I don't think I'm going to open an official list for this pairing...just breed them every week and offer them. Brilliant. Thanks to everyone for the kind comments on the Moonstone/Neb lineage. Eventually, I gave up on trying to get specific eggs from specific pairs (because it was driving me INSANE) and just focussed on getting the right-coloured Nebulas from whichever pairs would produce them, then breeding mates. Once I did that, I made progress much faster, though I did still have alting Nebs to deal with. Oh, and blood sacrifices to the Dragon Gods help too! Share this post Link to post

Personally, I somehow find it less disappointing to click on a link and find that the egg is already taken than to PM someone and wait for a reply to find out. I am not sure why. If I am kind of *meh* about an egg being offered I might click on a link, but not PM. If it is something that I really want a lot though I would certainly send a PM. Not sure lazy is the word, but with only a limited # of spaces , waiting for a return PM from someone in a different time zone can be a 24 hour ordeal. If I'm locked, I'm locked, but missing something while waiting for a return pm- when I might not get the egg in question,adds one more frustrating variable to the equation. Apparently people were expecting something in return or TJ would not have put the disclaimer on the one way link! This pair and this pair are in the doghouse. >_> Yeah, that's what I found. Now if there's any question about alts or wrong colours happening, I just give all the dragons generic names to differentiate compatible pairs (like so) until I'm far enough the lineage to start giving them their proper names. I had to do a lot of renaming with the Moonstone/Nebs, but it was worth it in the end. I already had all the names saved on frozen hatchies, so that at least wasn't a problem. Posted February 8, 2012 (edited) Yay - I am so exicted I found what seems to be a mate for my second Ribbon Dancer! Ribbon Dancers always struck me as so pretty and rare and I think they know it, that I imagine male dragon falling over themselves to impress them. One of my mates, which was a kinda duh cause this image of Ribbon Dancer x Green Nebula has been seared into my mind by an infamous Pie Person due to their sig. So I have that mate set and they love each other. I didn't force that one. They just luffed each other. My other Ribbon Dancer has been a pain! But she ended up producing an egg today with a Purple Male. And as I saw them lined up on the screen, I realized how good they look together. They have a similiar body shape and stance, and the pair looks great. So I hope this one is a keeper. Has anyone else ever done much with Ribbon Dancers and Purples before? I know people are free to breed as they like, and that's how it should be, but I can't help but feel a pang thinking about all those potential even gens, lost. I guess that makes me a snob!
