his head up, so that his nose was skyward as he continued to sniff the air; each second getting closer and closer to pinpointing the location of the new scent. At the back of his mind he wondered if the other lycans were just as perplexed as he was.

His head suddenly pointed towards the direction of a tree; the source of this new smell causing him to growl ever so slightly; it was a Draykan.

Perhaps had he been more experienced he would have kept his composure; but that was not the case. As it stood, his ears were pulled back, his eyes narrowed and his tail pointed straight out as he stared at it suspiciously. He knew that this was a meeting between the two tribes, but he just couldn't keep calm.

While he focused on the Draykan a tinge of excitement was growing within him; was this going to be a chance for him to prove to the other warriors and one of the Alpha's that he had what it took to be considered a warrior? He took a step forward, his hind legs beginning to tremble in excitement and his tail beginning to wag ever so slightly.

Ryu-en, in his preferred human form, stalked through the forest. His destination was dead ahead. He held his powerful war bow loosely in one hand, and his dual tomohawks were tucked into his belt. His hunting bow was unstringed and in his quiver,where it usually was when he wasn't hunting. He would essentially be ready for a fight in an instant, although it wasn't necessary. He was currently in neutral territory, and any Lycans would be fools to attack him, a Draykan, lest they gain a disadvantage against the opposin clan. Besides, it was the full moon, a night of peace.

So why was a rouge such as he doing so close to the clan territory? The monthly meeting was taking place that night, and he intended to give the clans a little visit. If he could scout out the clans' plans, he could plan accordingly. Of course, the other rouges, who were mostly hybrids, wouldn't really have such an advantage. He soon came to an area where the forest began loosening its choking hold, which signified that the moonlight clearing was ahead. He stopped and crouched low, hiding himself partially behind a tree. He wasn't as well hidden as he would have wished, but it was a good place to wait until others had arrived. He could then meld with the crowd, and hopefully no-one would notice him as an outsider once the meeting of the clans had begun.

Aiden tried his best, but he was slightly ticklish, and Raven poking him in the ribs was....well, he lost his composure and started chuckling until he finally moved away with a sudden fuzz up of his fur.

"Hey!" he said loudly with a laugh "Cut it out..." and he bounded up and pounced at her with a playful growl.

Kieran kept his composure much better, and when Aiden started bouncing around, he got up and quietly moved away.

He spotted Fenrir. He was walking toward the other wolf to say hi, when he suddenly noticed a new smell on the air, and he noticed that Fenrir became tense and excited.

Kieran raised his nose and distinctly caught the scent of another....someone in human form, because of the faint scent of sweat.

He raised his tail and put his warrior senses on high alert, barking a warning to alert the others around.

He moved closer to Fenrir, hoping that Aiden would get in on the game instead of the game he was currently playing.

Raven giggled a bit at Aiden's reaction and said in reply with the best smile that she could conjure in her turned form as well as sparkling eyes, Gotcha. When he bounded and pounced at her while making a playful growl, she did the same before she heard Kieran bark a warning as well as Fenrir's growl. Her ears pricked forward a bit out of curiosity and wondered why her other childhood friend and a fellow lycan were behaving the way that they were. She then looked up in the tree where both of them were looking and saw a draykan there. She wondered why it was there instead of on the ground but didn't have that thought for long when she headed over to where Kieran and Fenrir were. What's wrong? she asked them curiously with a slight tilt of her head and with a curious expression on her face. It's probably just here early for the gathering like us.

One of them spotted her. Oh, she was downwind, duh. Not to mention she had misaligned their line of sight. "Don't think of trying anything. I haven't made a move." Not to mention that they were starting the meeting. Soon, not now, but clearly threatening a Drummer was aggressive behavior. If he ended up attacking or starting a fight, then there could very well be an act of war. With the tensions between the clans rising, she wouldn't be surprised if something so minor started a full blown war.

Fenrir's body was trembling in excitement as the others joined in; the moment Kieran barked, Fenrir made a small lunge forward, his two front feet raisin off the ground, before slamming back down a few inches in front.

As things stood it looked like he would have a chance to show the others he was capable of being a warrior, that was until Raven joined in, her composed assessment of the situation dimming down the anticipation of a fight.

"Then... then why is she hiding in a tree" replied Fenrir, not removing his eyes off the target. "She... she was planning to ambush one of us... why else would she be hiding.." he suggested, jumping to conclusions like he had done several times before, his naivety once again creeping up on him.

