Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) Updated to here! Thanks so much for listing your newest additions, Infinis and mandrakekeeper! I've finally added some of my own dragons to the first post above what I'd originally listed, too. If you see anything amiss, please let me know and I'll fix it ASAP! I do think all the bred Blacks are alts...maybe this is a new world order. Only the old Black sprites will come from CB Blacks, and all bred Blacks will be alts? Conspiracy theory! I also wanted to cheer that I was able to secure a Holly IOU for this December from a very reliable breeder!!! The pairing will be Holly x Winter. Once the IOU is fulfilled, I'll make the offspring available to listers--and will develop some kind of plan for gifting the Holly offspring to a lister come December 2013. (lol, I'm a planner--to a fault.) Of course, let's all hope we get some good donors / great AP luck this year, so we can spread the Holly love all the quicker. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Again, let me know if I've missed anything. I hope all's well, and have a lovely evening! EDIT: Oh man, and the eggs that Infinis and mandrakekeeper have gifted--sooo pretty! Posted April 19, 2012 (edited) well i tried my new red stripe ( http://dragcave.net/lineage/vrSPP ) out with my blue ( http://dragcave.net/lineage/VOs44 ) and they refused each other! argh! i tried for a sibling of the red stripe and got a green egg ( http://dragcave.net/lineage/Qjrt7 ) so the question is: should i use the new green egg as the potential partner for the blue stripe?? - as long as it genders correctly and they don't refuse. or should i just go with this stripe( http://dragcave.net/lineage/d0fAF ) as the partner for the blue stripe?? my other 4th gen stripes that i have so far are: http://dragcave.net/lineage/t2vqs - this mostly green lineage ribbon dancer stripe and this red egg that i already influenced male - http://dragcave.net/lineage/O6nnA i'm trying my ribbons out to see if i can get one that doesn't have so much green in it. i'm going to have soooooo many 3rd and 4th gen dragons from the same base pair dragons due to trying to build this particular 7th even gen lineage. in addition, i've gotten 10 second gen stripes from ribbon dance that are not related (i believe) so i decided to try and get 6 more 2nd gens and try and build an 5th even gen stripe with all stripe X ribbon dancer base. i know, i'm completed nuts! Sorry to hear about the refusal...I always do a double take when something like that happens with a carefully crafted pair. Good question about the pairing...it'd be awesome for others to weigh in, but here are my two cents: choosing between the Green Stripe or this White Stripe, I'd personally go with the White Stripe. I like how there's a switch between colored stripes for each generation, if that makes sense. Good luck, sounds like you have a lot of combos you can work on--it's awesome! The breed could represent Scrooge's torment as he progresses through the final visit of the night. Let me know, and I'll happily add! Updates for myself: My Silver is nearly grown, then I can attempt to breed a Silver x SW for you, Kimoko_the_Dragon! Once I'm unlocked, I'll breed some additional eggs to gift to the thread, too. I was actually so miffed, Yule Celebration and Dark Christmas Tidings refused each other! The nerve! I'll build them each suitable mates, hopefully they'll come around. Silly dragons! Additional update: Kimoko_the_Dragon, my CB Silver didn't produce anything but he didn't refuse his intended--so it's just a matter of time. Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) i have my 2nd 5th even gen for my mini lineage. it is with the winter magi and holly segments: http://dragcave.net/lineage/ijHTq my 1st 5th gen hatched today so i have to wait for it to gender to influence this new egg. my gold wings are on cool down for 4 more days so i can't try for their 4th gen until then but i have the partner waiting for it when i do finally get an appropriate 4th gen from them. all that will leave is getting my yulebucks to cooperate and figuring out a partner for it..... maybe I'll use the left over dragons that i collected while trying to build these different segments. at least until i can get either 4 Christmas alt 2nd gens or this coming Christmas' dragons come out.... panthera1: i'll be trying my yulebucks again when i have room. i'm hoping for workable eggs from them but if either of them give another black egg, i'll send it your way.
