Broskii Region... a new region, a new adventure

The Pidgey perched on Lynn's head sat down and got itself comfortable to watch the battle. It, too, was curious to see how the trainer would do against the Sentret.

"Let's go, Gill!" Lynn exclaimed, tossing the Wooper's Poke Ball into the air. With a burst of light, the Water Fish Pokemon popped out in front of the Sentret.

"Woopah!" he growled challengingly.

Lynn clapped her hands together. "Let's start with a Tail Whip!" At his master's command, Gill turned around and shook its rear cutely at the Sentret in an attempt to lower its guard.

woshiico0kie ~ As Morty got closer to the tall grass, a Hoppip(lvl 4) came from it. The pink-ish pokemon began to float around with the "happy" face for what its species was known for...

((I don't suggest using the pokemon you've just caught on the next battle, but in this case.. its hard not to xd.png))

Jeimuzu ~ From the bushes, a blue-ish blur came. A wild Shinx(lvl 6) used a Quick Attack on the Mudkip who was getting dangerously close to his territory. After the hit landed on the mud fish, the Shinx stopped and let out a proud "shinx!" as he saw the water pokemon roll over the ground due to his attack...

Alicia Jewel ~ As the Sentret saw the girl throwing a pokemon to battle it, It was sure its desires had come true. The racoon like pokemon stood over its tail to look bigger and scare the Wooper infront of it just before letting out a proud filled Growl on it. Before the pokemon even showed a reaction, Sentret began its attack and used its tail to jump over the water pokemon, landing behind it and used a couple of Scratch attacks before running away of it to avoid retaliation...

"Mimi, you OK?" Crystal called. Mimi nodded. She was breathing heavily now, but could go on. She ran for the Meowth with a head on Tackle, but jumped to the side and went for a side Tackle on it.

Austin grinned as the Pokeball shook for the last time. Returning his Skarmory to its Pokeball, he jogged over, inspecting his new Turtwig through the red tinted ball. He tucked it in his bag before turning to Alice, who had been patiently watching him battle and waiting for him to finish.

"Let's go back and heal our Pokemon, and then we can he out to Route 2," Austin remarked, already heading back the entrance of Pring Town.

As Mirk was bowled away from his perch, he locked hos eyes upon the Shinx with a glare. After his little barrel role, he stood straight and sturdy. Arrogance, while within the Shinx's nature, didn't seem well recieved by this trainer and pokemon.

Diomedes reacted readily. "Use Mud Slap, Mirk." The fact that Mirk was a water type meant very little in this battle; Shinx couldn't have been strong enough to have learnt an electric-type move yet, at least not through level-up. And Mirk had a Ground-type attack. Whirling his tail-fin, the Mudkip launched a great glob of hard-hitting mud at the Shinx, before following up behind the projectile to attempt a Tackle.

As it was struck by the Mud Slap, the Shinx staggered back, not at all expecting a reaction so soon, and was too distracted attempting to pry mud from its face to avoid the coordinated Tackle - it was sent back in a rolling tumble, similar to its strike against Mirk in the first place. Refusing to let on any hint of struggle, the Shinx got back up, matching the Mudkip's gaze, having to aim as besy it couod before it hurled itself forward in another Quick Attack, calling out on its running start, "Shiiinnnnxxx!"

Unfortunately, Mirk's Mud Slap had really tilted the battle in the pokemon's favour. Not seeing properly through the mud that slowed it down and clouded its sight, Shinx's attack was dodged simply, and as it darted past Mirk, surprised was the only word for its expression - Mirk, given a vast opening, hurled another Mud Slap at Diomedes' command, striking Shinx from behind and forcing it into a forward somersault across the grass. It landed with a thud into a small hedge, where it didn't stir for a few moments, not quite fainted but not feeling battle-worthy - physically or mentally. Diomedes, gently petting Mirk as he walked by, looked into the hedge to check on the Shinx before rolling two Oran berries into the undergrowth beside it. This act of indirectly healing wild pokemon he had most defeated was becoming a custom of his. At least they wouldn't be vulnerable to attack while in a weak state.

Diomedes blinked as he saw something twinkle in the corner of the greenery. Curious, he reached in and plucked it from its resting place.

