Next morning, Sereena woke up with her Pansear curled up by her shoulder; her Sentret by her feet and Pidgey perched in a nearby tree. It had been a busy day, yesterday, what with the disturbance at the event.... she slipped out of her sleepingbag to start gathering some breakfast for herself and her pokemon. About half an hour later, the girl had a few passable poffins made... she would require abit more practice, but they weren't bad for a beginner. She smiled... how much longer before she would get to the first pokemon gym? in the confusion and excitement yesterday, she had fogotten to ask.

 

Her Pansera was not pleased at first to be woken, but when she saw that breakfast was ready, the little monkey cheared up conisderably. The other two woke when they had smelled food being prepared.She grinned as she watche d the three of them devouring their breakfasts as if nothing at all unsual had happened yesterday. It was going to be a big day, the girl had a feeling.

Day 4

 

Pring Town ~ The aftermath of the attack from the previous day is now clear. The park is currently off-limits since it is being repaired from the destruction it recieved the day before. Some of the pokemon have returned to the town, it is now safe. But not all of them. The starters are no longer avaible in this town, at least nor for this day. Yet, you can still find wild pokemon in the town, but they are all hostile towards humans for the events of the previous day, so don't expect any easy battles.

 

Route 2 ~ This is a long Route that leads to Greenwood Forest. It takes at least 2 days to go across it. There is a river to the east side, as a small house, which is in a fact a Pokemon Clininc run by Maria, who helps wild pokemon who are sick or injured. She also has a spare room so a maximum of two people can spend the night in her clinic, of course, only if you want to. It is not needed to visit her, but it could be good if you find any injured pokemon or you want your pokemon to be healed.

 

poke11 and Alicia Jewel ~ you can now get to Pring Town, though, you won't be able to reach Route 2 just yet since you spent the last day in Route 1. You need to explore the town for your characters to know what had happened in the town the day before. This is for plot purposes.

Akira groaned awake the next morning, her throat still hurt a bit. She wished she could have done more than just sit there coughing when the clown people attacked. Skit looked up at Akira wearily, and Akira smiled and said, an a bit of a rougher voice than usual, "Let's get going Skit, I feel fine other than a soar throat." Skit smiled and said "Skit!" Akira laughed, then got up, putting Skit back in her ball just in case. She walked out, and one of the nurses stopped her. She made her go back in the room, then did a quick check up before nodding and saying "Alright, you can go. But I would be careful, your throat has not fully healed yet." Akira nodded and said "I knew that." But smiled and said "Thanks." Before leaving.

As Zaak woke up, he instinctively dropped down from the tree, doing a quick analysis of his surroundings. You could never be too sure that those thugs from the day before weren't around. Zaak noticed Echo was already awake, and was in deep discussion with a Noctowl who was clearly asleep. Zaak just looked away, thinking "I don't want to know" He looked around for some berries, and remembered his midnight snack, and that, at the moment, he wasn't actually hungry. "Hey Echo, how about today we find you a partner" he called to his pokemon. Echo dropped down from the branch the sleeping Noctowl was on, and hovered above Zaak's shoulder, nodding in agreement. "Alright then, lets get going!" Zaak exclaimed.

 

Within about five minutes of looking, Zaak found himself slightly angry. There had been no pokemon to be seen. But his un-lucky streak was over, for at that moment he heard a rustling in the grass. As he walked toward it, he couldn't help but notice some vines entangled around the trees, and a few oddly shaped leaves. "I wonder what sort of pokemons would do that" he thought. Then he looked onward toward the rustling, finding it seemingly drawing him in. "This is it" he figured. "This will be next partner".

 

Echo darted straight towards whatever was in the grass, unaware of what might be lurking in it.

Lynn was immensely grateful that her mom had convinced her to bring camping supplies. The sun had set a lot faster than she had thought it would, so she ended up spending the night in a tent.

