Broskii Region... a new region, a new adventure

Austin nodded, returning Skarmory with a beam of red light to move faster. "Can you keep up?" he questioned, already breaking into a brisk pace. They were almost to Pring Town, after all, and he didn't want to waste any time. Skarmory wasn't injured very badly, but he wanted to be absolutely sure he made it there before the cruise did, no taking any chances.

"You have no idea who you're talking to!" Alice shouted, sprinting after him, easily keeping his pace, maybe even a little faster. Her whole body wanted to stop and take a nap but she just kept running, trying to keep up with the boy. She remembered her Zigzagoon in her pocket, it was probably low on energy as well as her Poochyena.

The pair soon reached the small Pring Town, not far from where they were when they met. When they reached the town, Austin's eye was immediately drawn to the prominent park the village was known for. It wasn't the peaceful area he was expecting. Destroyed and all in all a total mess, it seemed to be blocked off from the general public for repairs and safety purposes.

 

"Whoa," Austin muttered, scanning the town. His eye was always drawn back to the wrecked park. "What happened here?"

Alice's eyes rested on the demolished park. She had come here when she was little to play on the playground but it was destroyed! "What the- It's destroyed!" She exclaimed. The park was in pieces, debris everywhere from whatever ruined the wonderful site. She watched men clearing out the area, preparing to build a whole new park, "What do you think happened?" Alice asked.

Crystal looked over at the boy and girl. "Mimi. Can you handle the Lillipup while I'm gone?" she asked. Mimi nodded and turned back to the wild Pokemon. Meanwhile, Crystal walked up to the two. "Um I heard that this place was attacked during contests and battles.' Crystal told them.

"well... I'm not sure who was, but a group of clowns attacked the park while the Tournaments and Constests where being held... it was awfull, lots of people got injured and some trainers and pokemon where kidnapped"

"Th-That's terrible!" Lynn exclaimed. "Why would they do something like that...?" She lowered her head, briefly wondering what the Pidgey's reaction was, assuming it was still with her.

 

A few moments later, she heard a couple of other trainers nearby; they were also commenting on the destruction. She turned toward them and recognized the trainer who had helped her fight off the Bulbasaur and Bidoof the day before. She walked to them. "Hey," she murmured.

"Hey" Crystal said looking away from the two trainers to see the girl from the day before. "Do you know what happened here?" she asked the girl.

Austin shrugged. He honestly had no clue what had happened. His guess was as good as anyone else's. Beside the people who were there, of course. "Let's ignore that for now," he remarked, instead heading to a red-roofed building. "You wanted to heal your Poochyena, right?"

As Mia alerted him with excitement in her voice, Diomedes looked to the rustling undergrowth. Mirk gripped his trainer's headband anxiously. Ludo, having been enjoying his walk with the fellow Lotad, simply turned to look; After his tournament debut, he was done with battling unless Diomedes insisted.

 

Diomedes rose an eye row at the confidence this little Shinx that burst from bushes. Despite not knowing electric-based attacks, it seemed eager to show off its electric-type status. He didn't scan the little pokemon with his pokedex; Diomedes was well-aquainted with many pokemon, and those native to the area around his own home were quite analytically memorised.

 

Diomedes looked to Mia as Shinx issued its challenge. He gave a grin. "Ladies first." He stated simply, stepping to the side with his pokemon - Chopper still in his own little explorations, not far away but certainly not paying attention.

Alice nodded and made her way to the Pokemon Center, slowly removing her two Pokeballs from her messenger bag and keeping them in her hands. She walked towards the doors and the sensor above the door opened the automatic doors into the building. She approached the counter and placed her Pokeballs on it, "A quick heal, Nurse Joy?" Alice asked. She watched as Joy took the balls and placed them in a machine.

finally, today was the day that edmon could get his pokemon. Since his father died her mother wouldn't let him go on his journey. But since his mother died not long ago he was now free, he was waiting for this moment for a long time, not that he didn’t like his mother he actually loved her but he was now free to start his own journey. He was waiting for this moment since he was 10. Today was the day the professor organized a meeting with him for edmon to get his pokemon. Edmon just couldn’t wait. He finished eating his breakfast as fast as he could and when he was done he ran out the door to the professor’s lab , he ran as fast as he could he just couldn’t wait. He finally arrived and he was exhausted from his run, as he went to step in some automatic doors opened. He quickly turned to the nearest person who worked there and said. ‘’ mmhm... hello, where can I find the professor ? ‘’ he said to the lady. ‘’oh, just around the corner over there , you must be edmon right the professor is waiting for you’’ she said as she pointed out where to go. Edmon quickly jogged to where the professor was, as he entered the room he could see the professor standing next to this weird machine. ‘’ hello im edmon ‘’ he said to the professor. ‘’ ah ! edmon hello , I was waiting for you. ‘’ he said. "This computer chooses your partner Pokemon based on your personality," explained the Professor. "Just place your hand on the scanner and it will display 3 Pokemon for your choosing." He said to edmon as he saw him place his hand.

