It was a Gemshard egg, so there's a pretty low chance it would color right, but thank you for keeping an eye out. It always stinks when stuff like that happens. *sighs*

I was finding a lot of second gen "fails" in the AP and decided to do a lineage with them. http://dragcave.net/lineage/DINZV The second gens are all from eggs I found in the AP, except for several that Lantean Pegasus donated to the cause.

So I've been playing with this and finally got a 3rd gen silver from celestial to progress. It's working with some 2nd gen silver dragons who refused one particular winter solstice, so that's why it's inbred.

Once I get a mate for him (another refusing dragon) I can get this to 5th gen. I'm not too worried about sticking to the exact pattern, cause I just want to get some use from these guys.

Out of curiosity, has anyone else taken leave of their senses and decided to do a lineage like this? Just wondering whether it'd be possible to swing a bloodswap come Valentine's or not! I can also breed a sibling to the mother; the father was a lucky AP scoop.

I was excited to start a lineage with frills after their re-release, and I was really excited to do them with skywings because not only do I love those, they both also have eggs with "strange markings" in the cave. So I was inspired to do the lyrics from Strange Highways by Dio to match with the description!

 

Unfortunately my idea for a true checker had to fall to the wayside since, well, ratios. But, I've finished with a neat sixth gen frill.

I know that 3rd gen doesn't sound like much. But it took me more than a year until one of my Turpentine / Tan Ridgewing pairs finally complied.

I was working on an EG common lineage before I left for exams earlier this year... here are the dragons I have so far:

2g

2g (mate for above)

3g

 

With those dragons, I'll have a 5g in a few weeks

If anyone has a bunch of CB commons that aren't in the above lineages, I'd be very happy to offer Vampires, offspring of final lineage, or basically anything on my scroll in return

I do plan to make use of the newly-released breeds, once I catch them all.

I got the father in 2014 (probably from the AP, so thanks, patterns ). I had been playing for less than a year at the time and was in the possession of - ta-daa! - 2 CB female Blusangs and 2 CB male Ice Dragons. But I really wanted to continue the line.

So, whenever I got a Trio Dragon, I'd try to exchange it for an Ice. I also started hunting in the Coast a lot to find more Blusangs (which, luckily, obliged quite often). I started trading 2nd gens, and I started breeding (somehow, many pairings were not obliging at all ). It took me until now to get to 7th gen.

 

Now I need to overcome the urge immediately to influence every Ice egg to become male, and I might even see a male Blusang sprite on my scroll again!