 

When she felt the sun shining into her closed eyes, she let out a yawn and stretched her arms out. "Good morning, Gill," she said to the Wooper in his Poke Ball.

 

She quickly ate a honey bun for breakfast and packed up her stuff before setting out toward Pring Town. Maybe I'll run into a Sentret on the way, she found herself thinking. That's always been one of my favorites...

Crystal woke up bright and early the next day. Her Pokemon were sleeping soundly, so she stayed put and enjoyed the moment. Her eyes shifted towards Mimi. She was just waking up. "Hey, Mimi" she whispered, trying to not wake up anyone. Mimi looked up at Crystal, with a tired look in her eyes. "Have a good rest?" Crystal asked. Mimi nodded. Soon the other Pokemon were waking up too. "Hey guys!" Crystal said and got out of her sleeping bag. "Are you guys ready for a good day today?" she asked. Her Pokemon nodded in agreement. They kept walking until they came to a town. "Is this the place the smoke was coming from before?" Crystal said as they walked in it. There was a park being rebuilt, and it was clear it had been attacked. "Wow" Crystal whispered. There were some traces of Pokemon being around, but not much. "Want to stop at the Pokemon Center, you know, to ask what happened" Crystal asked her team. They nodded. "What do you think happened around here?" Romeo asked Bolt. She shrugged. As they were walking, Lucy noticed something shimmering in a tree.

 

(Can the shimmering thing please be an item? But I don't mind it being a Pokemon either...)

Me ~ As the morning arrived, the light of the sun got into the room through the curtains. A couple hours later, Kaiser awoke from his sleep just to find himself surrounded by other trainers. Apparently, the chaos from the day before made it impossible for most of them to return to their homes and/or journey. But lucky enough, he got all his belongings safe. He made his way to the bathroom to have a shower before leaving the place and continue on his journey, surely, the things that happened yesterday were awfull, but the people in Pring Town were already fixing it... except for the kidnapped trainers and pokemon, all was getting better now.

 

Before heding out to Route 2, Kaiser decided it would be a good idea to pass by the PokeMart, so he heded on its way. But something felt wierd... he felt as he was being watched. He stopped to find out what was it... As soon as he turned around he could see it, a wild Pidove(lvl 4) was behind him and began attacking him without advice...

 

((I won't catch it, so I'll control it... but on my next post ))

 

stromzone ~ As soon as Zaak and Echo appreached to the bushes, a wild Purrloin(lvl 4) jumped out of them using Scratches repeatedly to hurt both the trainer and the pokemon...

 

Alicia Jewel ~ While Lynn walked towars Pring Town, she was being followed by a wild pokemon. A small Pidgey(lvl 3), who was interested in the girl, flew to her head and landed there, looking at her with curiosity. It did not seemed hostile, but more interested in the trainer...

Zaak smiled, ignoring the pain of the Scratch. This was the same type of pokemon they had saw the night before, though it had gotten away. This time, though, it wouldn't. "Okay Echo, start off with Mean Look so this one wont get away!" Echo ignored the Scratches, clearly unaffected by the normal type move, and stared at the cat-pokemon with an intimidating glare. "Good Echo, now follow up with Hidden Power!" At this Echo bursted out shadowy balls, knowing what to do already. This was a strategy they had used a few times. The first Hidden Power would be mostly a distraction, with a follow up of Hypnosis to make the pokemon easier to catch.

Akira stepped out to see that most of the damage of the day before was gone. She smiled then frowned when she remembered that some people and Pokemon were kidnapped. She sighed again, then heard sounds of battling. She started heading towards it, only to trip over something...

Lucy nudged Crystal towards the shimmering thing. When Crystal picked it up, it was an Electirizer. "I don't know what I need this for, but I'll keep it anyways" she said and put it in her bag. Then, the team walked into the Pokemon Center in front of them.

