Mostly because over half I've voted on are just a massive jumble, or have random things floating everywhere like people just left them there (the tree is bare). I'm slightly weirded out. Posted January 9, 2011 Most of the trees look really cluttered. Some people tried to use all of the ornament and it ended up looking like a mess. I prefer the more simplistic ones. I still haven't seen one that deserved a 10. Share this post Link to post

If it's any consolation, I'm ignoring ornaments floating randomly in space, because I trust they weren't meant to be there. The highest I've given anything so far is a 7, and there have been several where it looked like there was no effort to place the ornaments anywhere in particular at all. I feel sorry for those people if it's because they submitted during the glitch and didn't know they could edit it later, but I really can't rate them higher than I am if I'm being honest about my impression of the tree (and anyway, it said you could keep editing on the submission page, so I'm not giving people bonus points for not reading.)