((I will not be capturing this little girl.))

The small blue pokemon looked at Mia, both suddenly unsure of what they wanted. Mia did not want to capture it, she knew that for sure, but she did want to battle it. She sighed while taking out her pokedex and scanning the pokemon, which she now determined to be a Nidoran Female. Before Mia had the chance to call Mareep over to the fight, Sentret playfully jumped off of her head and onto the ground.

The meerkat-like pokemon stood on its tail, rising an extra foot or so off the ground, and hovered over the small blue pokemon below. Both seemed to be in fairly playful moods; the trainer decided it would be best to make the fight as playful as possible. Sentret needed the experience of her first real fight, but Mia was sure that she would never try to hurt a pokemon right off the bat.

"Sentret!" Mia called, "How 'bout we play a little tag?" The brown pokemon's ears eagerly piqued up, waiting to hear the rules. "You're 'it' right now, alright girl? To stop being 'it' you're gonna' have to scratch miss Nidoran over there, and then defense curl away so she can't hit ya', got it?"

Practically before Mia could even finish her sentence, Sentret had already launched a scratch, but the Nidoran F had dodged it, she being one that had also heard the rules. Sentret, being more nimble than the other, ran circles around her until a clear spot was found; she scratched Nidoran F with full force, sending the blue pokemon away a few feet. As soon as Sentret's hit had landed, she immediately rolled into a ball, defense curl taking effect and giving a slight boost to her stats.

The Nidoran, slightly upset that it had been hit so soon in their game, turned around and attempted to scratch Sentret, but the ball of brown fun easily rolled to the side, dodging her attacks. After another trial and failure, the Nidoran sat down, unhappy with herself. Sentret, being the caring pokemon that she was, released her defense curl and ran up to the blue friend. Before Mia could stop this action, Nidoran had scratched Sentret; however, Sentret's quick reflexes allowed her to pull back so she did not receive such full and complete damage.

"You got hit, girl. That means your 'it' again!" Frustrated, Sentret now began to take this game more seriously. She hated to lose; it was a trait that Mia was quickly becoming aware of. It only took two tries for Sentret to land another scratch on Nidoran, but the blue pokemon quickly retorted with a scratch of her own, immediately making Sentret 'it' once again.

Infuriated, Sentret ran up to Nidoran full speed, and jumped on top of the blue pokemon. There was a momentary look of pain in Sentret's face, but she quickly recovered and began to furiously scratch Nidoran.

"Enough!" Mia yelled, calming Sentret rather quickly. Mia herself walked up to the tired Nidoran, asking if she was okay. She was glad to see that Sentret's rival had only sustained enough damage to tire it out and make it unable to battle, but not to make it faint. She was about to grab a few berries from her pack for the blue pokemon, when a ruckus behind her was breaking lose.

Mareep was calling as loud as she could, and Lotad had scurried over to her faster than she had ever seen a Lotad move. By Mareep's feet, Sentret had fallen down. The small brown pokemon was breathing heavily and looked as if it was in extreme pain.

The Nidoran walked up to Sentret, extremely concerned, and motioned to it's own horns. Mia, unaware of the poison point ability, tried to remain calm. Unsure of what to do, she called out as loud as she could for Diomedes, hoping to get his attention.

((I'm not sure if you have anything to help with poisoning, but I figured that Diomedes could much better help the situation than Mia can. Also, so long as Ryu is alright with it, you can interact with Nidoran F if you'd like. I imagine that trainers can run into the same pokemon as other trainers have, especially if they are already hurt, or trying to help another pokemon, in Nidoran's case.))

Akira laughed and said "What did you do?" Skit huffed and said "Nya! Nya nya nya! Nya nya nya nya" Akira blinked and said "What ever you did you made Skit angry." Skit huffed and turned her back on Zaak.

Akira snorted holding back more laughter and said "I see..." She went over to Skit and bent down and said "He didn't mean to. He didn't know you weren't wild." Skit huffed and said "Nya!" Akira sighed and said "I think YOU'LL need to apologize to her, or she won't accept it."

Zaak bent down, slightly embarrassed, and promptly said "I'm sorry Skit". Not long after he heard a noise, a sort of splashing, near the river. He ran over, curious and excited, and smiled as he saw there was a wild pokemon.