 

"Here are your Pokeballs" the nurse told Crystal. "Um, where are the others?" Crystal asked. "Oh, they are still resting. Come back soon, and they should be fine" the nurse said. "OK" Crystal nodded and headed for the door. When she got outside, she let Mimi out of her Pokeball. "Hey girl" she said and patted Mimi on her head. "It's just you and me girl" Crystal proclaimed. "Let's go!" she yelled and they marched off to the Pokemart. As they walked, Mimi heard a growl from a dark corner in between two buildings. She ran to Crystal and nudged her. "Wha-" Crystal was asking but was cut off with another growl before the creature stepped out from it's hiding spot.

Lynn started a bit when she felt something land on her head. She slid her eyes up as far as she could and faintly saw something brown and feathery. "What...?" she muttered. She didn't want to try to shake the thing off or pick it up in case it tried to attack her... She slowly reached for her Pokedex and pointed it at the creature on her head.

 

"Pidgey, the Tiny Bird Pokemon," the Pokedex began. "It is docile and prefers to avoid conflict. If disturbed, however, it can ferociously strike back."

 

"Well, hi there, little Pidgey," Lynn greeted. "You're the first Pokemon I've encountered that hasn't tried to attack me..."

stromzone ~ The Purrloin glared back to the gastly pokemon. The mean look was not necessary, it was determined to fight them untill they leave its territory, it did not want any more humans that could harm it around. When it sw the spheres around the ghost type moving towards it, Purrloin smiled, it was a dark type move, it would not do much damage to it so Purrloin decided to recieve the hit. At the same momment the Hidden Power moved towards the cat, Purrloin took this chance to use a Leer on the ghost type to lower its defense so it could land a good hit later...

 

akiraa ~ As the girl run, she stepped over a wild Tepig's(lvl 4) tail. The small orange pig cried out loud, it hurted! The fire pokemon turned around to the girl and tried to use and Ember on her... only being able to let out poofs of smoke. Tepig blushed, it was embarrasing for a fire pokemon to not being able to spit fire. It looked down, it was completely ashamed and forgot its first intention... to battle the girl who stepped on its precious zig zag tail...

 

poke11 ~ A wild Lillipup(lvl 4) was lurking between the shadows. Still ascared from the events of the day before, the dog pokemon was being carefull not to catch unwanted attention towards it. After all, it was a witness of what had happened to the pokemon that fought those men the day before. It was not good and it did not want it for it... Lillipup jumped back when it got itself discovered by the girl and her pokemon, it was now paralized by fear and was not sure of what to do...

 

Me ~ "whoa!" yelled Kaiser as he jumped to a side to avoid the attack from the Pidove. He smiled, he was now able to have another battle. He got Zigzagoon's pokeball out, and threw it in the air, releasing the racoon in mid air. "Zigzagoon!" he cried as soon as he was out. The racoon looked around just to see the Pidove infront of it. Not only that, the bird was flapping its wings. Suddenly, from its wings, wind blades formed and flew towards the racoon. The Gust attack was surely strong, but Zigzagoon was ready to battle now. "Zigzagoon use Pursuit!" yelled Kaiser. Zigzagoon, strangely obeyed and after nodding, he avoided the Gust by dissapearing and appearing behind the Pidove, hitting it with his whole body, making the bird to fall to the ground.

 

As soon as Pidove hit the ground, Zigzagoon smiled, falling to the ground too. He muttered "Zigzagoon" in proud a couple times, he was sure the battle was ended. But it wasn't, Pidove got back on its feet, and by swinging its wing to the ground towards Zigzagoon, it threw sand to the racoon. The sand numbed Zigzagoon's sight, leaving Pidove enough time to create another Gust. The bird got to the air and began flapping its wings rapidly, the wind cleaning some of the dirt from Zigzagoon's eyes, but not fast enough for the racoon to see the upcoming wind blades. Zigzagoon got struck by the blades of wind released by Pidove, this Gust was really strong, but now, he could see again. "ok Zigzagoon, use Growl and Tackle!" said Kaiser. Zigzagoon nodded and after cleaning completely his eyes, he Growled to the bird before running towards it and ram it with a Tackle...