Mia looked at Diomedes and quickly stepped forward, scanning the Shinx and then motioning to Mareep. "Come on, girl." She called, seemingly begging the sheep. The yellow pokemon inched forward to the fellow electric type, and quickly puffed up her fur, letting small sparks dance across the wool.

 

"Alright, let's start this off by building up some static, Mareep!" Mareep lurched forward, none to eagerly, keeping her feet planted on the ground. The sheep had no intention of listening to her trainer, and decided she would battle her own way.

 

She began by letting forth a growl to which the Shinx practically laughed off. The confident cub sat down, not intimidated at all by the Sheep. Agrivated, Mareep stood and charged at Shinx, who coyly dodged the attack while simultaneously mocking the domesticated pokemon. Angered even more, Mareep launched another tackle at Shinx complimented with the most fearsome growl she could muster; she missed again, the Shinx this time laughed in Mareep's face while distracting her by hitting her playfully with the star upon its tail.

 

"Mareep!" Mia called, unable to speak before that moment, out of shock. "Let me help you." She pleaded, but the sheep looked away.

 

The Shinx, unable to understand why the sheep would not listen to such an agreeable character, launched a tackle at Mareep, landing directly on her left side. She simply was not fast enough to dodge the nimble lion's attempts, and she quickly became distraught.

 

Mia sighed, watching the scene unfold to be even worse. Concern for Mareep was welling inside of her, as she watch the pokemon unsuccessfully try to dodge attacks. "Hey!" She yelled, gaining the Shinx's attention. Mareep took full advantage of the momentary distraction, and tackled the Shinx, pushing it about five feet away. "Mareep, it's time ta' listen ta' me."

 

Reluctantly, she did so as Mia called for her to build up Static by brushing against the Shinx's own charged fur. Mareep quickly launched tackles, first running head on, and at the last minute edging off so she merely brushed against the blue kitten. The Shinx stood confused for a moment, but after three of the motions, the fourth time Shinx pushed against Mareep as she passed on the side; this sent Mareep flying, but also paralyzed Shinx.

 

"Now girl, tackle 'em from the blind spots!" It was the tactic that Mia had used in every other battle, the one that Mareep was quite accustomed too. Shinx could not move from where it stood and, unable to see where the Sheep was, took each tackle at full force; two landed directly before the Shinx could move again. The blue cat tried to tackle Mareep, but simply could not gain enough speed with the Paralysis, and watched as Mareep easily dodged the attacks.

 

"One more time, girl. I think that Shinx has almost had it." This time, Mareep complied easily, yesterday's failure far from her mind. The first tackle missed; Shinx had predicted the movement and ducked before Mareep had jumped to its side. The second, however, landed full force on its right hindquarter, pushing the Shinx into a tree. It tried to stand one last time, but was completely exhausted from the battle, and lay down instead.

 

"Good job, Mareep!" Mia called, quickly pulling out a paralyze heal and two berries. She fed one to Mareep, who seemed to be at ease with her trainer again, and one to the Shinx, giving back a bit of energy it had lost. "This might hurt, now, hold still." She sprayed the paralyze heal on, the Shinx flinching a bit, but standing soon after, content to be healed. With a quick running circle around Mia, the lion cub pranced off into the forest. Mia then drew her attention to Diomedes.

 

"Shall we continue on?" She asked and soon walked, staying relatively close to the boy.

"Hey" Crystal said looking away from the two trainers to see the girl from the day before. "Do you know what happened here?" she asked the girl.

"I heard that a group of... of clowns attacked yesterday," Lynn began slowly. "It was really bad... Some trainers got kidnapped, and a lot of others were hurt..." She let out a sigh. Part of her was glad that she hadn't been there, but the rest of her almost felt a little guilty. Maybe she could have helped fight against them...

kunailby ~ The screen whirled around black shapes of potential Pokemon. Like a casino slot machine, the three slots started to fill up with the dark sillouetts. BEEP! The first pokemon appeared and the computer spoke.

 

"Magnemite, the Magnet Pokémon. Magnemite floats in the air by emitting electromagnetic waves from the units at its sides. These waves block gravity. This Pokémon becomes incapable of flight if its internal electrical supply is depleted."