Vrael took to the sky, his decision made. There was the chance that the drummer had noticed his presence and he did not want to risk her noticing his absence from the meeting; had she not seen him, then he would have avoided the meeting altogether and feign ignorance when questioned after; however sadly for him that was not the case.

For now he would endure the tedious gathering in favor of staying out of trouble.

Ryu-en slid silently further back into the undergrowth. The commotion and excited yipping from the wolf-men meant that they had found something. Or someone. Namely him. They wouldn't attack, but he intended on remaining hidden, for fear of being discovered by the other dragon-men as an imposter.

Dried mint leaves, he remembered his adopted father Jen saying, when crushed, provide exelent scent cover. And, as per normal, he spoke the truth. A few leaves could cover all but the scent of a bear that just waded through a swamp full of dead fish. Even then, it would provide some confusion. He took one of these leaves out of a fur pouch, and crushed it in his hand, then scattering the small leaflets into the wind mor maximum effect. He rubbed the heavy scent of mint off of his hand, and resumed the seemingly endless waiting...

((RD they're supposed to be in their turned forms for the gathering))

Raven sighed a bit before asking in reply to what Fenrir said, Why would she ambush us when this is neutral ground when there's a gathering? If we fight here between the other tribe then it'll just cause a war later and we don't want that. Besides she's probably just in the tree to get a better viewpoint for when the gathering starts later. She knew that Fenrir was a scout of sorts but was also trying to strive to be a warrior like her, Aiden, and Kieran and that sometimes his naivety got the better of him as well as his jumping to conclusions like he was doing now. She remembered doing the same thing when she was just barely a warrior but now she knew not to do that before she found out more information. She hoped that Fenrir would learn to do the same before he might accidentally cause a really bad situation later.

[~Fenrir~]

"I.. I don't know..." he whined slightly as the chances of him getting to show the warriors what he was capable off was slipping away."... but.. but she was acting.. suspicious... she could have just shown herself... instead... instead of hiding...y'know... don't you.. don't you think its suspicious>" he looked up at her, then back at Raven "... you can't trust those Draykans.." he spoke, in a softer voice, "... they.. they might still attack even though this ground is neutral.... you can't... you can't trust their kind...."

Fenrir took a step forward so that he was closer to the tree, "Oi.. oi you... Oi... Oi Draykan!, what are you planning?!" Fenrir just couldn't contain himself, his lack of discipline and immaturity getting the best of him. He was fully convinced that she was up to no good in that tree.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[~Phaine~]
Phaine sat atop a large boulder which rested against the mountainside, he had a clear view of the clearing in front and when the meeting began he would be able to watch with relative ease. He had noticed the Draykan's arrival from the skies, but saw no need to alert the others about her presence, not that it mattered after the latest arrival singled her out.
Had their been the chance of a conflict arising from such a foolish move by the scout, then he would have rushed to assist his fellow kin, however with the other warriors arriving and seemingly containing the situation, he remained situated in his spot.
He had no intention of leaving this spot to join the others, his solitary nature and reluctance to mingle with Lycan's whose bloodline has not been tainted by shame a factor in his actions. Whilst he could control how he appeared and to an extent what the others thought of him, he could never change the damage his father brought upon their family; he was the son of an Omega and nothing would change that.
The faint odor of mint was becoming increasingly present in the air.
It didn't take long for Aiden to stop what he was doing and get in on the conversation with the others. He looked up at the tree quizzically and then back at Fenrir and Kieran "So it's a chick up a tree? Not a threat to our livelyhood." he said, sitting down and scratching an ear "Seriously Fenrir, relax man. And Kieran, this is neutral territory. According to the rules, we can't take up a defensive stance." he snorted slightly and added under his breath "Not that rules ever really applied to us." he glanced at Raven, wondering if she would catch that. He was the best rule breaker there was and....well, Raven tried to keep him in line, to say the least. He liked it actually. It made her fun.
Kieran continued to smell the air. Obviously he and Fenrir had been smelling TWO different things. The one in the tree was NOT what he was smelling.
"No wait." Kieran said, his nose twitching "There is something else. I smelled sweat of an unfamiliar person."
He sniffed the air some more, but the scent of crushed mint began to overwhelm his scenes and whaft the other smell away.
"It's being masked now. There IS someone here who really does not want to be seen." he growled.
Not that it made any difference in the neutral territories, but it irritated him that there was someone unfamiliar to him who was purposely hiding.