 

Alicia Jewel ~ The Pidgey turned its head around as it heard the girl talking. She was now clearly aware of its presence so it decided to got infront of her... The bird flew off Lynn's head and infront of her, greeting her with a happy "prr" which really was a "hello" in the bird's language...

Morty awoke from his place on a bench in the Pokemon Center. The daylight was streaming through the windows and people were still walking around. He saw that the many whom were injured still lay scattered around the hall of the Pokemon Center, albeit in an orderly fashion. He went up to the counter and folded the blanket that cradled him to sleep neatly. He wrote a nice little note thanking Nurse Joy for all her help and placed it together, with the blanket, on the main counter. He proceeded outside, with Cyto following close behind.

 

When he walked out, the disaster was even more apparent, now that the chaos was gone. What was left were the tattered and burnt remains of the tents. He lowered his head and walked towards the entrance of the next route, as he could not bear to see the sight of the destruction any longer. Tears began welling up in his eyes again, much to Cyto’s dismay. The Cell pokemon was at his wit’s end. All he did was to nudge Morty along, hoping that over time, he would forget about it, which was rather impossible.

 

--Route 2—

 

Morty used his sleeves to wipe his tears from his face as he walked along the designated route. Not really noticing, he walked straight off the well-traversed route into some bushes and tripped over something. He cried out, ”Ouch!”

"A Lillypup!" Crystal whispered. Before she could do anything, Mimi, her Bulbasaur, stepped out in front of her. Crystal understood why. "OK, Mimi. Use Growl!" she called out. Mimi used a menacing growl at the frightened Pokemon, then started to charge towards it with a tackle.

Echo shook off the Leer, not realizing the intentions of it. Directly after the Hidden Power, he knew what to do. He used his Hypnosis ray to put the pokemon to sleep. That's when they would do the real damage. He opened his gaping mouth and shot waves of drowsy hypnosis towards the small, but confident, cat.

Mia woke up early the next morning. Earlier than she had expected, in fact. She nudged Mareep who easily woke up next to her and told her to begin getting ready to go. Within a half hour of rising, she had taken down the small camp she had set up, and was soon approached by a guard who was sent to clean up the demolished park.

 

"Excuse me, miss." The man said as Mia was shoving the tent back into it's place in her bag. She did not hear him the first time he called, so he tried again. "Excuse me!" His voice was a little louder and her attention had been gained. "You're going to have to leave this area. We have to clean it up today." Mia complied with no arguments, and quickly left the area to move to route 2, her meeting place with Diomedes.

 

The walk had taken about fifteen minutes since she could not cut through the middle of the park, so by the time she had reached the beginning of the route she figured she was about ten minutes later than she had told Diomedes. Mia was slightly out of breath, because she had been trying to make good time to arrive, and so was Mareep. The two sat down at the clearing by the front of the route and began to wait.

 

After only a minute or so, Mia quickly realized that her stomach was growling uncontrolably, and decided it was a good time to make a bit of breakfast. She sat down some of the pre-prepared pokemon food for Mareep, who eagerly jumped on the meal. She quickly made a small fire, and began to cook a small bite of breakfast; there was enough for two people.

woshiico0kie ~ Morty had stepped on a small stick. The sound, alerted a nearby Pidove(lvl 6) of the presence of a possible threat. The bird came out of the tree where it was resting to check on this possible threat and got itself infront of the boy. Not sure how it would react, Pidove took battle stance in case the human would attack it...

poke11 ~ The Lillipup was already ascared, and the attitude of the Spearow did not help. It considered to scape, but having the girl a bird pokemon with her, it was more than possible she would find it. Lillipup got back to its senses, and with a still ascared face let out an equally scared Growl towards the bird. Lillipup prepared to recieve an attack...

stromzone ~ The Purrloin expected the next move. It happily closed its eyes when the Hipnosis began to form in Echo's mouth and as soon as the waves passed by it, it opened them again. The cat let out a proud "prrrr" before glaring at the ghost pokemon and try to land a Scratch on it, not really knowing the move wouldn't affect him...