 

The computer continued to spin through the slots. BEEP! The second Pokemon was chosen.

 

"Shellder, the Bivalve Pokémon. At night, this Pokémon uses its broad tongue to burrow a hole in the seafloor sand and then sleep in it. While it is sleeping, Shellder closes its shell, but leaves its tongue hanging out."

 

Once again the computer spun its last slot. BEEP! The final Pokemon was chosen.

 

"Gible, the Land Shark Pokémon. It nests in horizontal holes warmed by geothermal heat. Foes who get too close can expect to be pounced on and bitten. It attacks using its huge mouth. While its attacks are powerful, it hurts itself out of clumsiness, too."

 

The professor stepped aside of the machine to let Edmon choose his pokemon. Meanwhile he went to a side of the Lab to bring him a Pokedex and the five pokeballs for him to have a way of catching pokemon right when he begins his journey.

Austin waited for Alice to heal her pokemon in the corner of the Pokemon Center. His Skarmory barely had a scratch on it, so he decided not to heal it. He was waiting when he spotted a big poster nearby. Reading it, his expression turned into frustration and rage. Seething with anger, he stomped about, trying to cool down. The poster read:

 

NOTICE:

 

Due to the recent turmoil here, Delarne Cruise #1 will NOT be stopping here and instead just sail straight to Snowpoint in Sinnoh. We apologize for the inconvenience.

 

Calm down Austin! Austin mentally scolded himself. He paced across the room, trying to figure out what to do. I guess I have to go with my parent's wishes and become a trainer... Is there an option B?

 

Suddenly, his mind switched gears, peeling out of Negative and heading into Positive. He thought of the Poochyena and Skarmory drawing he did, and thought of all the Pokemon he could draw that he could encounter. But most of all, his mind thought of all the action scenes, the intense battles he could sketch and color. He could draw Pokemon on the cruise, but never battles. Those would be good for his speed drawings. And for the first time since he was kicked of the ship, he grinned.

 

I suppose I never thought of that, he mused, suddenly a lot happier. But I'm still not fighting gym leaders. I still don't want to be the champion.

As the nurse handed Alice her Pokeballs back, she sent out the Poochyena and Zigzagoon, "Alright, boys. Our journey starts here! No goofing around!" She led the two Pokemon over to Austin, "Hey, maybe we should team up. I mean, you don't seem interested in collecting your badges at all. But... I have someone to catch up to. Maybe I could tag along with you! You could sketch all the Pokemon we see, and I can catch up to my brother!" She thought for a moment, "Oh, almost forgot... Never caught your name. Mine's Alice."

edmon looked closely to the pokemons that the machine showed '' ok mmhmm... i want that one '' he said pointing out the the round one with magnets on it's round body. '' you mean magnemite ? '' said the professor as he gave out the pokemon in is pokeball and the five other pokerballs, also followed by the pokedex. '' thanks ! '' he said to the prof. as he ran out the lab and went to the nearest place were he could test a fight with his new pokemon.(( that would be route 1 right ? )). When he arrived to route 1 he throwed out is pokeball and in mid-air his magnemite came out. '' wow, so thats a real magnemite, pretty awsome. '' he said to himself out loud. he then searched the area for any type of pokemons. He looked every where , in trees, in tall grass, and even by the small water ponds. But before he would fight he added magnemite in his pokedex and checked what attacks he had. -tackle- and -metal sound-. Edited August 28, 2011 by kunailby

Austin thought about this for a moment, before saying, "Sure. Sounds like a good idea." It was a win-win for the both of them, and having company might be a interesting. "And by the way, my name's Austin...Delarne." He hesitated a bit on that last part. He knew Alice would probably flip when he heard it, but he decided he might reveal it anyways.

"Did you just say... Delarne?" Alice stared, "You're a Delarne? Like the mega-big-giant-cruise-line, Delarne?" She wasn't particularly enthusiastic about meeting a family member of Delarne. She never really understood how people got all worked up about famous people. Alice wasn't one to get excited over something like this. But she had to admit... She was a bit impressed, "How about that... Small town girl and a big-name hotshot, roaming Broskii."

Now that Torchic was fed and happy, Morty expected it to come and battle him. But when Torchic started running away, Morty finally gave up. With a dejected expression and slouched shoulders, he sighed and began trudging back to the Route. Cyto tried to cheer him up by doing funny faces, exaggerating each warp of his face, but that did not seem to work. Cyto then decided to just float by him silently, as he will always be supportive of his trainer. Being in such a depressed mood, it was easy for him to not notice another pokemon hiding in the bushes. However, Cyto noticed it immediately and called out to Morty, Hey Morty! There’s something here! A Pokemon! Morty’s face lit up and headed over to where Cyto was.

