I'm a long-time Robin Hobb fan and the Rain Wild Chronicles haven't come out here yet (by "here" I mean - translated to Russian and imported from Russia), so I have just the e-books on my laptop but haven't been getting around to read them due to fear of ending up cross-eyed from not being able to stop reading her awesomeness. Yep, I did I already read The Farseer Trilogy, Liveship Traders Trilogy and The Tawny Man Trilogy. It was so annoying that it was so hard getting hold of Dragon Haven, after I finished Dragon Keeper. Before the summer there were already several people in line before me at the library, so that I would get it while I was on holiday. I checked the waiting time again when I returned, and that's about three months. I couldn't stand to wait any longer, so I just went ahead and bought it. I figured that when I like her other books, I would probably like this one too, so it wouldn't really be a waste of money after all ^^ Robin Hobb definitely writes my type of books Share this post Link to post

She's my favourite fantasy author, and I'll gladly buy the Rain Wild books in case they ever get available here. Edited August 23, 2010 by lightbird Share this post Link to post

I'm also curious about the definition of a book. I read a magazine weekly that is over 100 pages and has more text than the average 100-page novel (as the pages are bigger, the font size is smaller, and images are minimal for a magazine). Would it count? Edited August 24, 2010 by kadoatie Share this post Link to post

I don't know how I'll be able to cope without the characters, though. They've sort of become a part of my life and now I've finished the series. It's an accomplished and sad feeling. Pfft, what to read next...? >.< Share this post Link to post