 

Me ~ Zigzagoon continued running towards the Pidove, who was still flapping its wings. Zigzagoon jumped in the air at the same time another set of wind blades formed infront od Pidove's wings. The racoon was hit by the wind blades which made his STAB Tackle to be weakened in strength. Still, the hit was strong enough to force the bird to fall to the ground, now clearly weakened. "~zagoon! he cried as he fall to the ground. Kaiser smiled, even when he was hurt, Zigzagono had managed to land a good hit on Pidove. "ok Zigzagoon, now finish it with another Tackle!" said Kaiser. Zigzagoon nodded and ran towards the now standing up Pidove and rammed it with his whole body. The strength of the hit pushed Pidove to the wall of a house, making it finally collapsing. Pidove had been defeated. Kaiser smiled "well done Zigzagoon" he said. ZIgzagoon looked back at him and smiled "za... gooon~" he muttered before collapsing to the ground too. Kaiser shrugged, his pokemon had done a great job, but pushed himself to much and fainted too. He got to Zigzagoon and sprayed him with a potion before returning him to his pokeball so he could have a well deserved rest. He then approached the Pidove and let a couple Oran Berries near it so it would recover health when it awaken and then headed to the Pokemart. He got the supplies he needed and headed to route 2.

As soon as Kaiser was in the reoute, he stopped to think about what had happened the day before. He got to a large rock in the entrance of the route prepared to have his first meal of the day...

Sereena saw the kid she had battled at the pokemon center pass by her and heaad into some of the thick brush... she followed him because she thought she had heard him trip and wanted to be sure the boy was alright... she had sort of taken a 'big sister' sort of feeling towards the boy. " You OK? She called as she walked up to find him locked in a battle with a wild Pidove... she scanned the pokemon with her pokedex... Unnova pokemon! The girl grinned. Pansear chattered, rooting for the other human.

After awakening in his typical tree-mounted camp, Diomedes was feeling rather sluggish. "Curse ye, early morn." He uttered bitterly, the archaic language fitting him rather well. Mirk had awoken alongside him, as did Chopper and Ludo, all three having wanted to try out Diomedes' sleeping habit. Mirk was used to it, and Ludo quite enjoyed looking at the world from above for a change, but Chopper was not to comfortable with the experience. He stuck with it, but he didn't like it.

 

Diomedes, in an act of highly complex laziness, opted to scale the distance from his camp to the rendezvous with Mia via the tree branches instead of climbing down and walking. He couldn't be bothered to climb down. And maybe the shock of a fall to the ground would wake him up. Fortunately it didn't come to this. Walking over the sturdy branches of the trees, Diomedes looked amusedly to Ludo and Mirk's strategic zig-zagging over the branches, while carrying a not-so-willing-to-be-on-speaking-terms Chopper.

 

The group arrived not a few moments after their new friend on the ground had made a campfire, and seemed to be readying some food. Chopper suddenly seemed eager to be social. As Mia and her Mareep seemed to be settling in, Ludo jumped from the tree first, landing on sturdy little legs. Chopper then leapt, bouncing off of Ludo's broad leaf and landing softly beside the Lotad, a manouvre Mirk mimicked, landing on the other side of Ludo. The three smiled and gave salute-based greetings (as far as physiology would allow) before blinking and looking curiously up into the tree. Where was their trainer? Well. Right now, he seemed to have slumped down on a large branch, not quite awake still... He looked rather like a Persian. "Good morning, everyone." He at least managed to muster a proper, friendly greeting.

Zaak laughed at the poor pokemons efforts. It was smart, it had figured out how to dodge Hypnosis easily, but its attacks had no effect on Echo. "Okay Echo, we're going to go with brute force this time, so use Hidden Power again!" Zaak called this because it would be the strongest against a seemingly Normal-type pokemon, as the ghost moves would have no effect. Hidden Power was also a fail-safe way to get a strong hit on the opponent.