Akira gasped and ran over to her now fainted Swirl. She quickly returned her before smiling and throwing and empty, her last at that, pokeball at the now fainted Tepig as well. She watched excitedly hoping to catch it. She'd then take the Tepig and her Swirl to the pokecenter, buy some more pokeballs, then head out again.

Austin shrugged. He was a bit stunned that the girl reacted that much, but he was also kind of glad she hadn't.

 

"Not really a hot-shot. But anyways, we should get going. You want to stop by the Poke Mart here before we go?" Austin questioned, preparing to leave. He didn't have any supplies in his bag besides some food and the Poke Balls he had received with his Skarmory, so...

kunailby ~ After cheking for pokemon everywhere, Edmon had found nothing. Until a wild Sentret(lvl 2) appeared before him. The idea of the boy holding the wiered device caught its attention and it stood on its tail to have a closer look of it...

 

woshiico0kie ~ The pokemon Cyto encountered was a wild Pidove(lvl 6) who was being hiding in the tall gras as it was being playing with its friends. unfortunately for it, its friends had forgotten of him and were not coming back to look for it.

 

akiraa ~ The pokeball hit the beaten Tepig on his back. It bounced and dragged the fire pig inside of it and fell tot he ground shaking. It shook once... twice... a third time and finally... a click! was heard. Tepig had been caught!

 

Pokemon Caught: Tepig, level 4, Lonely nature, increased Attack, decreased Defense

Team Joker

 

In a distant city in the Broskii Region, A tall building arises from the rest of those in the city. The clearness and quietness of the day gets interrupted by the noise of helicopters blades piercing the sky as they fly to the top of the building. The choppers got on top of the building and lands on the multiple H shaped landing ports. As they touch the floor, their blades began to stop and people began to come out of them. Lots of trainers, old and young, but all equally experienced began to go down of them. Each of them feet and handcuffed and with chains holding together the cuffs of all to each other. Right after them, the clown masked thigs come out. They have taken the masks off as they are now in a safe place. Out of each helicopter three thungs comes out with a large back each of them. In the bags, the pokeballs containing the pokemon of the kidnapped trainers. All of them held together in small cases, each with the finger print and name of their owner to avoid riots when they (the pokemon) get released.

 

When everyone has came down of the choppers, Slash and his partner came down from them too. "take them down to the lab, they'll know what to do with them" says Slash to the thugs. The other guy approaches him with a grin in his face "I see your Scyther got pretty injured in the battle with Dante" he says to Slash. The man turns to him with an angry face "shut up Flegias, you got it easy with that coordinator, but Dante is different" he answers, barely controlling his impulse of punching his fellow Jester in the face. At this sign of hostility Houndoom comes out of his pokeball to protect his master. The hell hound growls to Slash, his mouth engulfed in fire as he prepares to shot a Flamethrower at the angry man. Flegias turns to his pokemon and signals him to stop "its ok Houndoom, he's always like that when it comes to Dante" and walks away from Slash and inside of the building, Houndoom following him loyaly. Slash remains standing there, thinking on how he got beaten by Dante's Nidoking, even after all those of training he haven't been able to defeat that monster yet. A quiet and serious grin in his face when he hears a voice coming from the building's door "Slash sir! you've been summoned to the leader" This takes him out his trance and comes into the building, holding tightly his Scyther's pokeball.

 

Tom

 

After watching the girl only ignored his words, Tom sighed and continued his way out of Pring Town. On his pocket, the pokeballs containing his Elekid and Poliwag who he had just caught. He made his way out thinking on what had happened the day before and what could possibly had happened to the kidnapped people.

"I don't think I'd have anything to buy there so I think we can skip it. There's not much here so we should just make our way to Route 2." Alice suggested, walking out of the Pokemon Center after returned Zigzagoon to his Pokeball. She couldn't wait for her first Gym Battle.

Morty looked and saw a Pidove hiding in the grass. He praised Cyto for noticing it and then proceeded to alert the Pidove of its upcoming battle. He then began, asking Cyto to start with a Psywave attack. Blue rings were emitted from the Cell pokemon, headed towards the wild Pidove. Morty then commanded Cyto to follow up with Reflect, to protect himself from attacks that might come. A transparent wall materialsed in front of Cyto. Morty hoped it would be worth investing some of Cyto's energy on maintaining the shield so that Cyto wouldn't be hurt that much.