Skit smiled and forgave him with a "Nya!" She wasn't one to hold grudges when they apologize sincerly. Akira sighed with relief, and was about to run after Zaak when she tripped over something...

((Dio is practically a master of utility~. And if Ryu would allow for it, that would be cool. It'd give people more of an incentive to interact with other players. Not that that is needed, really. I'll just move on from the item finding for now.))

Upon hearing his name being called, Diomedes rose back to his full height, leaving whatever item it was as he did so. Ludo, however, took it upon himself to pick it up - his trainer may want it later on, anyway.

Accompanied by his entourage of small pokemon, Diomedes strode free of the forests' shady grasp into the slight opening in which Mia stood, and took a slight glance around to piece together what was wrong before asking. He nodded when he had quickly deduced what had happened. "Sentret could use a Pecha berry, if thats the main worry." He smiled to Mia. "But don't you worry, I have plenty." Reaching into his bag, he plucked one Pecha berry free, the plump, smooth berry looking freshly picked, and suspended it to Mia. "It'll be more encouraging to her if it was given by you, though." After handing her the berry, Diomedes looked back to the two pokemon. "Nidoran's Poison Point ability." With one smooth motion, Diomedes rolled a mild poffin from his bag across the grass and towards the regret-consumed little pokemon. "Nobody's fault, by any means. Just an accident." Chopper, sat at Diomedes' feet, blinked inquisitively, and made it difficult to tell whether he was interested in what his trainer suggested or the food that was being passed around, before snapping out of it and looking to Sentret worriedly, not really understanding poison and its effects.

Jeimuzu ~ Item Found: Net Ball

Effect: Allows the player to catch wild Pokémon; works better on Water- and Bug-type Pokémon.

Shijou and Jeimuzu ~ sure, you can do that, I don't have any objection. Though, if you want to catch it Jeimuzu, Shijou would have to control "the reactions" of the Nidora F since she was the last one to control the pokemon. After that, and if you catch it, you will have complete control over her.

Me ~ After leaving behind the Nidoran Female he found, Kaiser had reached to a clear in the route. He moved along with Bagon to a tree's shade to have some rest after almost an entire day of walking. Once they got there, they sat and rest there.. untill they got asleep. After about an hour of deep slumber, a rustling noise caught their attention. Kaiser's eyes opened to see what was causing it and found a Starly(lvl 6) was staring at the two of them. What the pokemon wanted was a mistery, but it seemed really interested in them...

Alice smiled at Austin, "Wonderful, now we've both gained something~! My Pokemon have a new level, yours have a new companion." She began, "You still wanna look around for more Pokemon, or are you good?" Alice herself wanted another Pokemon but she felt as though everything here were Pokemon she could find anywhere.

"Uhm, I'm good I think. 2 Pokemon seems like more than enough for now. Let's go back and heal at the Pokemon Center before we head out," Austin replied, straightening his pack on his shoulder. He was hoping to get a quick sketch of his new Turtwig at the Pokemon Center as well. He hoped to do that of all of his Pokemon.

"Well, okay then~!" Alice replied joyfully, wandering back towards the town from the direction they came to the route from. This was just the beginning of her long journey... Her journey to becoming the best of the best... Or at least, better than her older brother.

Out of the rustling grass came a small pink body with two green leaves attached to its head, or its body. Morty was rather amused by this pokemon and decided that he should capture it. But first, the obligatory PokeDex scan for the Professor. After all, he was going on this journey, partly thanks to and because of the Professor. Once that was done, he kept his PokeDex back into his pocket and with his other hand that was grasping Sora’s pokeball, Morty called her out. ”Come on out, Sora!” The Tiny Pigeon pokemon cooed and got ready for battle. This was her first battle under Morty, so Morty was not so sure that she would listen very well. Then again, the only moves she knew were Gust and Growl, so nothing much could go wrong. Morty gave his first command. ”Alright Sora, start off with a Gust attack!” Sora rised up from the ground and began flapping her wings, which were glowing blue. Sparkling blue streams of energy turn into billows of wind that were aimed towards the Hoppip. Morty hoped that the Cottonweed pokemon would not be blown away by that, if not he would have to send Sora after it.