Mia started around, the sound surprised her enough to drop her spoon in the pot, which was cooking rice for rice cakes. A Lotad had fallen out of the tree, it seemed, and similar to a Leopard, had landed daintily on its tiny feet. Only seconds later, a Bidoof and a Mudkip followed suit. Upon seeing the Mudkip, Mareep started out towards the three, eagerly greeting Mirk, Ludo, and Chopper.

 

A smile pulled at Mia's cheeks once she had realized that the three pokemon that had landed before her were under the ownership of Diomedes. She looked around on the ground, but to no avail. After a few moments, she heard a sluggish "Good morning, everyone," from the trees. She looked above her, smiling at the Persian-man and his pokemon.

 

"Howdy, all of ya'. Looks like you three are chipper," her voice was sweet, addressing the pokemon before a soft chuckle erupted while she joked to their trainer, "and it seems your trainer didn't hear Doduo crow this morning." She paused, stirring the rice after shoveling the spoon out and taking it off the heat. "Would you guys like some food? All of ya', I mean."

 

She picked up the bowls for the food without waiting for an answer and set them out, but held herself back from pouring the food. "After we finish eating, I'd like to head out. Mareep and I started a bit later than the typical starting day, so we're a few levels behind. We have some training to do." She sheep nodded, agreeing to train. The ball of fluff looked forward to seeing her trainer try and prove herself after her failure the day before.

Akira heard a Tepig cry, then had smoke blown in her face. She looked down to see the Tepig blushing. She was quite sure that the Tepig was embarrassed that it could only blow smoke, most likely since it's level was to weak to know ember. She smiled and bent down and said "Sorry little guy, didn't mean to step on your tail. And don't be embarrassed. I'm sure that it is only cause you need to grow just a bit more, that you can't spit embers yet." Akira smiled. She wasn't going to attack the poor thing in this state. Not unless it attacked first.

stromzone ~ The purrloin was shocked that its attack di not land on the ghastly. Not only it did not hurt the ghost, it had passeed right through it. The purple cat turned around just to find itself being attacked by another set of dark orbs. The attack would not hurt it much, but it was not as dumb to let it hit it everytime it was shot. Purrloin jumped on a rock to dodge the Hidden Power and from there, it used another Growl to weaken the gastly's pokemon attack...

 

((you do know that Purrloin is a Dark Type right?))

 

akiraa ~ The pity the girl showed to it only made Tepig to feel more embarrased. But it recovered it senses, this was the girl that stepped on its tail and now she was pitying it for not being able to use a fire attack? That can not be ok! Tepig jemped back from the girl and let out a menacing face on her. It was trying to tell her it was going to get payback for what she had done to its precious tail!

Morty staggered for a bit before balancing himself again. When he saw the Pidove in front of him, he could not help but to laugh when he saw the Tiny Bird pokemon taking up a battle stance in front of him. Morty reached into his backpack and got a poffin from his poffin case. He tossed one over to the Pidove and slowly backed away.

 

As he backed away, he bumped into Serena, who was standing nearby.

 

"You OK?” She called as she walked up to find him locked in a battle with a wild Pidove.

 

”I’m fine, thanks for the concern! I just encountered an overly reactive Pidove. It was rather quite.” Morty ended with a short laugh. He petted Serena's Pansear as a greeting before deciding to look around the bushes some more for a Grass-type pokemon, something that was lacking in his team, a pokemon that could cover some missing spots of weaknesses. When he heard rustling in the bushes behind him, he immediately turned around, noticing something there.

Zaak realized the move was growl would just make it harder to damage the pokemon. "Echo, use Spite to take out the move growl, the follow it up with Astonish!" Echo, weakened by the growl, did as told, and tried to weaken the opponent.