Austin took the liberty of running ahead of Alice, reaching Pring Town and its Pokemon Center before her. Walking up to Nurse Joy, he pulled out 2 Pokeballs and placed them on the counter separating the two. Nurse Joy nodded, placing them into a machine. She pressed a button on the elaborate contraption, which then caused the machine to glow, almost. A small tune began emitting from the machine. Austin turned around while this happened, glancing about the center and waiting for Alice.

Alice took her sweet time returning to the Pokemon Center. She wasn't in much of a hurry, that, and she wanted to irritate Austin just a little. It's what she did best; irritate people. She laughed a little then turned to Poochyena, "Come on boy, let's get you all better." She began making her way back to the Pokemon Center slowly, but surely. She entered the Pokemon Center about ten minutes later, coming in to see a waiting Austin.

Austin honestly wasn't that irritated, though he still was a little. After Nurse Joy had returned his Skarmory and Turtwig, both fully healed, he went ahead and released Turtwig, starting to sketch. The sketch took no more than 5 minutes, but like the others were amazingly realistic. After that was done, he returned Turtwig to its Pokeball, plopped down on a nearby chair, and quickly decided what to do. Pulling out his art supplies, Austin decided on a medium (colored pencil), pulled out a couple of shades of green, and carefully began to color in the drawing of Turtwig he had made, using a mixture of all the colors he had picked out. This process took much, much longer than the drawing portion, so he was barely done with one of Turtwig's leaves that was on the top of its head when Alice walked in.

"Hey," he said, not bothering to look up. He just continued to work, perfecting the shading on the leaf he had just finished before starting on the other. He knew he had time before they had to pack up and go. It would take a little bit for Alice to heal her Pokemon anyways.

poke ~ The Meowth could see the Bulbasaur running towards it. The cat prepared its paws to retaliate with another Scratch, but something happened, the grass pokemon jumped to another direction, maybe to change the attack... wrong choice. Meowth smiled and as it saw the Bulbasaur landing on a side to try another Tackle, it jumped over its bulb and began to use Scratch several times on the plant beast as she moved. The repeated damage caused to the Bulbasaur made it too much for the grass starter to continue and fainted. Meowth jumped off of the beaten pokemon and glared at the girl as if daring her to throw another pokemon...

((saying that your pokemon goes in one direction and then "jumps" to change it, only makes the energy moving in said direction to be wasted, and thus, the attack misses))

akiraa ~ Item Found: Heal Ball

Effect: Fully heals a pokemon caught with this pokeball

stromzone and akiraa ~ A Starly came flying from above the girl and before she could realized of what she had found, the bird picked up the item and left flying in the direction which Zaak have taken. Momments later the bird gathered with a Lotad (both lvl 5) who had just came up with the boy. Knowing this could be fun, the Starly began to caw its name several times for the girl to follow it and the bird and Lotad could have a double battle against the humans...

woshiico0kie ~ The happy Hoppip smiled as the wind blew to it. Not very bright on its side since the same wind it found refreshing was now hurting its body. The hits pushed it some feet away in the air. Luckily, it was thrown up and not back. After the wind stopped blowing, and hurting it, the pokemon came back to the boy and the bird who had just hurt it. Its happy face changed to an angry one. The body of the pokemon got bigger as its mouth could barely stay closed. It then released the pressure and began to spit seed after seed to the bird and the boy. The Seed Bomb proved itself strong as the hard shelled seeds balsted on the birds body pushing it back to the ground. The Hoppip smiled, the only attacking move it had proved to be usefull in battle...

Alice nodded in reply to Austin as she approached the counter for the second time that day. Setting a Pokeball on the counter, along with her Poochyena who allowed himself to be picked up and dropped on the counter. Alice returned him the his own ball then set it down for Nurse Joy who took them away. Alice leaned against the counter as she waited patiently. Moments later, Nurse Joy returned to Alice with her Pokemon. Feeling abd as she return ovver to Austin, Alice allowed her Zigzagoon out of his Pokeball along with Poochyena. She felt as if she neglected the small Zigzagoon. Not once had he seen action since he was captured.
